I really enjoy these videos because of how informative they are. The data behind these changes is what excites me. I wish I had a dyno, I would do stuff like this all day long ( stuff as in before and after changes, I could never go as detailed in the data without learning more).
These are the types of Turbo upgrades I like to see for street/DD cars. Retaining the responses but just bumping up the peak airflow a touch. It’s very similar to the GT2260S on my S3. Stock spool but about 40HP worth of addition airflow. That thing is going to drive great.
It's been on the car almost 2 months now, I've just been too busy so it took a while to get the video up. So far it's been amazing, really fixes the powerband a ton and actually gets better mpg too
@@WT4T glad to hear, looking forward to seeing part 2.
Love the videos as always! 👍🏽
Thank you for watching!
This is the video I been wanting to find I been eyeing the Bloush upgrade for a bit already
Glad you found it then!
@@WT4Tis the turbo any louder than the stock one maybe some street driving vids would be awesome to find out
Looking forward to part 2! Great spool, good power!
Nice little bump in power. I wonder if there will ever be drop-in turbo options that make 400whp on pump gas?
I think this will on 93 with a little more aggressive tune and a fmic.
Is there a sound difference when spooling up and idling? The stock turbo is really quiet even with an intake.
Not really inside the car. Maybe a tad louder outside but not much.
Always fun to see turbo differences. Curious did you add or reduce CAM Timing in the upper RPMs? On my EJ25 VF52 tune I have it tapered out to zero by 5800 and power feel flattens pretty good up there. I have a feeling the VF52 just can't flow enough up top coming off 21psi in the midrange.
Ej25 avcs is a very different beast than the FA stuff.
@@WT4T Thanks, good to know!
Would you be willing to do a breakdown of the basics in tuning a 2022 wrx? I am not looking to tune my own car, i just wish i knew more about the car and its composition tuning wise
impressive what the fa24 can do but i just can't get past what they put it in and what that car costs for what you get..
The car isn't my favorite body for sure but they feel really good driving.
costs? you can get this car for 30k flat, then tune it for $700 and make 400 whp/wtq. i dont think there's a better deal out there, or even one close (other than the GTI, but it's fwd and has tons of reliability issues and high maintenance costs. wrx walks all over it on the street any day of the week.) you want any other car (golf r, audis, bmws, mustangs, camaros, you're going to be spending $55k +).
All of this is too shiny for me, but I am curious about that lip on the Venturi thing. How much power would that have cost?
It's pretty minimal, not like a 32mm restrictor on a rally car. However, at some point or will choke flow like one.
Ahh how did I miss this?
Gotta hit that bell!
What is the web site name you get that turbo
It's not listed anywhere currently, but if you call PREracing at 503-619-0055 they can get you set up with one
Do you change all the bolts to connect turbo/ J-pipe
How feel your transmission and clutch
So far it's holding up 🤞
Can you running with that turbo straight E-85
Yes, but you'll probably max the fuel system if you turn it up
Do you think if i put fuel pump to fuel it is enough or need injectors well
@hectorramirez8516 I haven't seen a need for a low pressure pump yet.
What is the boost limit hold this turbo
I've had it hold 26. Haven't tried higher yet
I have a question. Im lazy and don't wanna shift. How is cobb stage 2 ots or custom tune on 2024 wrx gt CVT.. thanks
It's a good tune but just very soft.
I live near by. I'm debating either 2024 wrx gt or TR and go stage 2 with awe touring exhaust. My 3rd car...
Would be a great choice, TR is a bit expensive but pretty cool
