- Welcome back to 'Will Tune For Tacos'! In this second part of our BRZ Gen2 FA24 tuning series, we bust myths about intakes. We compare stock, modded, and Perrin Cold Air Intakes to see how they impact performance. Don't miss our detailed analysis and dyno results!
DEFINITELY KEEP POSTING VB CONTENT PLEASE. THE MORE THE BETTER !! HAVE YOU TUNED ANY MISHIMOTO INTAKE ON VB'S? SEEMS LIKE ALL IVE SEEN IS ETS OR PERRIN.
Would love to see a VB comparison video between the stock and any GESI catted J pipe! I've heard it helps with a bit of top end HP but I'm curious if the stock J pipe is actually a turbo hot side restriction in the higher RPM. Not a BRZ owner but love the content either way!
I did the stage 2 videos over on the VB playlist which is a ETS vs Stock comparison
@@WT4T ohh okay! Must have missed that one. I only recently discovered the channel and tried to look back to see if there was already one!
@blakegirard2415 th-cam.com/video/FDaQDufF1DE/w-d-xo.html
@@WT4T appreciate it!
@blakegirard2415 Definitely. Watch the video, but basically. You're correct in that it makes top end power and low end the factory flows well enough for the kind of boost that anybody would want to run
So glad you upload again on this series. I know they’re expensive but I wonder if one day in the future you could create a tune for ITB’s for the FA24. Preferably the SARD kit.
Keep up the great work.
I'd have to have one here to do that. Not going to even attempt to tackle itb remotely through ecutek
@@WT4T what would you need to tune them? Asking out of curiosity.
I know that the SARD kit can run off the stock MAF without needing a tune, though it is recommended. And I also know they could be costly.
@omarawilson2853 if they're using a common plenum for the maf then it probably wouldn't be that hard. Figured they were proper itb's
@@WT4T you can run them without the plenum but I figured that tuning it that way would be more complicated and would probably produce less power overall
@omarawilson2853 In theory, it should make more power, as you can tune the stack length, but it definitely makes tuning an absolute nightmare with oem type software
Great video again. I watched your VB tuning, but can't remember if the stock airbox mod (maybe) was tested and if it made gains on the turbo engine stock tune.
Yeah, it did make a little power when there was a turbo pulling air through it, not so much when there's just a little ol motor doing all the work.
YESSSSSS
OL' COBB UP TO SOME SHADY HP/DYNO CLAIMS?? SOUNDS LIKE SOME OF THEIR VARIABLES WEREN'T CONSISTENT
imagine gatekeeping what you did to your airbox
Haha, Google bud. I'm not going to have the EPA on my door step for telling people publicly on TH-cam how to perform a defeat.
@@WT4T you guys don’t really have a real MOT anyway, so I don’t get it
@alexstromberg7696 MOT?
@@WT4T inspection
@alexstromberg7696 I'm not worried about inspection, It's the EPA watching my video and showing up at the door to my business with a sign that says you can no longer do business.
