- Friday night channel update! While driving in my 2016 Mk7 VW Golf R DSG I talk the weekend ahead. BMW M4 and Audi RS5 test drive planned with a possible Ferrari visit too

Nice, man - your channel is very busy atm with lots of cool stuff to come. Looking forward to the Mustang that should interesting, crossing my fingers for some video tho haha. Totally understand you can't always get it. Love the M4. If I were looking at cars that would be a top contender. Serious weapon that.

nice to see your looking at a RS5 " I found my 14 plate rs5 a awesome sounding and nice softer ride than bmw m4 I had before the audi" m4 engine is fast because torq very low down at 1500-2000 revs" where audi rs5 is around 5k revs" did find the m4 very good on fuel thow!
Its interesting what you say about daily drivers and small powerfull RWD cars. That SLK I bought was twin turbo with 204 bhp and 370 ft pounds of torque (before you say those sound odd figures it was the diesel!) . That day I category B'd it 🙈 was not very bad weather just the odd shower and I hit a patch of hail stones and was a total passenger. Being so short, light and torquey it just snapped on me threw me across to the other side of the road and into the hedge its rear tyres dug in on the soft bank it was on its roof. I think my mentality with cars is now the opposite of yours spend 30-60K on a big comfy SUV and maybe 7-8 K on a summer fun car like an MX5
I think I remember you saying that a few weeks ago about the accident you had mate! That's the fear of rwd with me, pushing it an inch too far and then wiping out! That's why really if take mine on track so I can learn how to do it properly. I'd never go mental on B roads like I do in my golf r with an m4! I did the test drive though and drove the rs5 too
The little short SLK was always very twitchy and felt nervous on the limit. Its amazing I when I set the Tiguans Dynamic Chassis Control to sport I can throw it into corners much quicker with the the 90-10 torque split helping you out than I ever could i the SLK !
The more im hearing of peoples experience with RWS the more im thinking im going to regret losing my Golf R. Do you miss your SLK at all??
Jay Kay well it was jaw dropping pretty and the Vario roof was amazing 😉 and it had lots of nice touches like the air scarf. It's auto box was rather basic my BMW driving mate thought it primitive and Mercedes diesels these days are dog rough compared with the best out there. In general I can see why ladies really go for them lol 😂 mind you what I drive now some people might say is a soccer mom mobile 😏
Hi jay Kay. Ive taken the plunge and paid the deposit on the R.. but having had an R32 mk4 for years the seats to this day are still amazing. Did you go for leathers or cloth in yours ?
congrats on the purchase mate. did you go for the red one you mentioned?? I stuck with the standard seats. It would be good to get someones opinion on the leather seats though
Jay Kay yeah, it's gonna be along way down to Swansea Friday. I really think the cars should come loaded instead of watering them down though. Leather interior should be a must. The R32s came loaded, as it was the flag ship model of the time. VW say it's a to keep weight down. Finding ones been a nightmare mate. Hence why I'm having to travel. Looking forward to it though. It's pretty much same spec as yours, but 3dr in red.
£1750 Leather with bum warmers are the dogs bollocks visual look and good quality. I have had both ,alcantara in my R Estate ,is very good quality, nice look and probably on a freezing morning a bit warmer to touch.
The top Carbon fibre look ( Black or light insert) not my cuppa.@ £2350
keith morris yeah that carbon look I don't like. But Everyone is different. I suppose if the car is a great price then you comprise a little. I can't complain really.

just working on my m4 audio video and you hear me explaining this very thing to the dealer lol. Never waist peoples time as i don't like my time waisted either mate
Which Model porsche turbo? Rs5 is auto isn't it
Not entirely sure which Porsche yet. It would be a case of seeing what they have which is high performance and then taking it for a spin. Yes the Audi is tiptronic. Did both cars today and videod

bit of C++ and objective C. Bit of Java as well. Im dealing more into reporting now though so SQL as well is now keeping me busy
