    Hi, looks like you have done a good job yourself. I changed factory radio to 2 DIN dvd player, but could not find Steering wheel control wires to connect. Can you help me with that? BTW I have Installed SUB which works great, and whole system works without turning the keys on.

    @MatthewTuckerEnt Haha.
    And yeah its basically the same as a regular install except you use the converter and you have to find somewhere to run the remote wire too, like maybe a cigarette lighter or pretty much anything that turns on and off with the car.

    @MatthewTuckerEnt well its needed if your head unit doesn't have an amp output thing in the back, which most factory radios don't, but since you have the shaker it might, I really don't know but just check. If it doesn't then yeah you're gonna need a line out converter, and i just got one at walmart lol it works fine.

    @411onytay I don't have tweeters, my car came prewired for them. And like I said I don't see why they would not work, you're not taking the power away from the tweeters. It would be no different then if you would have used the door speakers for the signal.

    @Phxjunior no, the remote wire needs to be a 12v power source that turns on when the car turns on and turns off when the car is off so that the amp turns off when the car is off or you will kill your battery lol.
    i used the aux power, i couldnt get a good shot of where the wire was at because its a pain in ass to get to.
    but towards the end of the video i kinda explain it a little.

    @doubleZeeZ sorry for the late response. um i briefly went over it on the video, i opened up the compartment where the tweeters are and i spliced that wire. then ran it to the line out converter. if you need me to make a short video to show you just let me know.

    @Phxjunior honestly i dont remember lol i think i picked the green because its the darker color and i cant remember if i got it right.
    I would go check my car but i dont even have it wired like this anymore, i just bought an aftermarket radio lol

    @Sglez305 well I think it really depends on what radio you buy, the headunit I have now really only gets louder than the stock unit but I cant take it to far because the stock speakera can't handle it, so i'll probably change them. But you do get more control of your subs with an after market unit. as far as looks, the dash kit i bought sucks Dick. I wanna get a new one but I've been too busy lol

    i know the amp needs like 4 wires (power, rca, power wire, and the wire to the subs) whered you splice the wires to the output converter?

    @Frankrunner1993 Hey i got the same car and year. Does having an aftermarket radio make a big difference in the sound quality? Personally i like the way the stock radio looks but with my new amp and sub idk if it would be worth it to sacrifice the stock look for better sound quality

    Can you just run a remote wire from the amp to the fuse box?

    Hi Frankrunner, recently I have replaced a lancer single cd player with a 6 cd changer head unit but my front panel display keep blinking. However, when i on the headlamp lights, the dsplay come back to normal. Is there anyway to solve this problem? I hope you or anyone here can help me with this. Thanks.

    Im not going to bullshit you lol i don't really know. I mean i would think having them powered by an amp would give you the full potential of them. Typically when you buy a car from the factory with an upgraded audio package all the speakers are powered by an amp. But check out a local audio shop. They should be able to tell you facts.
