I just installed a new in dash touchscreen radio but my rear deck speakers aren't working. The front and back door speakers work though. I have a 2006 Ford Five Hundred Limited with 6 speakers. Help!!!
Tapped most likely to a fuse down below the drivers side or passenger side maybe IGA1 which is ignition or fuel pump or fuse 18 id check fuse 18 in your manual tho fuse 18 is for my car also I believe there’s a remote wire in the stock headunit you can splice into but that’s a whole lot more work. Make a ring with your remote wire wrap it around one of the silver pieces or rods to your fuse after pulling it out and plug it back in.
Hey man maybe you help after installing a after market headunit (kenwood) with after market rear and front speakers , no subs no amps, my soeakers sound terrible worst than before, coukdnt even turn up without distortion, so i got a 4 channel amp to power those speakers and my front speakers are so quiet compared to the rear, its bad enoughy i have to turn the head unit volume damm near to 30 just to get some loadness cant harley hear anything at 15, but why is my front speakers so low
They’re gonna sound bad and quite because they’re supposed to be hooked up with an amp. Most aftermarket speakers are designed to be used with an amplifier
When installing the amp I know I ground the amp to the chassis, but do I ground the chassis to the battery? Asking cause the amp says do it this way in the little booklet it comes with.
@@BreakersStereo I do have one . How u do that with . But today it was working I went out and moved the wires from subs on the amp and it cut include than ever so I think my wires or connections are ha d
you r video should show and talk about the wires connecting to amp with power and remote and what they are. that is what i am trying to lean and all these videos, people skip over that.
Bruh my speaker smoking
Damn bruh what song you playing?! 🔥🔥
Speaker chill asf😶🌫️
Bruhhh
😂
Bro just blown his sub
Your next video should be adjusting the sound; radio, amp, and amp at the powered subwoofer. Thx!

Where did you connect the remote and rc wire too

Hey if to put all cables in drive side is problem?
Yes. Run the power and signal on the opposite side.

Can you do one with connection of Android radio to external equaliser and amplifier please

Just ground the amp the Chassis.
just remember that the best grounding point is the battery!
that is if the battery is close !
or if you use two batteries !
Why do you run the RCA cables and signal cables on the opposite side of the power cable???
To reduce feed back.. on subs it’s not that big of a deal vs an amp for mids and highs but it’s good practice
@@BreakersStereo any idea why my subwoofers would be humming extremely loud as soon as I power on the head unit
Mine has kickback when I turn mine off
Interference from the power cable
What does the "remote" connector at the Power in side do? (trying to test old amp that i found but dont know nothing about amps)
It supplies voltage to the amp to turn it on and off.
My subs cut on and off , the amp stays on power the whole time , I checked rca cables but the amp will work sometimes they stop
If you have a multimeter, make sure to check the impedance on the woofer to see if they’re good or not
@@BreakersStereo and how u do that lol check it on the amp side or box side

Not me. I bought a 4 channel amp. I dont need a subwoofer. I like my music loud but care much for a lot of bass.
