I paid 100 for foza motorsport. This looks good like they actually tried. I feel like I can pay what I need to. Especially after seeing the mods on the og game. .
@@Housesider Stefano Casillo was the founder, manager and programmer who pretty much created the whole game engine of AC from scratch and refined those physics even further in ACC, along with doing thousand other things. He left few years ago. Aris Vasilakos was responsible for setting up suspension and data values of every individual car and had the most genuine passion for the joy and feel of driving, car handling and engineering, drifting etc I have ever seen. He quitted just this year but apparently had completed all the work for Evo he was supposed to, so atleast there's that. My knowledge of recent years is very poor but as long as they still have team that really knows what they're doing and parent company remembers what makes AC so loved I guess it should all be good.
Kunos somehow managed to make a graphics engine that looks better than the Unreal Engine 4 used in ACC, with just a GTX 1070 as the minimum required GPU.
@@sockrabbtt my 1660 Super (slightly better than the 1070 but still pretty similar) ran ACC and AC1 at 1440p high-ultra settings at around 70-80 fps for both games. 1070 minimum is not such an insane concept, especially of you're running low settings and FSR
The fact that there is no VISIBLE tyre stretching doesnt mean there is not Tyre Stretching in the physics btw.. in AC! you can see the tyre stretch cause CSP made it visible
honestly, i'd be ok if they give up a bit on the graphics, and really pouring their efforts into perfecting the driving physics and tyre models. Modders can take care of the graphics.
Y'all, this trailer was nothing more than an FMV of some cars driving around. We already have the best driving games a sim racer 20 years ago could imagine on the PC. We are coping to believe AC EVO will come anywhere close to Content Manager with all the bells whistles, cars, tracks, ect. It wont. Be real with yourselves, its fine to anticipate something with hope, but do not be surprised when it doesnt meet your expectations.

it's asseto corsa. be for real guys. modding lengthened the lifespan of the first game long enough to make acc (and beyond!) they'd have to actively want to lose money to not add modding.
…but it's better than BeamNG because the suspension moves just like every other game! It's actually weird that these companies advertise their suspension model so hard considering most suspension is easy and basic to simulate. BeamNG went full hard mode with fluid dynamics in bypass shocks for the extreme off road stuff, but track cars don't use that.
I feel like this will be supported for many many years to come too, even if no mods... should be a lot of content. Personally, I loved getting new little updates with the early access back then. It makes you try out everything and appreciate it more, rather than getting everything all at once.

realistically im not totally sure that the clip we saw demonstrates a downgrade to the tire model, as the mini would naturally be running hard tires and high pressures. That said, the tires in assetto corsa competizione ended up being an endless source of headache for the devs, and were revised over and over and over again. They only had to target two types of tires in that game, and not everybody even LIKES the feeling of driving in ACC after all that work, increased CPU load, and more difficult to get real-life accurate. Kind of ironic that it can be more difficult to get real-life accurate when the model has more fidelity, but that can happen depending on how high your standards are. If your model is super high fidelity and you didn't put much work or study into the cars you replicated, you'll get decent results without as much effort, but if you need it to be nearly indistinguishable from real life, you need to either design a unique model for every use case, or tweak your model until it independently produces accurate results for every use case.
excited for the proper support of 3-wheelers, weather, and the Ioniq tbh lol. the main issue with the original Assetto Corsa is that it was made for basically a single scenario: racing in clear weather with a combustion engine in a regular car. anything more eccentric just wasn't supported properly even using mods.

AC is a game that basically demands the ability for the player to have a peripheral that can provide that fine-grained steering precision.
@@davydave8097 need a bigger place to live, bigger screens than my 17in laptop, a better desk, better chair, etc. Meanwhile I have a controller with rear paddles I use for shifting, clutch, and handbrake, a Hall Effects stick, and Hall Effects triggers with vibration motors that give feedback when losing traction. I am also the only income in my household and barely make enough to keep us afloat. Can't save any money when you can't make enough, and I just want a racing game that is more realistic than Forza that I can enjoy playing. My controller will never perform as well, but I feel a compromise to make the game more accessible to people that just physically can't afford a wheel but still love cars and racing games isn't too much to ask. Besides, for the kind of money it would take, I can just fix up my EP3 Civic and take it to the track.
It is fine its just hard to get the right setup took me one month and watching all videos on yt and they all missed something but i beleive i have best setup for controller i Will post it on yt soon. It feels very natural like in GT games.

watching the video on a larger screen at 4k, yes there are a lot of areas where the game looks very last gen, almost ac1-like. especially the rear/side view mirrors. and a lot of shots just look bad.
I honestly could mostly care less, I like CM better with all the rally stuff, which is what I do and I ain’t abt to wait like years for rally maps, cars, etc to be modded into the game

Gran Turismo is Playstation exclusive, so why not Windows? Youre either a PC or a PS user, and nobody uses Xbox for racing...which is obvious, since Gran Turismo is only on PS.
Big expensive? You can build a good pc for around the price of a PS5, that absolutely dwarfs console performance and will last you 3 or so console generations before needing to be rebuilt. You gotta stop expecting developers to dumb down games to satiate console sales. There are certain games thatll never see console because it would mean a bad finished product. Beam NG will never run on a 9th gen console for this reason.
@@dduleyt why not be macOS compatible at least? this isn't 2014 anymore plenty of people would like to play this game with one of the other consoles or computers they've already spent hundreds or thousands on. this looks cool, but a lot of people won't want to spend a bunch on a bulky and buggy windows tower just for these guys.

The minimum spec for ACE is an RTX 1070! In my region a complete pc with a 1070 is less then a new ps5 on ebay so...
