BMW need to seriously update their V8 gasoline engine. They've been using the same engine since 2008 and it's known to many problems because of the "hot vee".
X3 m40i has really nice design, it looks sharp and sporty even back side looks really good with nice exhaust, I wish bmw made x5 with v8 a bit more sharp like x3m40i, x3m40i has breath taking design - X5 v8 not so much,
X5 needs more sharp and sporty design option( but not only on M competition model with 100k$++) and more leg room in back seats and then would be perfect
$63K, with $5K in options and after common 7% discount is actually really decent.
Looks like it'll be in the running once we're ready to replace our MDX.

No those are mpg figures. I think I mentioned the real consumption in the driving part, if not, it will be in the extended version.
The V8 is around 12 l / 100 km
Lust is a cruel mistress.... the xc90 cannot compete with this interior....
The X5 used to look rugged and masculine, but just like everything nowadays its taken on a feminine design and it looks whimpy! Mercedes new GLE looks awesome with its bold new design, its the best looking SUV out right now. The Mercedes GLE looks like a handsome brute with its rugged look and beefy tires and i am going to trade in my X5 fir the new MB GLE because it looks like a mans truck and not a soccer moms SUV that BMW is currently catering to. Goodbye BMW and hello MERCEDES😁

Most actually think the new GLE looks less aggressive then new X5.
The gle looks less aggressive than the bmw x5
Not sure why you're looking at either vehicle if "masculinity" is your main concern? Many vehicles are more masculine IMO like the new Defender, Range Rover Sport, Grand Cherokee Trailhawk just to name a few.
