Here's a take: Luffy has no iconic attack. Oda literally gives him a new one and goes back to READ OLDER CHAPTERS to remember what moves he gave Luffy. Unlike Kamehameha, which Goku uses at LEAST once per fight. Kamehameha is his iconic attack, Luffy has too many named attacks for any of them to be iconic to people outside of one piece fans. I would say pistol is his most iconic attack, but even pistol has like 10 different forms with different names. So...yeah none of his attacks are gonna be iconic
really good take, but I would say that gatling is his most iconic. and I also agree on the fact that oda gave luffy too many attacks and move variants, like jet gatling and roc gatling.
@jalalbk the point wasn't just luffy has more, it was that they change too often for me to remember half of them. Imo his most iconic is gatling, because that's just a punch barrage and he just changes the name slightly. "Elephant gataling" "jet gataling" ect.
@jalalbkjust because he's evolving it doesn't mean it's the same ability. Same as how Final Flash Kamehameha, bending Kamehameha and the foot-based Kamehameha aren't as iconic as the regular attack. Plus, Goku primarily uses Kamehameha almost every chance he gets, while Luffy just uses whatever move Oda remembers by that point.

The thing that baffles me most about red roc vs kamehameha is that red roc isn’t even Luffy’s iconic attack/powerup. That would be Gear Two, which is far more famous and referenced in media. Still nowhere near kamehameha level popularity, but definitely far far above red roc which is barely even known outside OP fandom.

I haven't watched both DBZ and One piece, I have no idea what Red Roc is, never heard of it, but even when I didn't even know what anime was I knew what Kamehameha was and what it did and who did it, even my parents that know little to nothing about anime know about Kamehameha, just to show how iconic this is.

Small correction on Barragan, he didn't get one-shot by Sui-Feng. Barragan is actually someone that could steamroll the Sternritter, since his entire powerset is about aging, and him being a Hollow by nature would already give him an advantage. Everything, eventually, will rot away and die. It took Hachigen sealing his decaying arm in a Kido barrier and placing it inside Barragan's stomach, turning Senescencia (the official name for his power over aging) against him. Sui-Feng fired multiple shots from her Bankai, with Barragan walking away perfectly fine, and Hachi trapped him inside multiple layers of Kido barriers, to which he destroyed them with ease, since, to quote Barragan, "Even Kido will eventually age and die." While a pretty sizeable amount of the Espada would likely get steamrolled by the Sternritter purely because so many of them (The Sternritter) are given actual god powers and requiring absurd deus ex machina to eventually defeat them (and frankly, even Barragan's defeat had a similar end), Barragan's power is one of the few that is genuinely absolute by sheer comparison to most powers in the series. At least, before all the absurd, bullshit god powers came in with TYBW. Other than that, it was a fun video! I think it was good that you highlighted the idea of these characters learning the power system of the world they're being transported to, because that is something I don't see talked about a lot when it comes to these "MC Isekai" what-ifs. Definitely gonna check out more of your videos in the future!

While I do agree with you the sternritters are superior to the espada there is a small detail I wanted to correct. Barragan didn’t get one shotted by Soi Fon, he tanked that shit, the only reason Barragan lost was because Hachi found a way to use his own power against him.
Ulquiorra is the strongest Espada, we've seen him do better feats than the rest, and he would mid diff low tier Sternritters Such as As Nodt, Mask, I'm basing this from the feats we've seen him do compared to some of the lower sternritters
Maybe I'm just being stubborn (used to powercreep in shonen), but I still am under the assumption that the Espada were essentially captain level from that arc. And that the captains grew stronger over time.
To give espadas credit,shunsui was planning to pop bankai and got stopped by a captain,starrk was pressing shunsui hard.Starrk had to get jumped by 4. Captain level people 2 were vizards with mask on.Shunsui was same str in tybw as well so starrk(in that battle he wasn’t trying)could go toe to toe with base X axis sternritter.(as shunsui was pressing him) Grimmjow only got manhandled by shinji as he didn’t even have his arm so he couldn’t use his cero,sword or res.He lost to ichigo as nnoritora snuck him and had an injured hand.(sternritters still clap espada tho) Barragan died to his own power
how the hell can you see the sternritter cook the soul society without out their bankai (after beating the espada) and be like "get the espada in here, they'll save us ALSO, at this point in the show, kenpachi is soloing the espada because he LITERALLY BEAT SOMEONE WITH THE POWER OF IMAGINATION (although they weren't being smart with it)
They.... They do really forgot what quincy did to Haribell... number third Espada? I would argue they would try much harder to conquest Hueco Mundo with all of the Espada, since they kinda mirror Soul Society, and have much more headache to deal with them since they are supposedly attacking Shinigami after, this would force them to actually split some of their forces (some top Espada are still formidable opponents to deal and maybe worth as special threat). But ultimately much powerful Quincy will end those battles.
Starkk is literally the only espada who could be relevant against the sternritters (there's an argument to be made for Ulquiorra and Barragan but I won't be the one to make it), and even then he is only vaguely above shikai shunsui. Lille solos the other 9 espadas without going god mode. Gerard solos the espadas. Askin solos the other espadas. Pernida well you get my point

Don't get me wrong, as a die hard one piece fan, I can say that whilst the red roc moment was exquisite, it can't compare to the kamehameha. I even remember when I was like 6/7, me and my friend did make believe kamehameha attacks at eachother, and I didn't even know one piece (or any anime for that matter) existed.

I won’t lie, Kenpachi was cooking against the sternritters. He beat 3 of them, including one who TURNED INTO HIMSELF. The only reason he got cooked was because he fought Yhwach Bach (who is potentially the strongest character in the series).
This is not the worst take ever but I saw a comment section on Instagram who had a lot of people say that the girl from Metamorphosis suffered more than Guts did . For those who dont know what Metamorphosis is , it is a h*ntai doujinshi , so dont go searching it up . Ichigo learnt bankai in 2.5 days. It took luffy like 18 months of training WITH THE PIRATE KING’S VICE CAPTAIN to learn *BASIC* haki. Ichigo would learn basic Haki in like 5 hours tops.

Luffy has no iconic attack.
Oda literally gives him a new one and goes back to READ OLDER CHAPTERS to remember what moves he gave Luffy. Unlike Kamehameha, which Goku uses at LEAST once per fight. Kamehameha is his iconic attack, Luffy has too many named attacks for any of them to be iconic to people outside of one piece fans. I would say pistol is his most iconic attack, but even pistol has like 10 different forms with different names. So...yeah none of his attacks are gonna be iconic
really good take, but I would say that gatling is his most iconic. and I also agree on the fact that oda gave luffy too many attacks and move variants, like jet gatling and roc gatling.

Small correction on Barragan, he didn't get one-shot by Sui-Feng. Barragan is actually someone that could steamroll the Sternritter, since his entire powerset is about aging, and him being a Hollow by nature would already give him an advantage. Everything, eventually, will rot away and die. It took Hachigen sealing his decaying arm in a Kido barrier and placing it inside Barragan's stomach, turning Senescencia (the official name for his power over aging) against him. Sui-Feng fired multiple shots from her Bankai, with Barragan walking away perfectly fine, and Hachi trapped him inside multiple layers of Kido barriers, to which he destroyed them with ease, since, to quote Barragan, "Even Kido will eventually age and die."
While a pretty sizeable amount of the Espada would likely get steamrolled by the Sternritter purely because so many of them (The Sternritter) are given actual god powers and requiring absurd deus ex machina to eventually defeat them (and frankly, even Barragan's defeat had a similar end), Barragan's power is one of the few that is genuinely absolute by sheer comparison to most powers in the series. At least, before all the absurd, bullshit god powers came in with TYBW.
Other than that, it was a fun video! I think it was good that you highlighted the idea of these characters learning the power system of the world they're being transported to, because that is something I don't see talked about a lot when it comes to these "MC Isekai" what-ifs. I would argue they would try much harder to conquest Hueco Mundo with all of the Espada, since they kinda mirror Soul Society, and have much more headache to deal with them since they are supposedly attacking Shinigami after, this would force them to actually split some of their forces (some top Espada are still formidable opponents to deal and maybe worth as special threat). But ultimately much powerful Quincy will end those battles.

I think jjk has to be the most overrated current series, I love it, but people are trying to act like it is the second coming of Christ when respectfully the whole series has been on a consistent downward trend
I don't know if I agree completely on it being on a downward trend, but if people are acting like it's like all time top 2 or something, they bugging. I can anticipate the downward trend being apparent in the recent manga chapters if Gege really wants to end it and just rush the ending
I can totally see some Bleach fans thinking Arrancar arc Bankai Ichigo is stronger than Fullbring Bankai Ichigo because they'd see him not pulling out the Hollow Mask anymore and think "Oh he got nerfed after Mugetsu".
I'd say they'd be ignoring everything that happened in the Fullbring arc, but clearly these would be the same people that would skip that arc thinking it was filler/boring.

Ichigo learnt bankai in 2.5 days. It took luffy like 18 months of training WITH THE PIRATE KING’S VICE CAPTAIN to learn *BASIC* haki. Ichigo would learn basic Haki in like 5 hours tops.
