- Chair Yoga 28 Day Series - Some Seated, More Standing. In today’s practice, we’ll explore poses for our 28 day journey including standing Tree pose. You’ll only need a chair for today’s class.
Welcome to Bottoms Down Chair Yoga. I’m Carol and I’m happy you’ve chosen to spend this time together to stretch, lengthen and strengthen your body.
This 29 minute yoga practice is day 20 of our 28 day yoga journey together. Join us as we build our practice from the ground up. We warm up gently and center our work on our breath and mindful movements to build strength and improve focus.
You’ll only need a chair. We’ll start seated and move to a standing position and return to seated.

My friend introduced me to Bottoms Down while vacationing on Oahu. We practiced 18 consecutive sessions and commited to continuing when we returned home. Oops; I slacked for 2 days but today enjoyed day 19. I love the program and think I'm feeling the results. Thank you Carol; see you tomorrow for day 20.

Highly recommend this challenge. I have always wanted to learn yoga, but knew my balance issues wouldn't allow me to. This class is such a joy to come to each day. I feel inches taller and stronger in my core and balance. A lot of my aches and pains have gone away, and I no longer feel like an aging person when I get out of bed in the morning. Thank you Carol for your videos.

Thanks so much for the videos! I am 77 years old, pretty active but noticed that I was a little "stiff". This series has helped me so much. I haven't missed a day and hope to find other videos when I finish on the 28th day!

I have had more stiffness in my body than I thought and this 20 days have really been helpful. I do the stretches every night 1/2 or so before I sleep. Helps SO much, thank you, Carol!

During todays session I thought of something. If you had a camera 90 deg side view, that would show your back in relationship to the chair. That way you wouldn't have to step out from behind the chair to illustrate. You could use a spilt screen or PIP to show. I'm really enjoying these. Thank you.
Great minds think alike. We are working on exactly that. We have purchased another camera and my husband, who works all of the technology for Bottoms Down, is busy learning how to use it and the new software. See you tomorrow.

Bend me shape me anyway you want me long as you guide me it's alright...... Sorry, I'm singing to you. I know it's serious work and it has a lot to do with our physique but it's not easy for me- but beieve me, afterall the rigidity i have at 71, I'm trying my level best swirling and swaying as much as i can taking precaution not to fall but mind you I enjoy doing your exercises because now and then you make it amusing and that helps me continue. thank you.
