  • Weight Loss - Seated. In today’s practice, we’ll explore poses including a crescent lunge with knee lift series to get your body moving and engage your body’s natural fat burning capability. You’ll only need a chair for today’s class.
    Welcome to Bottoms Down Chair Yoga. I’m Carol and I’m happy you’ve chosen to spend this time together with me warming up to stretch, lengthen and strengthen your body.
    This 30 minute yoga for weight loss is a fat burning yoga workout that will move your body, sweat & burn calories. We warm up gently and center our work on our breath and mindful movements to build strength and boost your body’s own fat burning system.
    You’ll need a chair for today’s class. We’ll stay seated the entire time.

    That was very challenging, but also very effective. I love how you devote time each session to the neck and shoulders, as that is where all my tension is bottled. Namaste.

    Great class - another challenging crescent lunge series for me this week. :) I had to work on keeping my front foot down as we did the knee lift series. Working on gaining strength and toning my body. Thank you!

    Happy new year! Loved this. It looks like you are going through and re-recording oldies in your new format and studio, but maybe I am just way out of whack with what is actually currently new or formerly new as this is currently saying 2years old…. Whatever, I do love the studio, your soothing voice, and sip water in addition to the active movement, balanced by deep stretching. I need to start earlier in the morning so I have time to do the longer videos for full benefit.

      lol I swear I saw and did a couple videos that were just a few days old but now I searched and see that all if them were at least many months old so I’ll just float with the universe and count my blessings. Terhee😅

      My husband, who does all the behind the scenes camera and post-production, were gone for an extensive amount of time recently. It prevented us from filming a new series for the start of the year. So I repurposed some oldies but goodies for this challenge. I hope you like going around the body in 30 days!

      Update. I started last Friday on a mission to lose 10#. I lost 5# in the first week doing Carol’s weight loss classes. Not much change in diet except for portion size and between meals snacking, and drinking more water. So I am going to try to lose another 5#. Thank you, Carol!
