  • Chair Yoga 28 Day Series - Some Seated, More Standing. In today’s practice, we’ll explore poses for our 28 day journey including standing leaning Mountain pose with Goddess arms. You’ll only need a chair for today’s class.
    Welcome to Bottoms Down Chair Yoga. I’m Carol and I’m happy you’ve chosen to spend this time together to stretch, lengthen and strengthen your body.
    This 30 minute yoga practice is day 21 of our 28 day yoga journey together. Join us as we build our practice from the ground up. We warm up gently and center our work on our breath and mindful movements to build strength and improve focus.
    You’ll only need a chair. We’ll start seated and move to a standing position and return to seated.

    The standing pose with our eyes shut and moving backwards, forwards and side to side was so restful, I felt like I was floating :)

    Completed day 21. I really liked the standing tree poses tonight!! Felt really good and also benefiting from the lower back stretches because I have had lower back disc issues since I was young !! SEE you tomorrow

    I love rag doll. I skipped 2 days with house guest but still did bike ride each day and stretches throughout the day. Feels so good!… oh, and the closed eyes leaning slightly each direction with toe work,.. loved that and will try to remember to practice that every once in a while!

    Hi Carol, Just wanted to say how much I love your classes. I have herrington rods that are fused to my spine from T3-L4 with your classes I have been able to get stretches and twists that haven't been done in almost 20 years. I can only do the number 1 for most of the back stretches but boy has it helped me start moving again. Thank you!

    I have been dealing with back and neck injuries for a few weeks but I am back...gently. I'm going to finish the 28 days! Still loving it.

      Ha! It just comes from doing yoga. You too will improve your flexibility and you are doing a great job with consistent practices. That is the key to achieving improvement. Keep it up!
