Immediate sub here. Came from the chest workout with Jay Cutler. Gotta love those leg workouts when you head to the toilet the next day and say, it can wait another day or 3. This accomplished that.
For me I’ve always really loved supersetting leg curls with Romanian deadlifts, that always used to destroy my hamstrings. I like only going up on Romanian dead’s 80% of the way as well John it absolutely fried the hamstrings

Love your channel! I'm stepping up my leg training by incorporating more heavier sets throughout the workout instead of just with 1 or 2 lifts, and I can already tell a difference. Always been a fan of drop sets, but adding in partials and ISO holds with them is a game changer.

I used to get the most PAINFUL hamstring cramps any time I'd do these. So I eased into it doing low weight, high reps. Now I can work to the point of failure without any cramps.

I did! How would you suggest working on the posterior chain effectively when I’ve had a laminectomy at L4/L5 S1? I used to to very strong in my posterior chain (glutes/hams/low back) but if I’m not extremely careful I can throw my back out very easily. It’s extremely frustrating and disappointing. I feel sometimes that I can’t lift the way I want to. Any advice would be greatly appreciated😊

Your track story! Love it! Reminded me of the smokin hot dentist I had as a kid. She used to have her, "you know" pushed up on the side of my arm/shoulder while working on my teeth. As a teenager, needless to say, I didnt mind getting my teeth worked on!

Glad to see there is such thing as leg curl machnes that use plate weights. I am about to max out the leg curl machines at my gym. I'm too fat/weak for the Glute Ham raise --- Need a resistence level between those two.
Looks like just routine I need to target my glutes.. thanks for the tip on going heavier vs. light and which muscle group takes over. I will keep that in mind
