Still coming back to this channel for new and old content alike. John was truly a gift.
John was the best teacher I've ever seen. Sorely missed. Thank you for getting the content out there.
Loved this guy. Very knowledgeable, down to Earth, and great family guy.
Please keep his post running.
John being gone is a massive blow to the industry . His information was pure gold
Thank God some of it was recorded for posterity!
I love and miss Mr. Meadows… please please keep this going and alive.
Thanks for keeping the legend ALIVE… his legacy lives on… thanks for your service
I’ve run several of John’s programs after making the jump from PL… they always look relatively “easy” on paper but holy smokes.. the stimulus to fatigue ratio is also superb. See you beyond the pearly gates Mr. Meadows!
What do you mean by PL

Right before I’m going to go hit legs. LETS GOO 💪🏽
Amazing leg workout struggled to walk after John is an absolute inspiration amazing teacher explains everything very sadly missed so glad the powers that be have continued his amazing legacy
I learnt so much from John and continue to get benefit from his advice. Hope his legacy can continue to live on
This Angel keeps on giving. ❤❤❤
Had a bad ear infection a while back and never fully regained my balance so squats are very hard if not impossible for me. This video is a godsend and I will be trying out the routine tonight!
This man was such a pleasure to watch and to learn from. I am sad that he passed, but his videos continue. He was not full of himself, he was sincere and candid and honest, and was to a great extent, humble. His videos were made on a one-to-one: just you and him. He was not projecting his information to an audience. His videos were intimate, just to one person at a time, though thousands watched him.
So glad this channel is still posting content. Always quality info, expertly explained. You’re greatly loved & missed John x
Hands down the best weight liftinf/body building coach out there
Great wisdom and passion, thank you for everything.
Keep spreading the wisdom 💪👏🙌
Never stop these videos of this great man and trainer deeply missed
Love you John meadows. Thanks for the legacy and content you left behind.
RIP MOUNTAIN DOG! YOU ARE MISSED BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN! THANK YOU FOR ALL THE FITNESS INFORMATION!💪💪
Love you John thank you for bringing us this wisdom
Thank you for posting these videos
I did this work out recently and included two sets on the leg press. My legs hurt for 5 days 😂. Such a game changer if you want to mix things up.
For anyone else who struggles with chronic knee pain like I have, I recommend finding a leg extension machine that you can adjust to where your knee starts at an obtuse angle (>90 degree bend)
Stay in the range just before it hurts for 10-60 seconds isometrically and work your way back to full range pain free over time
Thank u John, thank u Mountain Dog family, I'm off for a workout
Thank you so much we need a lot of video like this wait for more.
Great respect John, he was a real gentleman
Mountaindog lives forever💙

God I miss that man.
Whoever is keeping this channel going, THANK YOU.
Love this guy, RIP , so sad to early .
Rest easy John. God bless you and your family
This is great. Squats and DL get boring after awhile and can cause back issues.
The best trainer on TH-cam!
Miss you John!
Thanks buddy
Training from heavens
Much love, buddy ❤
johns training advice was so on point…
Perfect timing! Today is my secondary leg day!
Whats that?
@@himjyotigoswami3027 my second leg day of the week ….it’s called a pump day…I have a heavy day…then a pump day…
John doing basically a HIT workout. Note how he instantly adjusts volume as well as regeneration time after training just the same way it is being done in HIT. He still amazes me to this day. RIP John.

I moved to front squats a few years ago. After three years , finally got comfortable. I’m up to about half of my rear squats. Maximizes tension on quads as opposed to back, hip flexors and hams. Increases your mobility. Stay in the pockets too
The fitness internet's great dad ❤
Rest in peace legend, I know you’re still cranking iron up there.
dang i miss this guy!!!
Wonderful
Anyone have thoughts on replacing the lunges with Bulgarian split squats? Kind of a lack of walking room at my gym.
John had awesome legs
All these videos of John coming out makes me think for a second he never really left us 😢
Awesome
Trap bar deadlift is fuckin amazing…favorite workout.
💪
This is called rest-pause and it is toughhhhhh. Great high intensity technique for hypertrophy
I do feel he made this video for myself and others who had back surgeries and have herniated discs, issues. He cared about people and I’m so thankful for his videos and advice he gave me on Instagram. I am now shredded, and my shoulders and back grew nicely from his teachings. I am now debating HRT since I’m 42 just to help bring me some quality of life back. Because being really lean and natural kind of sucks at 42 years old lol Thank you John for everything!!❤❤❤
Hrt causes blood clots be careful especially if you got Covid vac
Mate , I’m having disc problems at 16 it’s not looking good for me at all. I’ll suspect herniations but honestly I don’t know. So I’m very fearful of deadlifts and even squats.
🙏❤
Leg Day!!!
❤
Continue resting in peace champ😢
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Tom Platz “No” 😂
looks pretty intense
RIP
All you gotta do is spam curls and extensions, especially if you’ve already built a solid foundation for your legs
This ignores the portions of hamstrings, quads and psoas which connect to the pelvis not to mention glutes. But to your point, just adding a third movement to these two machines can go a long way
And you'll have no glutes and you'll look like a fool
It's ok....keep rotating them videos, it's more than welcome
He back from the dead!
8:01 I would say the Nordic hamstring curl is the most underrated exercise for the hammies
Facts one of the goats
Rest in peace OG
I thought after he said don't fear. He was going to say John is here.
Rip boss
he will be missed always
922. Tom Platz would like to protest this video heeheehee.
if you cant get to a gym or dont want to go but want to maintain do sissy squats, i do 2 sets of 15 reps my legs stay alive for when or if i return to the gym
🎉🎉✌✌👍👍
Miss you Legend. 🥲❤️
And then a 15 sec iso hold. Maybe ten sec. Well five will do
ArriiHiEvryBody!!! 👋🏼
Your knees on that pendulum squat look like they are going to fold back😮
Thought his knees were gonna fold on thoes pendulum presses
I miss the Big Guy.
I'm not sure if it's any good, I find T-posing holds the bar well enough. I can't do close grips
It's like he never left us...
The unending mysticism of The Devil is; is when there is none, the absolute fury of The Bhaktivatar Father Family descend upon us on Gaiam Earth.
Cause of death ?
And then........calves...because we do calves every day!
No Squats needed!? Tom Platz disagrees ;)
