SV Parlay is a hurricane damaged Lagoon 450 catamaran, which Colin rebuilt with friends and has started sailing around the world. They found bulkhead damage on their catamaran in Panama, so have fixed her up, and are almost ready to cross the Pacific Ocean!!

Having to say goodbye is definitely something I hate. You have to say goodbye so many times, much too often. That is the drawback of your sailing life.

One week ago, we were crossing the bay, heading back to the marina after a day of swimming/watching fishes. I said to my wife "how lucky and privileged we are". Our baby step of pleasure.

Hi Colin , I’ve loved watching your u tube channel from start to now. Very cool. I had a desire to tell you my story.
I started watching when i woke up in ICU ward in Northmead hospital in parramatta sydney after having a dirtbike accident braking 10 ribs ,punched lunges & collapsed lungs, also shattered collar bone. Happy to be alive. Oh airlifted to hospital to 🤒. I kept on waking up on life support with tube to puff my lungs up unable to talk so i wrote on a notepad to communicate with everyone around my meanwhile in a lot of pain. But the i found your channel. It was quite amazing that when i was watching episode after episode i found myself on the ocean with you guys. THANKYOU. Keep it up , maybe if you can make the episodes a little longer. I want more👍

I have had a wonderful life, but the one thing missing is being able to sail off into the sunset. You have worked so hard for this, now is your time to enjoy all you worked for. Please stay safe.
To insure the strength of that Head Sail repair, you can paint all the webbing and Dyneema with thinned epoxy. The last few inches may not lay flat when furled, but the sail body will fail before the treated repair...And, do you have a good sail repair kit? Needles, a palm, synthetic cord, bees wax etc...A must for an open ocean crossing...

Thank you Brother Colin... Step 1 taken ... The following is an inspection and survey report performed on “COMPASS ROSE”, a 1999 Tayana 52 - Yes, I bought her.
When I used to troll for fish in deep water. I would put a sinker on the line above the lure around a foot and that will sink the lure a lot deeper giving you a better chance of catching bigger fish. Including larger tuna and definitely a better chance at marlin. 👍👍🍺🍺
If you follow your intuition and heart, that means feeling every choice then you do not need luck, you are in the flow and life is good! That was for Colleen :) Love all you guys, a little jealous.

To save fuel when you must motor, do it with the main sail up it creates its own wind when moving aids the engine, and saves burning more fuel than you need to. That is what I do if I need to motor, SV Skoiern IV. As always great video Keep up the adventure to the unknown,.

But for now I learn, watch, study, ask questions and live vicariously through you and those like you. Enjoy life as it comes, as I used to tell my students, "Life is short, but the journey is long", (AD), so you never have enough time so enjoy and cherish the time you have.
