- This is the first ever behind the scenes episode of below deck where I interview every cast member about their experiences on the show, and also some of the production team about what its like behind the scenes of below deck sailing. We talk about what it was like for Captain Glenn to have to let go of certain crew members, and the disastrous ordeal of having the Superyacht end up on the beach in Menorca, Spain.

Colin, after following the Parlay channel for so long, and also watching Below Deck, I have to say you have always represented yourself in a great manner.. With Below Deck, we all know that any little thing they can highlight, they will, and the very fact that there are no real embarrassing scenes involving you is a testament to how you handle yourself. Keep up the good work!

A couple years ago I tore my achilles tendon. Laying on the couch I started watching below deck. I never felt so dirty but couldn't stop watching. Love the shows and Parlay.
I’m really hoping Daisy, Gary, Marco all are back this upcoming season!! Loved Marco and his amazing cooking!! I realize though he opened his restaurant so… and of course Colin and Captain Glen!! By far Below Deck Sailing is my Favorite 💞💞💞🥂

I absolutely love Captain Glenn, I’ve been watching for years and years & come from a F& B , Management background which is probably why I appreciate him so much. He’s someone who would be fun & fair to work for or to work for you. The employees & passengers love him too. I hope he starts doing his own channel, it will do great from the beginning, would be my opinion. (And of course his “Colin” connection!)
Perfect, as someone who had a short stint in the charter trade, Antigua, St Martin, etc, I knew it was all real, just slighted distorted into a tv show. And it’s brilliant. Colin, you always came across to us as one of the most levelheaded guys aboard. Follow you from the beginning and we’ll follow you around the world. Good on ya mate!
Colin, Regarding your comment about having the traits that Glenn shows in how you run your boat. On Parlay, it is VERY apparent that, even though you are fun and easy going, there are responsibilities and rules. You take safety very seriously and you take the responsibility of running your boat seriously and you are an incredible teacher to those who want to learn. You are respected and yet you treat others with respect also. There is definitely nothing you need to change there.
The thing that I find amazing is that you can do that show and still have a channel, which is one of my absolute favorites, and has continuity ! You really ave no idea that Colin is doing this other show, other job, other career. If it wasn't for these episodes to remind us of that we would think Parlay was it ! for most of us it is definitely it. We love Parlay !

The sailing is definitely my favorite version of the show by far. You, Daisy, Glenn, Gary, Marco were all just too fun and real. Hope you make a bunch on the next season and you get to make some more upgrades to your catamaran as well.

This is CATHARTIC for me! Big fan, Colin is one of the few truly good guys.
I was a yacht crew in the 60's and the antics are a bit tamer than those I experienced, it seems to be much more professional these days. Whilst skippering a survey vessel in Scotland I woke to the rumbling of the anchor chain as it dragged across the seabed, shot up to the wheelhouse to find the decky on watch totally oblivious to the fact that we were dragging back towards a rocky shore. Luckily I managed to keep enough power on to hold us off the rocks whilst the engineer and crew hauled the anchor which was fouled on an old steel hawser, that took ages to clear before we could reposition. It always seems these things happen in the early hours of the morning in of course a gale of wind, pitch black and hissing with rain. Happy days Collin and thanks for the behind the scenes.

I really hope the whole season 3 crew can come back one day and do a season together . Because this crew was definitley one of the best random pairings I’ve seen . You can’t have one person without the other. Definitely loved this season & will hope for a season where they bring everyone back because I will definitely watch that lol

Colin! I love you. I was a stew back in the early 90's and I would have loved to have had you on my crew in the Caribbean and Latin America. We didn't have cell phones back then so had more anonymity but the long hours, drama, antics and letting off steam in exotic ports is all the same. Truly some defining years in my life. Much love!
