    I know you probably won’t see this since you posted two years ago, but I really had an emotional breakthrough. I usually skip shavasana or I always keep my eyes open-this is more relaxing and restorative than closing my eyes, because the trauma in my life is immense and the bad thoughts and memories come. I’m a Christian, and I often pray or commune with God when I do yoga and really focus on being in the present moment and the sensations of my body and sound of my breath. To me, the voice of God is complete and utter silence, a peaceful stillness that blocks out the noise of the world and my mind.
    Today, I felt so good and relaxed after this class, and I felt compelled to close my eyes. I heard the words, “See God in me.” And I closed my eyes, and felt at peace. I cried because I felt so safe. Thank you. ❤

    Yoga is about mindfulness and focus. It’s hard to find instructors who don’t speak and distract unnecessarily, but Kassandra doesn’t do that. She gives enough instruction while allowing for silence and calm.

    Hi Kassandra, I'm just before finishing my yoga teacher training, I just need to submit my final practice exam that consists of a 60min yoga class. I practiced it today for the first time and, oh boy, is it hard. Teaching seems so easy as a yoga student but behind that must be a loooot of practice. My biggest respect for you for being such a great teacher. I hope one day I will be one as well.

      Hi Constanze. I am in the same place - just qualified and so worried to start to teach because its so harder than it looks - all the planning and preparation that goes in to each class - how to remember the sequence etc. Good luck with your final assessment.

    i don’t really comment on any youtube videos but i just wanted to put this out there that this class is my all time favourite on youtube, i have done it so many times and i never get sick of it, its a perfect suffix to accompany more intensive practice or just as a calming gratitude flow, like frrrrr recommend this and kassandra is a really creative teacher also a sweetie!

    From past few weeks I have been feeling lost- like I was lost in noise.
    I couldn't bring myself to do Yoga or meditation properly though I knew that's how I can sit with myself truly.

    I remember vividly when I started my yoga journey 2 years ago I was so betrayed by this video being called "stretch and relax". I was like, "But it has all those lunging poses, those are so hard!" Honestly I was beginning to believe that yoga just wasn't for me, but I kept at building my strength and flexibility, and now this is the perfect relaxing flow on a hot summer day before hopping in a cold shower.     I would absolutely love more 30 min evening flows like this. Ive tried doing 2 of the shorter ones but I usually end up doing this one 5 of 7 nights a week and change a few here and there to mix it up. I absolutely love following you and really hope I can come close to being as good of an instructor as you are! I should finish up the written part in the next couple weeks and be ready to record my 60 min video.

    OMG just did it and LOVED it!!! I feel so flexible, it’s crazy! I usually only do 10 mins in the morning and night! But this is the first time that I’ve done like a 30 minute longer yoga flow, and I’m going to make an appoint at least 2 to 3 times a week to do a longer yoga flow because it makes me feel so good! 😊🙏🧘🏼‍♀️ I said this morning that I was going to do it and guess what I did it!

    THIS IS EVERYTHING I NEED IN A YOGA CLASS!!! - Can be done anytime of the day, perfect balance of stretching within the body, more unique stretches that aren’t in every single other “stretch and relax” practice, and perfect length without being repetitive!!

    That was perfect! Absolutely perfect. I had leg day yesterday so, they appreciated it. Also, my belly is too full to go to bed, so the slightly more active version of "Evening Yoga" was right on.
