FUN fat-burning WALKING Workout | ~ 2,000 Steps in 17 Minutes (1MILE) Walk to The Beat! (Low-Impact)

  • Healthy adults move an average of 10,000 steps a day. With walking / step workouts, you can get all of your steps in right at home!
    The average person can walk a mile in about 2,000 steps.
    This fat-burning, fun walking workout will get you to just under 2,000 steps in 17 minutes. This one goes quickly! You'll walk to the beat, and there are cues for the upcoming movements, so you'll never feel lost. Even though you're only stepping, this routine is still intense enough to make you break a sweat!
    Full disclosure: this was a repeatedly requested workout, so I made it, but I felt really embarrassed while filming this. This is the kind of workout I'd typically shut myself in a bedroom to do, but this time I filmed it and uploaded it on the internet! I did so for three reasons:
    1) I made this because a subscriber named Warde Cell asked me to make it.
    2) I want to hold a walking club with the senior citizens who live in my new neighborhood every Monday morning, and this feels like a good first step.
    3) If you look at the top left corner of your screen, you'll see a step-counter. I had to manually cut and type in each numbered step. It took me a full day and a half to edit it, so there was no way I was going to toss this video after doing that.

    I love this, as someone who is trying to repair their disordered relationship with exercise, this felt like an easy way to commit to wellness without being triggering. I had a really bad depression day and this lifted me right out of it. Please do more like this if you can

    I usually don't comment on a lot of videos but I wanted to let you know how grateful I am for this video. As someone who gets very anxious when going on walks or runs alone this is very much appreciated. It was super fun and time flew by so fast even after multiple rounds.. I will def do this daily so my daily step count doesn't have to suffer anymore haha. Thank you so much for your effort!

    Since you uploaded this, I have literally done this every day as a treat to myself on rest days or even after doing some of your more intense workouts. I am obsessed!     Counter Hack - there are some gadgets / apps that you can push each time you do a step. The computer will register the counter. Maybe you can set the font to the one you use, and screen record that counter. Then when you edit, you can put that counter and sync it. Maybe you can get a small bluetooth signal sender from amazon if you don't have something small you can hold during your video that will send a signal. Should save you hours if you can remember to click it each time :). Good luck!

    I loved this ! I would love to see more of these kinds of workouts. I like how you danced a little and used your arms as well it looked like you were having fun and I had fun doing it!     This Video saved my day during a time in which I nearly could not move at all. It was my Main Motivation to get up and after it no pain meditation was necessary. I had a disc herniation which was very painful. I can just recommend this Video 100% and I still do it if i just want to include movement and a good mood into my working day. I know there are loads of walking workouts on youtube but yours really stand out with your choice of music (which is fantastic!!!) and i also like that they’re really chill! Its like a therapeutic 20 min walk to get my steps up! And there’s no need for a step counter, we all trust that it is however many steps you say it is

    I liked it. Because on days there is a lot of mental anxiety. You can just follow walking or modify to include other steps as well. Gives it a platform to make it as you like. I added bunch of squat shuffles and quick feet and various other arm movements. I think I walked more and got a sweaty workout. So thank you! :)
