This reminds me of the LG UltraGear 27GL83A monitor that I got for a pretty good deal in 2022 (around $200 USD new). I haven't had any issues with its performance or anything. Granted, it only goes to 144 Hz, so the KTC has it slightly beat in that regard. The price is also a little bit lower. But it is really cool to see that 1440p is becoming more accessible at lower price points.
Wow :O This is the first monitor review i've seen from you, but this was a very deep analysis. Thank you for this video, i'd like to see more monitor reviews from you like this!
The fact you can get (some regions) a decent 1440p high refresh experience is great to see and the reason why the past few years were seeing a moderate uptake of 1440p monitors. Great to see a very good general consumer review Kryzzp 🥰🙂↕💪😇👍
I can't believe they've become so affordable! I remember a few years ago paying 300€ for a used 1440p TN monitor. Now we got brand new monitors that are way better quality, for half the price! 😃
Great in-depth review, thanks for making it. I ended up snagging one off Amazon for only $200 CAD a few months ago during Black Friday. Found it difficult to get the Displayport cable plugged in but otherwise been loving it. Image is great and I feel safe in saying 180hz is plenty unless you're a hardcore competitive player. Been using it with the Advanced Overdrive setting at 180hz where the overshoot is very minor and it hasn't caused any weird visuals that I've noticed yet, but that might just be because I don't know what to look for. Still, getting such low latency at 180hz feels great.

I just bought an Acer M3bmiiprx with identical specs (and pricing) as this and it leads me to believe it's the same panel. I've been very happy with mine plus you can adjust the height and swivel. Great review and it's amazing you can buy a 27" 1440p 180hz monitor these days for $200. 5 years ago you'd have to sell the wife (and a couple of the kids) to afford something like this.
Hey Man, just wanted to say thanks to you. I've been watching your videos for a long time and gathering information about PC and benchmarking. Today I built my first gaming PC on my own with a I5-12400F, 16GB DDR4 ram and a used GTX 1060 6GB. It's all thanks to you that I learned about PC stuffs , keep up the good content man and also for my sake please try GTX 1060 in 2024 :) Also can I get pinned?
I’ve had this for about 6 weeks and I love it, so happy you reviewed it because KTC deserves some flowers. Great video! Do you think their 27” OLED 1440p model is worth the extra $400 over this? Might turn this into my 2nd monitor and get the OLED too
The OLED is great, not worth 400$ more in my opinion (because this is insane value and actually a good quality IPS) but it's a well priced OLED! If you're looking for a premium experience, it's worth it 🙂
@SUYASHBGMI if you are asking what it is. You shouldn't look into it in my opinion. OLED has been in the ps vita so. Yeah. Continue saving your money.
I ordered KTC H27T22, I believe it has tilts & swivel plus it's close in terms of specs/performance to this model. Excited to try it out when it arrives!
very minimal design, spec difference. I would recommend the one I mentioned since it has the ability to tilt and raise/lower monitor. I have been using it for months now and it is the best at this price no doubt@@mr.pangetako
Just ordered H27T22S for $120, I've seen enough review and the only downsides is the warranty, only 3 months for the panel and 3 years for service, well considering the price, I'd be happy if it last at least a year
BTW Kryzzp, how about revisiting an RX 6700 XT/6750XT? I want to upgrade my GTX 1660 Ti finally and 6700s been looking pretty juicy (on top of that I want to alleviate some CPU bottleneck by going AMD)

I recently bought the Acer Nitro XV271U M3 monitor , it's also a 27' 1440p 180hz IPS monitor, but one thing that I cannot understand is how can it can actually do 1440p at 180hz because it has a DP 1.2 connector, and as far as I've looked, DP 1.2 isn't able to put out 1440p at 180hz . So I've checked if it was actually running at 180 Hz / fps in videogames and it was, so it's not like it's 1440p 165hz or something . So either the games show 180 fps and all apps recognize it as 180 Hz but it's not actually running at 180 but my eyes can't see it so i think it's running at 180 but it's maybe running at 165 or 144 OR Acer somehow for some reason got their description wrong and it is DP 1.4 . Is there any way to check / test that?
I have the 4k version. Its ok. But you cannot mount it to a vesa mount... unless you have many sizes of rc car screws :( it doesnt come with screws. But the monitor can go up down and 180 on the stand i dont use.
