    Theres a little mistake; a higher colour gamut doesn't necessarily mean higher colour accuracy. It CAN indeed reproduce the colour more accurately, but some might still need to be calibrated, especially lower budget monitor might come out of the factory with a colour shift toward either red, green or blue. Delta E is the measure used to represent the monitor's colour accuracy.

    The whole pixel density vs. monitor size spiel is based on view distance. You don't want a monitor too close or else you suffer parallax issues (your left and right eyes see the monitor from sufficiently different angles to cause discomfort and dizziness). Otherwise, it's up to personal preference.

    27" is good for gaming too. It ALL depends on the distance between you and the monitor. It's the same having a 27" at 70cm distance like a 24" at 40cm distance.

    • @SapiaNt0mata
      @SapiaNt0mata 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      yes, but not for competitive games cause it's bigger and you have to look in a bigger distance and this is a disadvantage. also 27" is not good for all resolutions. it's good only for 1080p. for 1440p and 4k it's not the recommended. it's meh. it is usable but it's not the ideal. for 1440p the ideal size is 27" and for 4K 32" and above.

    • @tobiasz9159
      @tobiasz9159 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@2dividedby393 You don't understand it. The disadvantage that he was probably reffering to is that a greater distance you have to your monitor can cause a problem with noticing small details. That's why most pro gamers are glued to their screen. They want to be as close to the screen as possible but equally they want to see everything and not move eyes too much so choosing 27 is not an option. COMe ON every player who plays competitive knows that!!!!!!

    As a consumer it is also important to know the life cycle of the product. Two monitors might have the same specs but one of the two is cheaper bc it has a lower life cycle. Which actually makes it more expensive. But consumers are often not aware of that.

Also significant, IPS is the best decision for gamers because of fast movement in games. Here it is important to use correct settings in the monitor, you can make big mistakes, which leads to a lot of bad ratings on Amazon for example. OLED require less power to run versus leds because they aren’t backlit like leds
      They have great picture quality and contrast ratios
      They have great response times and are available in up to 240 hz

      But they have big disadvantages
      They have a much shorter life time compared to led screens
      They are less durable then leds water and humidity can damage them much easier
