    Nice! i did the same thing years ago, but once the engine warms up the idle went way too low. So what I did is add a simple manual open/close air valve from most hardware store.

    Where does that coolant line go ? The one right below the called off vacuum line

    On my 4age swapped ae100 the revs climb to 3k on start up for a about 2 seconds then it drops to the normal high idle,I tried cleaning out the iacv but I'd done nothing.Have you ever seen this happen before by any chance?

      Completely normal

      It's not normal,I have had plenty of 4age 20v and never seen them rev up to over 3k on start up,you can hear the tappets rattle when started from cold

      I have the same problem! It revs up until 3k for about 2 seconds, how do i fix or find the problem?

    having problems with the check engine. since i already replaced the "iacv" sensor still the "2-4" blink is not removed while checking with TE1 and E1

      If I am not mistaken, flash code 24 is for the intake air temperature sensor not the idle air control valve.
