    I didn't realize all this work was pre-karnival, thought you had had to re-do it since, mad attention to detail. I saw you there. I had the Ae82.

      Oh yes I do remember you in the AE82. I done all this throughout this year and CARnival was my goal to have my engine built and run in for the event, just making and releasing videos now as I was too busy to make the videos previously to the event.

    Found the same thing running in my engine, first oil change at 200ks was really metallic then became less and less till about 3000ks where it's completely normal now

      Thats good, yeah alot of filings come off but good to examine for piece of mind nothing terrible is happening inside. How many kms have you done on your engine now?

    Love the attention to detail on this build. Very jealous. I've got a carib with a 20v blacktop. Just wondering if u have messed around with ignition timing on urs? If so what have u set it at?

    • @4AGEEDGarage
      @4AGEEDGarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sorry for the late reply. Thanks and that's cool about your Carib. My timing is set to factory specs from the manual. Did a bit of research on changing it but in the end not much benefits altering it unless bigger cams and other mods

    Hey man, what size hosing did you use for your oil catch can? and where did you buy them from? thanks. awesome build!

    • @4AGEEDGarage
      @4AGEEDGarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, I can't quite remember, might be 8mm internal diameter. I took the old breather hose into the shop to match up and brought oil/fuel rated hose from a shop called Para Rubber in New Zealand. Problem was the fittings on my catch can were larger than the outlets on the cam cover, so I had to heat them to soften and push on the catch can fittings.
      Thanks, really happy with it and still going strong.

    Guide me about air temperature sensor connections and how to clean blacktop all throttle ??

    • @4AGEEDGarage
      @4AGEEDGarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Air temp sensor is connected to factory plug and is near strut brace.
      If throttles are off the car, wd40 with a brush, brake/parts cleaner.
      It was all shown in my last video

    Really nice build. Did you need to add a heat shield between the exhaust header and radiator?

    • @4AGEEDGarage
      @4AGEEDGarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey thanks, no I didn't add a heat shield as I cut the mounts off the stock exhaust manifold.

    Can you please send me a link as to where you got your Technica front bumper lip for the ae92. Thank you!

    • @4AGEEDGarage
      @4AGEEDGarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey, I got it off ebay so you will need to search on there, the lip is a universal one which needs to be cut to length.
      Hope that helps

    I have the same set up but on a Celica ST, only issue is check engine light throwing code 4-2 (speed sensor) just like you. Did you find any solution to get rid of it?

    • @4AGEEDGarage
      @4AGEEDGarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No I haven't found the solution, have checked the speed sensor wire that goes into speedo and seems to be fine. My rev limit still goes to 8200rpm and isn't restricted as they say happens when the speed sensor is disconnected. Hopefully one day I find the problem

      @@4AGEEDGarage sweet, I have a Silvertop with blacktop ecu conversion, drives fine and redlines to 8k all day but the check engine light randomly appears showing speed sensor. It comes and goes, if u find a solution pls lemme know

    Where did you buy the engine? Is it available locally in your country?

    • @4AGEEDGarage
      @4AGEEDGarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I brought another AE111 Levin which I removed this engine from and I put the 20v into this AE92. Alot of work involved as can be seen in previous videos of my swap

      Good job bro... We don't have locally released 4age in my country but good thing we have imported surplus available 😂.. You can visit my channel too and see our 4age 20v setup.. Cheers!!
