    Never floor the matt area unless your planning on removing the sills dryimg everything, now the vehicle has trapped water under the rubber floor full of wiring and it will corrode the floor and possibly cause electrical problems. Saves you laundry but causes the customer issues down the road.

    Was the Enviro Clean diluted at all gentlemen? Also does it have foaming capabilities? Just curious . I’m always happy to see you both and the knowledge bombs you give us.

    Try out magic eraser on these types of interiors 🤮 quick work

    • @LitSFC
      @LitSFC ปีที่แล้ว

      Works on some materials but I would use caution because other materials you can't use it. Too abrasive. Try this on a MK4 Volkswagen, and you have ruined the customers interior because everything has a rubber coating that peels off if you hit it with anything more abrasive than microfiber.

    I did a truck similar one time on construction a ford truck learned one thing you don’t wanna do is spray water like u did inside the panels on bottom floor.they have wires in there and the water will go in there with enough water it will flood in there and short circuit it and cause damage to vehicle so always be careful it has be very light spraying or just by hand is better if not it will cost u more to fix it . You recommend using degreaser on interior??

    • @detailsauto
      @detailsauto  ปีที่แล้ว

      On this one of course, this is a very mild degreaser with a wide range of uses, gentle enough for fabrics even when diluted correctly.

    • @salfromdetails9876

      Hey Mike. You most certainly can use APC. For this vehicle, in its environment, and what it's used for, and based on our pre inspections, we knew which line up of chemicals were necessary to achieve maximum results.

    Perfect video for my thoughts right now. Several weeks back I was awarded a supervisorial role with 10+ years experience at this company. Every night I bring our work truck in I am so disgusted with the interior space because it has never been cleaned since it was bought about three years ago. I'm about to talk with the owner about maybe giving this truck a detail because it is full of dust. The main goals are to make the driving cab livable, give the exterior some basic spray on protection and some beadmaker treatment to the windows plus I would probably do a quick work of some synthetic clay to clean up the paint surface as well. I guess my question is, should I book this for three hours or four? I'm not expecting perfection and I probably won't be using a steamer either. Sheesh I though maybe just some ONR to break down the dirt but you guys went right in with Envrioclean!
