Looks good... another guy commented its advertised as a 12 month product... well more like 3ish...my opinion on most p&s products is they are good but not outstanding.. they will get the job done at usually a decent price
Thank you for such an honest and forthright review. Some accuse you of being a P&S fanboy but you spelt it out like it is with Defender. Decent product, not quite what P&S claimed though.
What was in the pretreatment you used the IK foamer for on the bottom of the car, and at what dilution? Just bought my first IK foamer and can't wait to use it.
Hey my active did the same thing it took me going through 2 of them to realize that it was getting too much water pressure through the hose! Try just turning your water on half what it is now at the spigot! Hope this helps!
I’m glad my pressure washer isn’t the only one that constantly revs up when not in use 😂 so freakin’ annoying Mine’s starting to surge every 10 seconds and I’m ready to throw it off the roof
It would be excellent to see how Labocosmetica's Purifica could bring back the coatings properties compared to the hand wash on those door panels that have lost their hydrophobic properties.
Thank you for blessing us with Saturday morning content! How are you liking crystal wash so far? Would you rather use it over a traditional iron remover?
@@JamieTheCleaner yeah I’m looking for a less stinky alternative lol, I know stoner just came out with an odorless one but I have seen videos of the product staining people’s driveways. I guess I’ll wait for more testing…
How long of a garden hose do you use to hook up to the pressure washer? I tried using a 100ft garden hose once to help pressure wash a fence and mine would surge like crazy. Never had an issue with a 50ft garden hose though

I have been sitting on a gallon of defender since Xmas and have yet to try it out. So I want to clay vehicle and slap that on there I’m assuming? What’s my drying aid moving forward after
For a product advertised to last 12+ months? Not too impressed with the durability 4 months later. Bottom half does get beaten more but I wouldn’t expect it to be that flat 4 months in.
@@tafl-9198 yeah for sure, they go by % left so technically in 12 months there is a possibility that like a few % of the product could be left but it certainly wouldn’t be impressive
@@JamieTheCleaner not just that, but it’s a “best case scenario” longevity claim. Im sure if it was maintained weekly, if you didnt need to use an apc pre wash and you used “clean maker” as a drying aid every wash, Defender would still be intact.
There are no durability claims on the bottle or on their website. No one said 12+ months and it isn't going last as long as a standalone vs. as a coating topper. When people asked, they said maybe 6-12 months. That is a big range and we should all know as detailers that durability is directly related to maintenance, driving conditions and whether a vehicle is garaged or not. If this thing hasn't been washed after 4 months of a hot Louisiana summer, parked outside in the swamp funk and driven over who knows what kind of roads...the fact that anything is left is impressive. The lowers and back end could've still been clogged and might've come back with a clay towel.
Does crystal wash really decontaminate as good as a iron remover plus I tried p and s bead maker after a bunch of you tube videos it was not as slick as people made out to be or I got a bad batch then they came out with a topper fir bead maker so need 2 products because it dosent do what clams so I am a lil skeptical after bead maker I have spray wax that makes car feel smoother I tried brake buster it's good but I think megs none acid wheel cleanercjust as good
Crystal wash is an old school acid wash type product works good if you are in heavily traffic area with a lot of brake dust definitely will not do as well as iron remover which is newer technology 👍 if you check for slickness with bead maker immediately after application it’s a product that cures for 2-4 hours then it reaches peak slickness, there is no topper for bead maker as bead maker is a topper product you may be thinking of clean maker which is a bead maker/dream maker mix which is my mix I perfected to be a better version of bead maker 👍🧼 brake buster is a maintenance product with a lower ph safe for all wheel types the other wheel and tire cleaners are gonna be higher ph which definitely will clean the tires better but probably not safety remove brake dust as well, again it’s for maintenance so if it’s baked in brake dust you would need a stronger product like an acid or iron remover

Hey Jaime, I bought Crystal Wash after seeing your PH wash video and when i tried it i was chocking on the chemical smell, like it was strong, i know its an acid and it smelt like a really strong acid, i had to use a respirator, cause damn it was strong it felt like it was attacking my lungs. Is this normal?! Cause i see you just casually spraying it and talking like its nothing and also i had first timers bad experience, cause it did stain the car, im assuming due to the paint not being 100% cool but im gotta do more testing i guess
My tolerance may just be real high not sure you definitely don’t want to inhale 👍 it definitely should not stain the car and yes definitely apply to a cooler panel
I’m on month 5 with defender, water behavior is pretty similar to this Tahoe. Definitely still has that gloss going though

Not bad for a spray sealant. It’s pretty crazy how far the technology has progressed with spray products.
