      Thanks. BTW the mindfulness and meditation book "30 Days to Stop Giving a Shit" by Corin Devaso has some really good beginning mindfulness exercises, and it's a fun quick read. Totally recommend it.

    Thank you! I am a 64 year old overweight women with many health challenges. This is the first time I have done floor Yoga. I surprised myself by doing most of the poses in spite of spinal injuries. I lasted 27 minutes. I will do this again on Monday. Many Thanks ❤

    It's been years since I've been in a regular yoga practice and last night was my breaking point of anxiety, worries, panic, all manifesting in physical form. I felt nothing but peace and calm watching this and it means so much to me that you create things brief window for me to regain my composure and my focus.

      This is beautiful! I too found this video peaceful and calming. From therapy, I am learning that anxiety is often the result of worrying about the future in one way or another, so this video brought me back to the present, especially with the deep and paced breathing 🥰

      Yeah I'm 72 now and I started practicing in 1970 when I was 20.
      But with raising kids and 50 years of marriage I often have been just exercising and trying to maintain my equilibrium.
      Thank the Lord for Thriftbooks I obtained some of my old instructions books. And just started practicing again.
      Like they say, "when the student is ready the teacher will appear".

    Hands down the best restorative practice I’ve ever done. I’m 30 yrs old ex-athlete/bodybuilder and have suffered from debilitating anxiety, injuries and severe chronic fatigue for 1 year now. I’ve followed this video practice only twice and I have felt levels of peace and equanimity in my body that I have not felt in over 12 months. Thanks Jessica!

    After a year of caring for a sick husband and lots of hospital stays I needed some self love this morning. Jessica, your voice was so calming to me.     I found this channel a couple weeks ago and I can't tell you how much I'm loving these classes. I'm a certified yoga instructor and have been doing yoga since 2009 so I've done all types of classes. The voice overs in these videos are GOLD. I know it takes a lot more time and effort but I just wanted to let you know that it's greatly appreciated. Your voice is soooo relaxing. Wonderful channel

    I love to do this sequence at the end of the day after I've been sitting in front of a computer for ~10 hours. It really helps to open up my chest and hip area and relieve the strain in my upper back and neck. I've also noticed that after a few weeks of doing it every day, my desk posture is much better and some chronic pain that I used to have is much reduced. Thank you for sharing!

    Jéssica, I can’t thank you enough for this video. I remember trying Yoga for the first time at my local gym and it was so intense it almost put me off Yoga completely. I have now been practicing this restorative yoga video for a few weeks now, I love it, it’s transformed my mood, I always feel more calm and light after the session. I love how you also add meditation at the end which kills two birds with one stone for my daily routine.

    I have chronic health issues, and usually when I do guided yoga it’s a struggle to get from one position to the next. But with this class, I can actually relax into the shapes and allow my muscles to stretch naturally and gently. Also, something about the words you choose allows me to feel what you are saying in my body. Thank you so much. ❤️

      You can try shorter sessions and alter the video setting for a slower play speed like .75 ... I do this frequently, as I'm 60 and find myself not quite as nimble as these young yogis.. but do love following them. This was a lovely session, though, I do agree.

    Today I came home from work very overwhelmed. My boyfriend told me to relax and do yoga, because he knows I enjoy doing it.
    Well, I ended up in your video completely by chance and at the end of the video, during the guided meditation, when you said "you don't need to have control now" I started crying.
    That's what I've been wanting to hear this evening! I feel so much better now!

    Very relaxing! You should consider a yoga nidra session as your voice is calming and you enjoy relaxing quiet time to hold a pose in between the next command.

I've strained my left leg and couldn't do most of these exercises as they're shown, so I made my own adjustments and used a pillow. I loved doing my version, in parallel with yours.     My favorite practice of all videos on TH-cam! This is perfect for my lifestyle. I work a stressful schedule. 2 days a typical 9-5 and 2 days graveyard, completely conflicting my internal clock evey shift so the graveyard shift are hard to pull theough at times and takes a toll on my mind, body and spirit. This practice however keeps me sane especially. after coming home from hanging in there from my graveyard shift...its PERFECT to rebalance my health.

    I generally don't comment, but couldn't help it today. It's been years of working out, on and off (without equipment) in different forms. But This! Literally never felt like this after a session. More power to you Girl! Enjoyed every second of this class. Definitely gonna follow for more.

    Jessica seriously. you're amazing. Your reverance during this class was so beautiful to watch and experience with you. You also helped me realize that I can end my yin or restorative classes sitting up! My back tends to be stiff after lying on my back. It was so great to see you do the lying down poses then move to seated and meditation, which is the opposite of how I set my class. Genius sis. Thanks so much! Be blessed!

    After 5 weeks of having Covid my lower back is killing me. Decided to do this yoga video and my pain has decrease. The breathing helped me so much. Thank you..

    I’ve been searching far and wide a restorative evening practice before bed to decompress and this is my favorite one so far! You have a lovely voice and I really appreciated the mindfulness moments you wove in throughout the practice :)

    I work from home and I get tense while sitting with the laptop for long periods of time. I’ll go for coffee, a snack, time on the phone - doesn’t really relax me. But taking 30 minutes away for this session made me calm, aware, and better able to be friendly and help others. Thanks!!
