Thanks for watching, I use linseed oil from olinatura ,it says boiled but its really boiled, it doesn't contain metal dryers..... And on boxes like this one I put pure beeswax on top.... They mix together on the wood and it gives a nice low shine....its not durable but it doesn't have to be....😀
Thank you for support.... The square one is from two cherry chisel company and the curved one is home made.... Steel is hss steel trapeze shape, for metalturning.... They work extreamlly well.... The henry taylor ones are awsome as well 😀
That is great. Thanks for sharing how you made them. Curious, was the lid made with wet wood? It looked like it steamed up a bit. Sorry, another question. You say these sell quite quickly, what would someone keep in a box like this?
Thank you for watching, its dry wood, its accually really cold in my shop since I dry bowls as well ..... So that was a heat from dull scraper, next scene I believe I hone it so its better......I do make ones with little bases which are for spices and these one are for woman purse mostly as they tent to keep rings or neclase in it..... Some do keep pills as well.... Its a handy little thing ...oooh and the coins
