They look pretty similar, and that's the hard part. Great job! 😎

TNice tutorials is by far the best soft soft basic tutorial, I rember when I just started learning, tNice tutorials was so helpful!! I’ve now been releasing edm
Thank you for that.... 👍
The bowl is beautifully made by a skillful craftsman👍

Excellent work my friend. Uniformity is difficult to acquire. 👍👍
Thank you for that..... 👍
Perfect, thanks
Thank you 😀
Old school band aid !!
Right, first tape to come and hand 😀👍
I like the nippers to remove the nib on the base although a chisel might be better and even faster.
Just saw comment, I did use chisel for some time but found that with knipers I don't have to hold bowl in any way, just knitped a stubb away😀
Thank you sir for comment, means a lot.
Beautiful❤
Thank you 🥰
Nice 👍
Thanks 👍

Great job! They look very uniform in size and shape also. Question: how fine do you sand before applying the finish?
Stuart
Thank you for comment, I sand up to 240 or 320 depends on which species of wood it is..... On some woods like maple before oil I like to raise the grain with water and after a minute or so sand back with well worn out piece of 320 paper....
Hope I helped😀
Bravo za veštinu i video, koju steznu glavu koristiš?
Hvala puno👍 Record power sc3 i vicmark VM100
Very well done sir and what was the finish you applied?
Thank you very much, finish is Rubio monocoat....
Супер!
😉
Very nicely made what oil finish did you use
Thank you, its Rubio monocoat.....
Hello, I am very new to this, have a lathe the same as yours in this video but haven't been able to make space for it yet to use it. I have some questions........ The Raffan style grind on your gouge, what does the short right wing do that the swept left wing cannot do...... why not grind both sides swept back? When you flipped the bowl around to remove the foot, the round blank that you had chucked up...... Does this need to touch the inside of the bowl at the rim to hold it steady? Are there any bad points about this lathe that I need to consider or improve?
Sorry for the questions, I'm brand new to this and would like to learn 😁
No problem for questions, I answer them in next Q&A video.... In few days I'll publish it☺️
Nice video! What’s the easiest wood for a beginner to start out on?
Thank you, for beginner I would say any hardwood, just start turning.... There are woods like cherry or maple that turns quite nice..... Start with green (wet) wood..... Its even easier to cut and you could practice different cuts.... Hope I helped
Nicely done. Will the bowls move as they dry or do you start with dry blanks?
These are dry.... Its 80mm thick stock since it had to be done in short time.....
Did you use the regular Rubio Monocoat 2C or did you use an accelerant?
I think you may have used the accelerant because I saw you mixing the oil before applying
Just trying to get the details correct
Thanks. Great video!!!
Its with accelerant, its great for bowls but sometimes pain in bottom to mix ,then if I mix to little need more...... I have new oil to play with so you'll see even that sometime in future
Thank you for comment 😀
what kind of wood?
Its maple, nice piece from lumbermill
