    This may be one of the most valuable videos I've seen with regard to my own goals as a turner. The method of making a tenon using the chuck and tailstock pressure at the beginning is excellent. Why didn't I think of that? This is a video worth saving for the future! Thank you sincerely.

    I am so impressed with how delicate your toolwork appears. I guess its a combination of very sharp tools and years of turning. Thank you for another valuable lesson.

    Really enjoy watching these kinds of projects and seeing how similar objects can be made. One of the challenges of this craft is to make objects that look similar. You had several good tips that will be helpful for this.

    Excellent pair of boxes. So identical, as well. I like that I can see the inspiration in the form with a portion of your personal style.

    Question: Where does the sandpaper that you and Richard Raffan use come from?

    • @tomislavtomasicwoodturning
      @tomislavtomasicwoodturning  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think that color coded sandpaper is made in Australia, in Europe is hard to get it or find at all.
      In US there is Craft supply usa that sell these

    Very nice duplication of the original box and appreciate the explanation of the various holding details you incorporated into the basic design. BTW: what are the chucks you’ve using? Thanks for the demos. Cheers, Tom

      Thank you Tom very much, really appriciate that ☺️ I have one chuck from Record power sc4 , and one from vicmark, vm100 , and one more on the way from vicmark but with shark jaws... Vicmark isn't much more expensive, but quallity is few steps above everything else

    Beautiful work, fluent, confident, and skillful tool handling. By the way: I approached Gurtools inquiring about shipping their tools to Israel. their reply was quite disappointing saying that they have not yet worked out a way of doing that.

      Hello hi, thank you very much for kind words and support 👍
      Sorry to hear that, I proposed to them about fixing these issues, hopefully they will as the tools are really great....
      Unfourtually it has nothing to do with me about how they sell tools but I hope they will sort it as a lot of people would wanna buy it....
      Thank you once again 🤗
