If you already have a Japanese copy of Emerald, you obviously don't have to do the last step. Also, it should be fine if you don't change its origin to JPN, it's just an extra step to give it more authenticity. If you have any questions, join my Discord server in the description!
I know they gave mew for the us for like one day or something like that in the past, I wonder what the likelyhood that someone who actually got to legit get that mew got it shiny and if it got transfered up and still exists today
There is a way to calculate what your secret id has to be to make a pokemon shiny, u have to bitwise xor your id with the first half of the PID, press equal, then xor again with the other half of the PID, and the result is your secret id
20:30 THANK YOU INCLUDING THIS!!! You're literally the first content creator that has talked about this step in a guide. Everyone was all about the Faraway Island and VC Mews, and very few pointed out that technically the VC one isn't legal! Prior to this video I had to ask that to Blisy and Sleipnir, and they basically said what you did. Just be sure that your OT and Mew's nickname (if there's any) is 5 character long or less, because that's the limit in japanese Emerald.

Im so tempted after going through the effort to get a shiny treeko starter with rng manip to do this and get whats needed to transfer up before banks gone cause god mew is one of my favorites ever since childhood, mews just so cute and I always thought as a kid there had to be some way to get mew in game and there was just not what little me expected

11:20 you actually can view your SID by hatching an egg using the code in list one, line 17. If you have changed your SID, then all you have to do is catch a new pokemon that has this SID number (no matter which) and put it in box 9 slot 27. Hatch another egg with the code for checking and you've checked it. Save the game before you do the code with the SID and don't save afterwards, but restart the game so as not to lose your TID.

Just got my emerald copy I got a perfect stat version of mew with the painting and rng manip timid in a master ball and I used ace to respawn him and got him in a dive ball .

Bro, if you are already using ACE, and you know the code generator qebsite, why dont you jist use the change and freeze PRNG instead of RNG manipulating?

I actually felt like outside the area like the shore would be the best save spot. I doubt that that Mew is affected by Synchro. If it is affected, that means there is a 1/16,000 chance the shiny will get a Nature match. That is why Shy, Docile, Hard Working, Quirky, and Serious are the best Natures for any Pokémon.
I got the GB Operator hoping I'd be able to do these events but I cant open the files on my computer. ( Mac) Anyone know a workaround that doesn't involve spending more money?

I used this guide and your static Rayquaza video to get a shiny Timid six IV Mew. Where I am having trouble is on finding the ACE code to convert it into Japanese. The third list of Slepnir codes appears to have been taken down on his link from the bio and the Google drive html from the video here. Can anyone send an updated link?

Japanese copy should be very similar to this actually, only thing I'd do different is to not change the origin language to JPN 😅

No. If you misstype any character the game will just freeze and you restart. As for the ACE setup you just have to leave box 1 and 2 empty.

Hi, it's normal to miss by a few frames, it takes practice. Just be persistent and you'll eventually get it 💪
i keep calibrating and its getting further away? am i supposed to soft reset or completely close out and start the timer when i start the game??
It works both SR or hard reset the game. It shouldn't be getting further away... Are you finding the correct targets in Gen 3 seed assistant?
I'm pretty sure yeah. I've had a few times where I'm within 2-3 frames, calibrate it, reset and the next mew is further away again.@@ItsLazyHunter

You don't even have to change its origin to JPN, it's just another layer of authenticity

Frustrated for you that I have a legit shiny mew from Pokemon Go that I transferred to Home, wish they kept this guy hard to get considering how much shiny hunters put in to get it
If you think about it I didn't use any hacks or external hardware to get this Mew. I'm utilizing the games code and RNG algorithm to hit a specific frame. It is 100% legit and still hard to get. Not everyone understands ACE or RNG manipulation. It takes time.
putting work in for shinies and pokemon go shouldn't be in the same sentence. what he did was harder than what you did
@@Hoolahupsclearly you dont play go enough to know that shiny mew grind is roughly 1 year long that being said the original comment has childish energy on it since having access to a shiny mew is not that hard and has been available for a while
Seems like people will never truly understand there is a major difference between cheating and using exploits in games.
