Bro I was using the same tool to inject the events to my Pokémon emerald and I didn't know what was wrong because every single time I entered the 2do floor of the poke center the delivery guy was not there. Watching your video I noticed I never saved after injecting the events xd I just close the program and try right away to get to the 2do floor. Lol

i have the US version of firered, pretty sure you need a japanese version

If you have English emerald. And send me your save file in discord. I have a game shark and I can get you the old sea map and unlock the mew event I'll take you the island and make sure it works but I'll save it in Lilly cove. You must have the ss ticket and mystery gift unlock before I'll do it.

Np, also I have the jarchi bonus disk I can get you jarchi but can't guarantee it will be shiny you'd have to do resets or something like that I was told.
Are you using windows 10 for the wc3 tool?
If you inject old sea map does it trigger the flag for the event as well? I know sometimes it does not work.

if anyone is looking for codes in Emerald & FR/LG to get these Events unlocked i have some that work. I played all the events that i missed when i was a child ... just let me know (the codes work for original game cartridges and emulators)

idk if its just me, but when I save on the game while using the operator it doesnt acrtually save when I plug it into my gameboy or save onto the actual cartridge because when I boot it back up on the operator its a previous save. So I always writer it onto the operator as well no matter what

Hey! Is there a way that the GB Operator can find Secret ID’s? Since this is a “emulator” would there be a way to inject ‘legal’ pokémon?
Not the operator itself, but you can extract the save file using the operator and then use PKHex and upload your save file there and then check the stats of a Pokémon you caught in that file. Secret ID should be on that tab

There’s nothing wrong with backing up your own physical media. The problem comes with distributing and profiting off of it. As long as you’re not giving it out, selling it out, claiming it’s legit, you’re fine. It’s been like that since the days of mix tapes.
I know I'm 8 months late, but you don't necessarily need an operator to extract your save GBA save. As long as you have a DS/DSlite and an R4, you can use "gbabackuptool", run it on ds while having your gba game on slot-2 and you can get a copy of your cartridge save, you move it to your pc and you can reupload it on your physical cartridge later, using the same tool.
Is it possible to inject the old sea map to an european Emerald? Like, bypass the regions? Would be nice to get the event on my save
Old sea map was only for Japanese cartridges
yes you just click override region, selct jap and load it to your save, even with a english copy
Yep. Do it in PKHeX and just trigger the event flags to allow you to go to Faraway Island. The problem is, the Mew you catch won't be classed as legitimate since the Old Sea Map was never released outside of Japan.
I know I'm more than a year late, and you might already have your answer, but just in case you don't, let me explain in detail. So regarding the oldseamap, YES, you can override the region (it's the option on the top right) and YES you can inject the item and activate the event in a non-Japanese save, as the event is coded in the game. BUT, most apps like pkhex and nintendo systems like bank and home will flag it as illegal and won't let you pass it on after gen5, since the event was originally Japanese-exclusive. If you are an old-school player who enjoys the games and doesn't care about legality, just do this. Otherwise, you can also load your English save of emerald on a jp Emerald (saves and games are compatible with all regions for RSE, but not FRLG), save in-game and extract your newly created pseudo-Japanese save. inject the event on that save, reload it on the japanese game, catch mew, save again and extract one last time. Lastly, load the pseudo-Japanese save that has mew to your English game and BOOM you have a legal, Japanese mew (it's name will also be Japanese) and your pokemon will have your TID number and the same OT name, just slightly wider characters, because Japanese games have a different font for Latin characters.
@@stixoimatizontasthanks for the late response. I purchased a Japanese emerald not long ago, so I can do it legally. Inject event jap-emerald and just trade it to my English games.

I’m sure ya can! But it’s all the more fun earning them!
Earning them is better, but yes it would be effortless. If you want a crazy method of getting shinies easier while still working for them, look up "RNG Manipulation". It's easiest on a dead battery copy of Ruby or Sapphire, or any copy of Emerald as the RNG is effectively busted in that so even with a live battery it still always starts from the exact same point of RNG every time.

The gameboy operator sellers are nor great, Their shipping service is absolutely hot garbage. Don't pay for expedited shipping service because it will cause them to print the table and drop off your order in a timely matter

sometimes the saving can be messy, I save every 10 mins or so to avoid this stuff and make a lot of backups
I feel ya. I kinda wish that there was at least a way to disable the save manager that they have. For those who don't have one. On a pokemon game, you must save the game and then hit exc to exit the emulator. You are then met with a screen that asks if you want to save, discard(?), or cancel. if you save, the operator will write the save. if you discard anything you have done that emulation run is gone. and cancel backs you out of the exit.
I have been scarred by this and also have been saving and committing saves often as well as downloading saves to pc to keep them safe. I even started a repository on github to keep them all somewhere lol.
@@MasterMew98 I only recently found out about the operator. Until now I have been using the gbabackuptool for DS and my R4 for all kinds of distribution pokemon and event items. Regardless, I was thinking of buying the operator to stream directly from my physical copies. So thank you for mentioning the issue with saves.

Classic zoomer desktop background 😂 .. I liked Spongebob but I was 12 when it came out and only enjoyed the first two seasons before I grew out of it. Also, only OG spongebob had that special sauce. Genius comedy, show had no right being that good.
