13 in MacBook Air vs iPad Pro 13 in with keyboard video?
When will you respond to your inaccurate prediction regarding Mini-LED?
We need more real-life usage scenario comparisons instead of just specs; how they fit into bags (including small women bags and such), one-handed usage, lying in bed, desk space occupation, etc.
Yeah these reviewers are concerned with numbers that is kinda useless because it's so small in real life
I prefer the 11-inch because if I need a bigger screen, I have my MBP 16-inch. I only take notes, not draw at all. Size is most important; I am lazy to bring big things outside.
I went from a 12.9" M1 to the 11" M4 and I am happy that I did. I normally use the iPad primarily for drawing/art and the smaller form factor is just easier to hold and move around. For me, the larger one is just too awkward to maneuver around comfortably.
That’s exactly what I did.
I’m glad I’m not the only one considering downsizing. I use mine for note taking, teams meetings and reading and I ended up buying a Mini as well as the larger iPad was just too cumbersome for moving around the desk as I swapped between tasks, and especially for reading. I think the 11” is just the sweet spot for everything for me, and the OLED panel is the killer feature I didn’t realise I was waiting for!
Did you keep or sell the 12.9? I’m thinking of getting the 11 inch just for handheld usage as I use my 12.9 more as a laptop replacement.
I prefer the 11 inch aswel much better to hold and carry around i do like the bigger screen tho on the 12.9 but like you found it horrible to hold etc
@@richarddcrossley I gave it to my son. He was still using an older 8th gen iPad and wanted to try out logic as he was outgrowing what he could do with Garage Band.
I got the 11” m4 512GB and am happy with it so far. I had the 12.9 2017 pro I thought that the smaller keyboard would drive me nuts but I really wanted a smaller form factor for bringing to meetings at work for notes etc.
I just received my 11" Pro and it's fantastic!! Perfect size for everyday use. For heavy lifting, I fall back on my MBP.
Thanks for this. Exactly what I was looking for. Getting the 13” as it will be my primary computing device. This answered all my questions!
11 inch with no keyboard 👍 Do your typing on a laptop, it’s definitely a MUCH better, quicker and more efficient typing solution.
As someone with a MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, PC, several 3rd party keyboards, and M4 iPad with Magic Keyboard 13 inch, it’s not MUCH better…It’s an expensive keyboard, and it’s really good. Is it the best, no, but there is no suffering with this solution at least from a hardware front. You can debate the software all day long, but it’s really good hardware. However, the 11 in Magic Keyboard is a bit cramped but not bad compared to the 13.
Great video! I had the 12.9" M2 and it always felt heavy and uncomfortable to hold, it would be awkward to have it beside my keyboard and mouse to take handwritten notes etc. I've tried to use the iPad Pro as my primary computer but the experience was extremely frustrating, so now I just want an iPad to be an iPad. I wanna walk around holding it in one hand to watch videos, take notes, read articles etc, and I think the 11" M4 will be a better buy. I just bought a 15 inch MacBook Air to be my primary device and I want the iPad to just be this super portable, fun device to use.
It would be nice to see a comparison between the 2018 and 2024 iPad Pro.
Yes, I want to see an app launching speed test. M4 will be fast, but the 2018 won’t be too far behind, my guess
Basically the same mate someone did a video already on youtube only difference is screen brightness
@@marcust123The m4 is way better it’s not even funny
@@redeem5858 Well yes, of course...the specs are better. But it really comes down to what you're using your iPad for. A large majority of people will see no measurable difference between the M1 and M4 iPad Pro. The only thing they might notice is the screen contrast/brightness/blacks, but performance wise, it will perform the same as the M1 for their use case.
Of course if you throw a bunch of benchmarks at it, the M4 is going to come out overwhelmingly on top, but that's not most peoples use case or even close to their normal workload. For instance, if their normal workload only uses 50% of the processing power of the M1 chip, then upgrading to an M4 does almost nothing for them, aside from the physical changes and screen changes mentioned above. Potentially slightly better battery life, but again, that's not going to affect most people.
@@bdvproductions1355 idk why anyone would own an m series chip in the first place if there a casual user
Got the 11” M4 Pro 512Gb , really happy with it . Sound not an issue as if I want loud I usually either use Bluetooth speaker or through AirPods
It's funny that nobody have mentioned this, but my first observation was that finally Apple managed to make the background of the camera area same color as rest of the frame. Now it also comes in aluminium color and not just black. Nothing to do with the iPad performance, but I found the black as a rare design decision (flaw).
Can't wait to get my iPad Pro M4 13" in silver 😃
11 is the way for portability. I have 27 inch monitor that I connect my iPad to it when I want a bigger screen! Then I have a hub to connect keyboard and mouse! I use Apple Pencil most of the time so I don’t need the Magic Keyboard.
Dude check your text more, on the first seconds top of the screen says 11" M2 vs M4 iPad Pro

I would like the comparison between 11 vs 13 to read advanced mathematics books, Topology, Algebraic Geometry. Which of the two offers the best experience? Thanks in advance.
its that true apple decrease bass speaker in M4 ipad pro 11" than previous? because i had 2020 ipad pro which is sound really nice
As someone who’s blind I upgraded to the 13 in from m212.9 for the display and one never been happier this thing is light and perfect size for my eyes
If the iPad is your main device or is being used more often the not as a second screen than the 13" is the way to go. For 95% of users who are looking at emails, watching movies, reading books etc...the 11" is the best bang for your buck. The use case scenario that you and many TH-camrs are reviewing this for is for a very small minority of users and is really not representative of how most people will use this device. The 11" complements or is an accessory to your main system such as a Mac studio etc. Its silly to get the 13" and then your other system is just sitting not getting used, especially if its not that old and you spent a lot of money for it. I have an M1 iPad and it sits there and does not get used much. Its too big and heavy to hold for long periods of time.
I went from the 12.9 Pro + Mini to a 11” Pro. For my use case the switch was well worth it, I realized I never actually used my 12.9 for heavy illustration work like I thought I would. Only light sketching and the RARE finished piece, most digital work I did I noticed I would just switch to my Mac & 19” Huion. I figured I’d declutter and properly move and use my iPad as the secondary device I have been between both tablets. For me it was worth it, the smaller and lighter footprint feels so nice
Nope. 13 inch hands down better for media consumption. Better speakers by a long shot and bigger screen. Had the 11 inch m1 and never used it for movies. Sound was awful. Always used my 14’inch m1 MacBook Pro. But, now I watch movies on the 13 inch iPad because the screen gets brighter with better colors. The sound is good, still not as bass as the 14 inch, but they work great.
I bought the 11inch and love it. Plan on using Lightroom and Resolve 🎉 . Bought the Magic Keyboard for the first time and was surprised how much I liked it. No regrets!❤❤❤❤❤
I can connect the ipad to external monitor and keyboard if I am staying in the office. It looks like 11" is good enough
Yes!!! Thank you thank you thank you for doing this comparison family!
Get the 11" since it is the more portable table. My last tablet was the 12.9" M1 iPad because of the mini LED screen. However since now both sizes of iPad have the same screen. I got the 11" inch was what I wanted in the first place.
Hey Max, great video as always! But I spotted something, which kind irritates me. You show the difference in video at 1:41 and there is some kind of glowing on top black bar of the iPad Pro 11“. Which isn’t visable on the 13“ Model, is it and screenissue or some like that? Looked like the fire glowed to high, but how. Maybe someone can explain it too me. Thanks in Advance
11 looks weirdly warmer in this video. Is true tone enabled on 11 and not on 13?
Likely. He likes the 13” more obviously, he probably uses it, and has actually messed with the settings.
Greetings! Any suggestions on if I should get the 13” or the 11” iPad to mainly watch movies on an airplane? Was thinking of getting the 13” but I think it might be a little big when it’s on a tray table. Also just saw that there’s not much of a difference in real estate in watching a movie but I’m not sure what’s the difference. Thank you
How about 8gb and 16gb used in 3d model sculpt difference?
I now have the 11 inch Tab S9 and the iPad Pro 13 inch, so I’m trying to decide which to sell and which to keep. The Tab S9 is winning in my pros and cons list so far. The fact it came with the S Pen immediately gave it a leg up.
I actually think S9 ultra and 11 inch ipad pro is a better combo
I used the 12.9 all the time on a plane. It fits fine.
I bought the 11-inch 1T version. Although it is very expensive, it is my first iPad and it should last a long time.
What games do you run on m4 pro? I’m new to iPad world so wanna know what games you recommend ?
Wait! What are the specs of these? Are these the ones with 9 or 10 cores?
One thing you left out is that a lot of professionals are using these to read paper documents in portrait mode. Why is the 13-inch so perfect? It's the same size as the 8.5x11 piece of paper many office workers used for decades.
Yes! It's perfect for reading and annotation PDFs og scientific articles
Sweet vid! Are u guys gonna due a comparison between glossy vs nanotexture displays? Most likely not worth the cost bc forced to get @ least 1tb which is sad.
I upgraded from 11" to the 13" iPad Pro and glad I did. The larger screen and light weight is worth the upgrade.
Do you carry iPad out all day and need holding it for hours sometimes for work? Cuz that’s my case
@@flippers9052 not in my case but I don't think you'd have an issue holding it for hours.
Agreed
Sure 4:3 aspect ratio gives very noticeable screen size 🤣 Galaxy S9 Tab has more comfortable aspect ratio for consuming content
I went with the 11” primarily because 13” would’ve been too close to my 14” MacBook. Having a smaller screen is nice for on the go portability .
@Max Tech 256 vs 512 as I was thinking 256 with Thunderbolt 2TB SSD and its speed ..Am I thinking correctly?
As someone who uses the 16" M1 Macbook Pro everywhere, I'm considering getting an iPad for a more portable/travel device. I made up my mind on the 13" a while ago, but I'm reconsidering the 11" as everyone says it's the sweet spot. I'm the type of person that would use a 16" laptop on a plane, so the larger size doesn't matter too much to me. Can't see me holding it one handed for all that long, mainly using it on the couch, maybe in bed.
I'll be editing photos, watching videos, internet browsing, creating YT thumbnails and likely only editing videos when travelling (which isn't too often). I could also use the iPad as a secondary screen/reference monitor of my Macbook Pro, but I have a portable USB-C monitor already and I never use it, so unsure if I would connect the iPad much.
iPad 11” all the way
I would go to a store that has both and hold it/ look at the difference. Size is all subjective. My photography bag can only hold the 11 inch, but I do love larger sizes particularly for drawing. I have the 11in and considering upgrading and getting a bigger size. I love large displays and use a 22in drawing tablet at home I also have a surface pro for windows (though definitely prefer ipad for drawing) and the 13 in and weight never bothered me to much. My Ipad 11in pro from 2018 in a case and I can hold in one hand just fine and is of similar weight to the new 13 without the case. Sorry if this muddies the water, but you just have to make the choice yourself. I wouldn't buy based off others opinions. :)
@@ryanclouse299 appreciate the details response!
I did spend an hour in the Apple store the other day playing with both. While I prefer the 11" as a tablet, the 13" is just so much better as soon as you add a keyboard or prop it up on a desk. I also think after a few days using the 13" as a tablet you'd get used to it.
Ended up ordering the 13" iPad Pro, will use it for the week and swap it to the 11" if I find it's too big, but I doubt that'll happen
@@chrisnelson2770 Sounds good! I hope you enjoy and get good use out of it! :D all that matters lol
Thanks for your insights. You have probably not thought about the difference in the user experience for someone who has much smaller hands. I have tried the largest iPad previously and the hand fatigue was a deal breaker. I ended up giving it to my daughter. I will be purchasing the M4 11 inch model this week. 😊
I got the 13inch M4 since release date. Really love it so far 😁
Having a 14’ MacBook Pro M1, the 11” is perfect for me for everyday use. Love the combo iPad Pro 11” and its new Magic Keyboard. Great for travel, as I prefer not to take the MacBook while going places.
got the 11 inch one, as he said, not my main rig but more on the go device.
I’m really digging my 13 iPad nano texture and having the screen dim at the fingertips is awesome on the keyboard
Thank you for pointing out that there is very little difference in real screen estate for watching videos between 11 and 13. Interesting battery is also a bit better on 11. For my use I will stick with the 11!
I have an iPad Pro 12.9 A12Z inch that I gave to my eldest son.
I bought myself an 11 inch iPad Pro M4.
In my case the 11 inch is much more comfortable to carry around. I am not editing or drawing anymore so the big screen wouldn’t benefit me.
Right now I care more about moving around the house, throwing it in my backpack or watching something at night while my kids sleep and the big display doesn’t disturb them. The big screen just isn’t comfortable enough for me while lying down.
P.S In Japan the price difference between the 11 inch and the 13 feels more like $500 not $300.
I have a MacBook Pro 16" for home use, the iPad 11" is perfect for traveling, reading, etc. (I prefer now the nano-texture). Indeed every person has different needs and preferences. Word of advice: use both. The experience is not substituted for a cerebral analysis.
Although the 13" is lighter and I can appreciate that bigger screen, it is still heavier than my previous M2 11" w/ Magic Keyboard and that was heavier than I liked to lug around. The 11" is the perfect compliment to my MacBook Air.
3:18 In the camera I can’t see any difference. LOL 😂
What size would be best when reading comics/graphic novels? On the market to replace my 2017 iPad Pro 9.5”
11 will be more comfortable for this vs. 13. Personally, I have a 12.9 from 2018 and I love it, but I didn’t use it nearly as much as I wanted due to the form factor. If you plan on using it like a laptop 13, but if you plan on holding it a lot 11 all day. People will say the 13 is way better than the 12.9 was with portability, but it’s just awkward after a while.
Battery comparison between Macbook Air M3 vs iPad Pro M4s please.
11 inch suits my use cases the best
Which colour Magic Keyboard is the decision
I switched to the 11 in 2018 but may step back up to the larger size the problem I have is the 2018 still performs well and hard to justify the upgrade but would like to do Final Cut on it and use it as a second display for my Mac
M4 11 after having 12.9 M2. Glad I Made the Switch.
Same here.
I’m going to make the same switch. When traveling the 12.9 has been too heavy and takes too much room.
Any iPad Air M2 testing coming?
Thanks for the video. I went for the 11 inch more for the price. Plus I am upgrading from the first generation iPad Pro 9.7 inch therefore benefiting from a bigger screen anyway.
11" iPP is the way to go for travel and in-hand use. Absolutely. I would only recommend the 13" iPP if you are going to use it mostly with a MKB.
Loving the brightness difference on my m4 compared to my m1. Won’t be getting rid of my m1 tho as it’s still a nice iPad
Should I upgrade to 11 or 13 M4 iPad Pro? Currently have the 11 iPad Pro from 2018 without cellular. Also, is the cellular edition worth it?
It’s an added cost but if you’re out and about it’s awesome. You can of course tether using hotspot but when travelling I often prefer not to do that to keep battery life. It’s also really nice to just flip open your iPad and use it anywhere straight away. Only you can really answer that though as adding cellular basically get your the next storage tier up on a WiFi iPad in most cases. Owning both an 11 inch and 13 inch I ended up taking the 11 inch out more as I’m the netbook generation and it fits on coffee tablets and trains more (in the UK everything is cramped when you travel 😂)
@@richarddcrossley Ok, thanks!
So you say overall the new M4 iPad Pro 11 without cellular? That’s what I thought too!
@@satxrnhimself yeah. I’m also using my 12.9 inch much less because now stage manager has got much better and you can select which audio source I often connect my iPad to a Thunderbolt or USB C monitor. It’s really a game changer vs the none M1 or above iPads. Can use 11 inch for iPad things (now without a worse display) and for more complex tasks connect to a display and use Magic Keyboard or a keyboard and trackpad/Magic Mouse.
@@satxrnhimself last thing I forgot to say is the iPad Pro isn’t my primary portable computer as I have M1 Pro 14. If it’s going to be the primary mobile device for you it might be worth getting the 13 inch.
@@richarddcrossley Yeah. I want a Mac computer and an iPad for the mobility stuff and watching YT videos too. I debate between those 2 combinations: M4 Pro MacBook Pro (when it comes out) and iPad Mini 7 (when it comes out), or M4 Max Mac Studio (when it comes out) and M4 11 iPad Pro. Not sure which one is the better combo but currently leaning towards the Mac Studio with iPad Pro.
Is IPad Air 4 also 10:7 Format?
It would be interesting to compare the M1 Pro to M4 pro. I am thinking of going M1 but not sure yet. Many people would benefit from your point of view on this
Imagine a titanium iPad Pro 13”. I hope that comes!
I went from a 13” iPad that stayed at home always to an 11” M1 and the smaller size fits in all my Nike cross body bags which the 13” could never do. So being smaller I end up taking it far more places than I ever considered taking the 13”.
You can’t use something that isn’t along the ride with you.
When will you be looking at the nano textured screen?
Looking at upgrading from the 12.9” M1 to the 13” M4. Gonna go with at least 1tb this time instead of 512. Can’t believe I’ve got to get another Magic Keyboard. Mine’s 3 years old now and works fine.
Hope the upgrades worth it. I’ll find out in the next couple of weeks.
Also I’m getting the cellular version again so theirs no big upfront costs.
I’m doing a similar upgrade from the 11” m1 to the 11” m4 and my oh Magic Keyboard is going to be a hard justification to spend that money again all these years later
@@devindietz908 Been thinking hard about not doing the upgrade. Looks like I’m not going to upgrade. The software on the M4 is the same as the M1. Maybe, if WWDC and iPadOS 18 changes things then I’ll upgrade. If not than forget it. I’m staying with M1.
I prefer the smaller 11 inch size iPads. Thanks for this comparison.
Bro why did you continue playing the background music during the speaker comparison 😫😫😫😫😫
Can you test Coding apps ? Does it works well?
Thats really interesting that because of the aspect ratio, the bigger screen doesn’t make a big difference for watching movies.

Umm, it definitely does make a difference
Please, what is the Antutu resulta of M4 chip
My 13" is on the way! Just waiting for a Magic Keyboard compatible case.
I think I’m goin to follow the same configuration. 13, Smart Keyboard, magic pencil, 512,
Thank you for making this video. Since I already have a MacBook Pro, the 11 inch will be good for me.
I decided on the 11 inch pro I couldn’t stomach the price of the 13 inch pro🤪
It should cost $1199 instead of $1299.
Of all things I probably use my iPad the most as a second monitor for my MacBook using sidecar and so the 13" is real nice as I have a 13" Pro so it's nice and even and easy to carry around
5:41 Why does the 11 look warmer?
5:50
You mean the white point? He might use the 13” on a regular basis, looks like it has True Tone OFF so it keeps the cooler temperature, where the 11” might have it on, resulting in a warmer screen color. Usually the first thing a smart user does is turn off True Tone.

After my GCSEs I’m looking to buy an iPad Pro, and I’m not sure between getting the 13 inch or 11 inch, if I were to get the 11 inch I was wondering if it is worth also getting a monitor so I could use an external keyboard and mouse with the monitor and iPad while at home at my desk, but then I could just use the iPad when I’m at school for example. What do you think? Is there any point also getting a monitor, and should I go 11 inch or 13 inch?
I bought the new M4 11” iPad Pro Pro as an upgrade from my 2018 iPad Pro.
I will say the OLED screen and snappier performance are definitely worth it.
In the use, this new Pro 11 inch still feel much more heavy again the ipad mini?
I got a mini 5 so I could hold with one hand while drawing. The pro 11 is good in portrait, but the bezels are too small for a one hand grip in landscape. It's obviously heavier but still very nice for an 11 inch screen.
Can you make a real life comparison between M1, M2 and M4? Like restart time, start time for apps, Browser Test, TH-cam haha, Game Tests…
Someone already did it on youtube there basically the exact same speeds because of the software only difference was the screen brightness and oled
Excellent Performance ❤
Here before the tickle monster 👽🔥🔥🔥
Excellent comparision at least with respect to hardware features an quality and a suitable visual ending: 13" installed on Keyboard Docking Station and the 11" held in hands. Tells you everything you need to know intuitively.
I'd like to see if you do a video demonstrating use cases and comparing each model; obviously for real art use that may have to go to an artist's channel but many other tasks it's a good way to distinguish the different sizes and their uses.
Eg Lines of code if "coding" in landscape that is at a reasonable font size or number of cells of excel for office work. In both cases it's appreciated that coding is limited on native apps and the MS Office Apps are a little watered-down but nonetheless still worth checking this sort of thing amongst other real world "USABILITY" testing or practical use. They're a little more insightful than synethic tests eg benchmarking and so on even if those are informative considering other hardware.
Again contrasting multi-tasking using Stage-Manager and Split screen are useful too. It would be good to see battery life for running Safari in multiple tabs and running apps to simulate a work day 9-5 (8hrs) and how the battery holds up for extension beyond battery stress testing with highly demanding uses eg streaming or gaming. Another area that eats battery is using the Pencil for writing or drawing is noticeable in "Apps Battery Use" function on the iPad is another area to check. Some info on WiFi or 5G speeds using applications that are over the network/cloud would be good to see along with bluetooth connected devices to see if there's any lag or compatibility issues.
I'm sure many more such micro-practical tests could be conducted.
What about WiFi vs Cellular? Which do you guys recommend? IS the Cellular worth the extra?
It depends what do you use it for
I always buy the wifi version of the iPad Pro and just use my cell as a hotspot because I have unlimited data on that.
Still using 2018 iPad Pro ……❤❤❤
I hope we get a battery comparison soon with all iPads
I look forward to comparison of 13 inch M4 iPad Pro with new Surface Pro Copilot Snapdragon with OLED. I use my Surface Pro far more than my iPad Pro 2018 simply because it can do more with full Windows 11. With new Copilot and OLED maybe Surface Pro will at least pull even with iPad Pro for power along with current more functionality.
Call this old fashioned thinking, but the 11 inch is more impressive because apple fits all that hardware and more battery into a smaller form factor. It really can't be any smaller than 11 inch but it can be infinitely bigger. So 11 inch is the superior machine. This was the common sense thinking for 12 inch ibook over 14 inch back in the day, but it was more intuitive to think this way in the past because tech was always trying to get smaller not bigger.
Is the number row keyboard still limited to the bigger size ipad ? I do not know how Apple keeps getting away with such annoying basic missing functionalities on such an expensive devices ….
How does the 13" Ipad Pro speakers compare to the 14" and 16" Macbook Pro?
It’s not as good. Less bass. It’s not bad, but the MacBook Pro have better bass and more fidelity
@@AnthonyBencomo ok thank you
I'm honestly so on the fence. I can not decide with size to go for. I have a writing business and currently have a 13 in laptop I use and a 12.4 in tablet(both Samsung) I recently switched ecosystems to Apple with my phone and as my laptop and tablet are now 3 and 4 years old, I am looking to replace them with Apple products. I will likely be using the ipad as my main device, but I want it to be versitile and able to slip into my slim shoulder bag to be used everywhere. I am not really a big fan of how thin the ipads are now, but I am too used to OLED to go to anything else.
I got the 11 inch no keyboard or pen yet, main use is film watching in bed and some games, also have a pc but I think I made right choice returned a galaxy tab s9+ for it and it’s much better
Nice & Thanks :)
For a primary device I’d say go 12.9”/13”, if it’s a secondary device go 11”. I have my 14” MacBook Pro M1 Pro so the 11” is a great secondary to that.
Awesome video as always. But you got the weight reduction information from M2 to M4 iPad Pro completely wrong:
iPad Pro 11” M2 = 466g
iPad Pro 11” M4 = 444g
Weight reduction = 22g or 4.7%. Not “11% Lighter” like you said.
iPad Pro 12.9” M2 = 682g
iPad Pro 13” M4 = 579g
Weight reduction = 103g or 15.1%. Not “25% Lighter” like you said.
Besides camera placement, is the m2 ipad pro better than the m2 ipad air?
Yes m2 ipad pro is way better than the m2 air...your getting the mini led screen xdr display and the 120hz pro motion refresh rate, with those 2 extras alone get the m2 ipad pro!
Only the 12.9” M2 pro has mini led XDR display. I currently own the M2 11” pro and it’s just an LCD
I'm getting the 13" to accompany my 14" MBP. The bigger screen real estate for sheet music and procreate is ideal for my use case. I'll be taking the iPad to work to replace my work laptop, and my MBP will be at home for all my heavy lifting/light gaming. Yes I could revert back to Mac Studio, but the portability option is great, and currently iOS doesn't support Windows Parallels. Great comparisons, it's great to be reassured.
Nice video
I can’t wait for the cybertruck video!
Which one is more comfortable to read with? Specifically textbooks, and probably holding with one hand for hours on end.
11 inch
Can you do IPad Pro M2 vs Air M2
Maybe I’m tripping but the 11inch seemed brighter than the 13inch. Gr8 stuff tho. 🤟🏽
11 inch is better. 13 inch is way too big.
Agreed. For an iPad, 11" is the max size. For laptop substitution I understand the 13", but is always a personal preference. By the way, I am using a 13” right now, and indeed is slimmer and lighter enough to use as a tablet… but after hours of use some find it uncomfortable.
@@edmundoa1935 Also agreed, but I'd like to throw in that even the new M4 iPad Pros can not substitute for a Mac/MacBook, even if Apple likes to pretend this in order to sell the 13".
Thats not what she said
Each year there’s a debate over which size is better. It really is subjective to each person and there needs and wants. I prefer the 13” and have the ipad mini for around the house.
I’ve found majority of women will choose the 11 inch over the 13 very similar to the Apple Watches sizes. Being a dude I decided to go with the 13 inch. If you are looking to carry your iPad in a small plastic Teletubbies lunchbox I’d definitely recommend the 11. With a dedicated bag and normal arm strength it makes the 13 completely manageable.
I really was looking for a iPad mini upgrade I would’ve bought that hands down no questions asked. But wow I was let down.😢
go for the 11
