    Can’t imagine the meats having much flavor when just being boiled with a slice of lemon and a single herb leaf/stalk. But the foundation is there. I’m willing to try some of these.

      I usually cook salmon on a bed of salt in the oven... skin down... no need to add anything on top except a spoon of teryiaki sauce when its done... it goes well with everything.... and for boiled chicken (yuck) just make a chopped garlic, salt , lemon and parsley sauce... no fats... a whole new chicken is born :)

      I kind of agree but it is a very quick way to cook and the lemon etc in the water helps out a lot. Makes the dish quick and easy in many respects

    For the Salmon salad I would recommend keeping the Cucumber skin on as it contains a lot of fiber and will keep you full. That’s the goal when losing weight, stay full for longer so you don’t over consume.

    by throwing away the broccoli stalk you've thrown away 90% of the nutrients of the vegetable, the stalk is the lifeline

      If one doesn’t wanna eat it as it, it is excellent to make vegetable stock. Same with peel etc from vegetables, just rinse and boil on low with some salt and bay leaves. Good base for curries etc, and pretty much free. The stalk is my favourite part to eat though lol, I take off the hard other casing and cube

    I note most dont realize the true season in the garlic,onions, peppers, bay leaves. With those ingredients when extracted you dont need to many sodium seasons add that blots you raise blood pressure and dehydrates.

  • @danapertile106
    @danapertile106 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Actually, most vegetables are carbs. Especially tomatoes, onion, corn... etc. They are especially high in carbs. From my point of view, your dishes are not low-carb and high-protein ones. They are of the regular amount of protein and a regular amount of carbs. But they are healthy, so if you really eat like this (and no chocolate, etc.), then you must lose weight. To me, this kind of diet is good.
