What I do know is that this dish is popular in Yemen, Tunisia, Algeria, Egypt, Palestine, and North Africa in general ..We grew up eating it in Egypt, and I used to watch my grandma prepare it and then my mom too, Some believe that Its origin is Moroccan, while others believe that Its origin is from the Levant, such as Jordan, Syria and Lebanon, but this dish entered North Africa in the 16th century when tomatoes were introduced to the region which includes Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria..... Egypt has a strategic location, as it's included in the countries of North Africa, as well as the countries of the Middle East, the Arab countries, the Mediterranean countries, and the Red Sea countries, but we are known to be Middle Easterners. So..Of course, I'm Middle Eastern and I love Shakshuka.

In Winter, when it’s cold, we might have porridge with milk and cinnamon or a dab of jam. I often just have a banana and maybe a portion of yogurt.

if there's anything about this channel that isn't extraordinary, I haven't found it. Extremely inspiring, if admittedly as a would be cook, humbling. Admittedly, he does have access to better ingredients (locally we have no fresh bread, no cheese, and no fresh ham, and our eggs are industrial), but the breadth and depth of his dishes are borderline unreal. Not to mention utterly delectable. And 'Whiskey' still comes close to stealing the show.
If you put butter in the microwave on high for one minute, it will explode. Why? Butter contains milk solids and water, as it melts, the water goes to the bottom with the mild solids. Very quickly the water boils but it is under the clarified butter, pressure builds in a matter of seconds and BAM!! it is all over the inside of your microwave and will take you at least five minutes to clean up the mess. Low and slow or suffer the consequences.
Somehow I have just stumbled upon your channel as of late last night. I was instantly mesmerized by all aspects of your video! Sights and sounds were exquisite and thoroughly appreciated the limited talking to enjoy the scenery and music. Although I have viewed a few other channels that offered incredible recipes with great tutorials, your channel has made an impact on me and will be my go to.
