Just pointing a firearm at someone without a justifiable reason is a felony, even if the firearm isn't loaded. I'm amazed she simply walked away from this ordeal without any guilty verdict.
@@WackyAmoebatrons in the US, you can only be tried once for what the state charges you with. That’s the double jeopardy law. If, however, significant evidence surfaces that gives a possibility of a different verdict, the state can refile for indictment which is the first step to prosecution.
@@WackyAmoebatrons The accused has the right under the Sixth Amendment to the US Constitution to know the charges against him. We also still have a grand jury system for felonies, so the prosecutor presents specific charges to the grand jury, and they either vote to indict or not. So yes, the jury can only find a defendant guilty of the crimes he's been indicted for. When I was a jury foreman, we had several charges to choose from for both homicides one man committed, namely First Degree Murder, Second Degree Murder, voluntary manslaughter, and involuntary manslaughter. If you're acquitted, you can never be tried by the state again for that crime, although if it's also a Federal crime, like kidnapping, the Feds can try and convict you of the same crime.
A lot of people do worse just short of murdering someone and then the person who was victimized by it becomes one of the suspects too if they ever called themselves part of a couple before that. In this case Dr. Grande was trying to explain why some people in law enforcement sometimes see it in part that way. Not being married before sleeping with someone increases the chances that law enforcement and other people will start getting curious about how the 2 people became a couple in the first place if both manage to survive the ordeal when something went terribly wrong. Both men and women who are prone in their own pattern of behavior too in abusing and doing violence enough to harm or kill someone like to use the same old same old kind of list of excuses as to why they felt the need to murder someone which is nothing at all new.

I live in GA and I have not heard of this case........ interesting as always, love Dr.Grande's videos!!
Oh Dr G.! "The seldom heard of cousin of the Tooth Fairy known as 'The Trigger Pull Fairy.'" Priceless as always. I've learned not to be drinking coffee when I watch your videos every morning to avoid spitting it across the room! Thanks for all you do!
Excellent stuff Dr Grande. Sadly some of this is relalatable to me and I agree with your analysis and opinion about those kind of toxic relationships amd why they must end. It's a hard truth but ultimately the right one. I'd like to watch more content where you've discussed BPD (as mentioned in one of your last videos) I'm sure you have made some so I'll be playing catch up a little. Keep up the good work.
Awesome true crime account. Dr. Grande you are so astute in this analysis. 💜💙💜
Thanks a lot for teaching us. 💜💙💜
At 7:10 marker “he said he was running from Satan. When someone has a chance to run away from Satan they should take it” this is why I will always listen to and watch Dr. Todd I almost spit out my wine cooler. Great insight and dead pan humor. P.S. I like how your shirt colors are expanding and how you keep rearranging the plants. Thanks for intelligent content
I love it I'm subscribed been there for a long time. But I like the other background where you were just sitting by that computer I think it was.
The ONLY channel we watch/listen to. Sterling character. Brilliant.
Just a reminder I'm not diagnosing anybody in this video; only speculating what could be happening when a gun goes off while no one is pressing the trigger.
😂😂😂🇬🇧
Good afternoon Dr Grande. Great analysis. Thank you Dr Grande, you are the best!
Hi, Dr. Grande! I thought of a request; Eric Smith. He killed a 4 year old boy at the age of 13 in upstate New York. He had a particularly interesting defense claim, which many people found to be controversial. Thank you!
Wow! What an impressive summation. Thank you Dr.
I do enjoy his dry wit. He'll throw a little joke in there and keep going with a straight face the whole time.
Love the content, Doc!
Amazing video! Would you be able to do a video on Albert Fish? I haven’t seen many videos on him and his case is truly harrowing.
Do a breakdown of the Jodi Arias case please:) Awesome Vid!! Love the underhanded humor you have, you're getting comfortable with your content, and in that, you are very easy to watch. Your breakdowns and insight, are awesome!! Glad your channel has shown that growth!!
Great analysis thank you
I’m behind on the dr grande lore - I need more information on his extensive knowledge of firearms!
does private hudson now have a companion? lookin' good doc, that purple really ties the doctor grande together
I love hanging out with Dr Grande.
Could you analyse leonard lake and charles NG
I can do an analysis, they were two demented lunatics 😲
ohhhh ... scary scary guys - good call!
Who's here for the zingers?! 🙋🏻♀️🙋🏼♀️🙋♂️🙋🏿🙋🏾♀️🙋🏼
🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️
When your story changes so often , even your defense lawyer can't save you .
You are very educated and articulate with firearm models and their structures/stats... it’s making me wonder if you partake in the art of shooting these glorious beasts of self protection, precision, and badassery.. hmm.. if not, kudos on your knowledge ^__^
Another brilliant analysis good sir! I just heard about this case, and was perplexed at multiple points. It’s a shame the static ruined the confession. She definitely took full advantage of that malfunction. She is a peculiar “victim” isn’t she? 😬
I can't believe I hadn't heard of this one!!! Super weird and interesting case presented with that great Dr. Grande spin!!!
i really needed the last message at the end of the video. really opened my eyes to stuff
Talk about Kelly Ann Conway and her daughter Claudia’s tiktoks.
Yesssssssss 👏👏👏👏
Is that a request or an order?
As always, your analysis makes total sense Dr G and still glad to hear you peppering in that sarcastic humor. Hehe.keep up the good work!
Great video. I am a numbers guy and get giddy as Grande's subscriber list goes up and up and up...
610k....👏👏👏👏
I can hear the commercial now "🎶MAGIC TRIGGER!🎶" "🎶come on, Americans, get your magic trigger!!🎶" (I live in Alabama, everyone has a gun...except for me)
Where I live we have guns everywhere but you kind of have to have one
I'm very fascinated by the fact that two individuals on the jury were able to sway the opinions of the other 10 individuals. That seems remarkable, particularly with a case such as this. I'd be so curious to know what arguments the two used and how that played out.
Dr. Grande:
Absolutely Grande:
Me: Dr. Grande can you analyze people who write comments in this format?
I like how you have the plants arranged!
All the gun info just went over my head 😲 But, more importantly, you have gone totally out of your comfort zone with that violet shirt 😍 Loved the pink, my favorite color!!! I'm proud of you Dr G!!
Dr. Grande analogies and jokes makes an already interesting video ten times more enjoyable
"Low' this' Dr. Grande"
Love that intro! 😁
You are right the government should do a better job, but she should not have gotten off. I believe she’ll do it again, but better. Thank you again Dr. Grande.
Dr. Grande, have you seen the docuseries The Devil Next Door on Netflix? I would love to hear your thoughts/opinions on it!
Interesting case.Thank you for your brilliant analysis Dr. Grande.
Love your content, Doc! I must point out, the dimensions for pressure are Force / Area. (Like Newtons /Sq meter) The unit you represented for how hard the trigger should be pulled was “pounds of force”.
I’ve just been informed that trigger weight (which isn’t weight), is an industry term represented in pounds. You know more about guns than I do, which is essentially nothing. It sounds incorrect to an engineer who is unfamiliar with guns. My apologies.
