Hi Dr Grande, I would love to hear your analysis of Hillary 'Hilaria' Baldwin and the recent drama/revelation surrounding her misleading people about her heritage. I'm sure your take would be very interesting and amusing!
Awesome analysis. This is another good one to look at... He pulled out a gun and shot it into the ceiling during a recording session with John Lennon sometime in the 70s.. He was known to carry pistols and act like a ding-dong with them.
True.. Lennon got really angry because it was so loud, it made his ears ring for hours.. Spector really blew a great opportunity when Lennon gave him free hands to Produce him. He was almost like a different person on the "Imagine Sessions". Where Phil seemed kind and gentle and sang harmonies with Lennon. And it was reverse.. Lennon made Phil sing again and again on the harmonies to "Oh Yoko". He was used to doing easy 3-pice harmonies in one take with Paul and George.. Still Lennon always spoke kindly of him.. Lennon had to record and produce the whole album by himself 8 months later. He produced it in 1 week. "Stand by Me" sounds great to my ears.. He never needed Spector after all..

I"m always impressed with your insights and sense of humor--- you cover some dark, heavy topics, but keep it professional, respectful, and yet always manage to sneak in those deadpan one-liners when we least expect it.
The _how'd the gun come out_ and *history of threatening girlfriends with guns* is the stinky set of details that deserves a +1 to the Manslaughter charge. The fine detail of what really may have happened is fascinating given his detachment disorder/TMI but the run up to the tragedy can't help but look like punctuation to a life of dumb, cruel and horrifying decisions in his private life.

Could you do an episode on Traumatic Brain Injury in general? I used to work with people with TBI. They could be rehabilitated, but there was something about them even years later that made their thought processes “different,” no matter what specific part of the brain was involved.
Thanks for making it seem like we're all a bunch of criminals. The vast majority of TBI is mild and there is a high recovery rate. If the injury is significant enough to require in-patient neuro-rehab then clearly substantial damage was done to the brain. You'd think "differently" too if that happened. And as anyone who works with TBI knows, each injury is so individual. So I'm not sure what generalization about thought processes you are trying to make. Furthermore, I doubt you had much scientific knowledge about TBI for your professional role, because diffuse axonal injury doesn't happen to a "specific part of the brain" which is what makes prognoses so challenging.
Tonight “likeability suppressant” has officially been added to my lexicon...I’ll reference you and your channel as often as possible. 👍🏼💗💖💗👍🏼 Another excellent video.

Dr. Grande, when more information is available, could you please do a video on the Christmas Day bomber Anthony Quinn Warner of Nashville, TN? You do great work.
The TBI, signs of BPD, and history of a volatile personality all add up to a disturbed individual. The TBI and other factors also make manslaughter a feasible verdict. Absolutely nailed it, Dr. G!
"He did what he did what he always did: pointing wapons on women" this sentence shouldn't exist ffs😩 i think 2. Would love to see another Dr. Grande video more in depth on Spector’s personality and history - it is intense. His first hit single was “to know him is to love him” by the teddy bears - which was the epitaph on his father’s grave, whom at a young age Spector found dead of suicide. Along with his musical innovations came some of the most intense NPD I’ve ever heard of, like when he compares himself to Galileo, or basically confessing in the documentary , which may be the ultimate narcissism. Please go deeper on Phil, Dr. Grande!
Wait! Those are wigs??? My bubble just burst 💥 and I’m sorely disappointed. I really wanted to know how long it took for all that craziness to take place.

Dr. Grande, I really appreciate that you understand certain details about firearms, such as the trigger pull effort on a revolver in double-action and single-action mode. I imagine that a large number of clinicians (and most people who work in media) have no inkling as to how firearms work at all, let alone that the trigger pull on a revolver is quite heavy or that they can fire in one of two modes. Many wheelguns have a 12 pound pull in double action mode and 4-5 pounds in single action mode. In the Jeremy DeWitte video, you noted details about the vehicles that police impersonators drive. Good on you for being obsessive enough about details (as I am) in order to speak knowledgeably.

I very much NEED an analisis of the Ezra McCandless case!! I've seen the entire trial, but do not hey her motives behind it! I'd love for you to hice your take on the thing.
Poor Phil Spector testified in a 2005 court deposition that he had been treated for bipolar disorder ("manic depression") for eight years, saying, "No sleep, depression, mood changes, mood swings, hard to live with, hard to concentrate, just hard-a hard time getting through life, I've been called a genius and I think a genius is not there all the time and has borderline insanity."
How awful for this women to lose her life like that. She would be 60 in April. Life is the most precious gift from God and is short matter how long you live. To have someone take away the years you have left is such a diabolical crime.
Omg can you please do all the hoopla surrounding Hilary Baldwin. Lol is it more like the lady "Rachael dolozal' (sp) I love your topics dr. G. U never miss a beat!!! Thank you for making 2020 tolerable.
Dr. Grande would you please talk about people who go from being extremely nice and polite to extremely aggressive and physically violent, for no significant reason, just like a light switch went off. In my experience it’s so confusing being in an abusive relationship because the abuser almost suffers from two personalities at the very opposite spectrum... Thank you and Merry Christmas!
I think Spector was someone used to getting away with things because of his stature. And was used to getting what he wanted because of his fame. The theory that she tried to leave and he got angry seems legit for me. I believe it was definitely an intentional murder. Thank you Dr Grande for the analysis! You always make my day!

Bad lawyers, prostitution was name of the game, old man playing with a gun because his little gun no work, drunk old rapist shrunken weak cannot be subdued by a strong 6 foot amazon. His past actions proves it was a possble rape or game gone bad accident. Most rapists are not murderers silly. That was not Sector`s style. Games people play. Guns are dangerous silly Spector. Talk to Leonard Cohen when Spector pulled gun and with John Lennon. Spector was a spoiled rotten, prveledged rapist etc, but not a murderer. Manslaughter no motive my man. She would not have been afraid by that little squirt and money honey she was broke eviction notice. She went home him money.
Your dry wit blended with 'tongue in cheek' observations are priceless.
Hi Dr Grande, I would love to hear your analysis of Hillary 'Hilaria' Baldwin and the recent drama/revelation surrounding her misleading people about her heritage. I'm sure your take would be very interesting and amusing!
Oh no, its like Rachel Dolezal all over again. 💃 Ole!
and do her psycho husband.
Awesome analysis. This is another good one to look at...
He pulled out a gun and shot it into the ceiling during a recording session with John Lennon sometime in the 70s.. He was known to carry pistols and act like a ding-dong with them.
That's true and he made lennon play the same guitar chord 30 something times till John said they're all the same.
Apparently pulled a gun on Ramones as well...made them listen to a song dozens of times consecutively..sheesh
@@geraldfriend256 He was Married to Ronnie. The lead singer of the Ronnettes..he was horribly abusive..
Kind of like a really ugly Clint Eastwood in 'Outlaw Josey Wales.' with an ugly wig on.
Dr. Grande, can you do a video about people who are chronically unemployed and the anxiety that might come with that? I'd love to know your perspective.
Thank you! Such an interesting human!! Such a sad story-- thanks for all your hard work for us - your helping us all get through this Pandemic by entertaining our brains 🧠
Dr. Grande, I might add that “likability suppressant” deserves to be on a T-shirt, as some viewers pointed out.
And of course, The Alien Lizard People as well..🦎👍🏼😉
Dr Todd Grande so much the physician i worked with when I worked in maximum security forensic psychiatric facilities. I was just the LVN/PSYCHIATRIC TECHNICIAN/ MED NURSE. I was the low level taking care taking nursing notes. Your amazing, clear and helpful examination of these particular cases makes me comfortable.
"Likability Supressant" is almost as good as John Oliver's "Options Paralysis". It's Grande's love of the English language that keeps me coming back for more 😉
I"m always impressed with your insights and sense of humor--- you cover some dark, heavy topics, but keep it professional, respectful, and yet always manage to sneak in those deadpan one-liners when we least expect it.
Hi, how do you make -italics- in the text ? Thankyou.
😂😂... Don't you know who I am? A likability suppressant. That burn was snuck in so unexpectedly, that I just burst into laughter😘
It's a shame, Phil Spector was an amazing record producer.
Creator of the 'Wall of sound.'
@@istateyourname4710 Yup.
He really should have gotten help instead of jail. He even looks insane.
@@lf9341 No, absolutely not.
@@lf9341 no dude murdered someone, he deserved to die in prison. dude is a psycho- and sociopath to the point where his ego thought he could get away with anything. if you can defend a murderer then you're just as bad as Spector. you need help man
As usual , an excellent analysis by our Dr.Grande .
The man sure had interesting taste in wigs.
I guess he was a wigger
They picked him. Not the other way around. I can't believe he has that bad a taste.
@@odemu2074 yo mama!
Have you seen the state of the wigs on the street? .....nothing new here
"Both a sheep suit and a tiger suit would be pretty warm and somewhat itchy." Another memorable quote from Dr. G. 🤣
Could you do an episode on Traumatic Brain Injury in general? I used to work with people with TBI. They could be rehabilitated, but there was something about them even years later that made their thought processes “different,” no matter what specific part of the brain was involved.
I would also like to see a video on this!
“Not the least of which is that both the sheep suit and the tiger suit would be pretty warm and somewhat itchy.” LOL...😂😂😂😂
Btw, that was a lovable way of saying “De Souza.”
Great analysis with well-placed and tasteful humor, thank you Dr. Grande!❤️
Dr. Grande, when more information is available, could you please do a video on the Christmas Day bomber Anthony Quinn Warner of Nashville, TN? You do great work.
I'm famous and do what ever I want disorder..
Exceptional analysis. I've been waiting for this since I've known you. Thank you.
Phil Specter looks an awful lot like Momo. I sense a conspiracy here.
Why would you remind me of momo?! 😨
I clicked thinking it was an analysis of the Momo hysteria...
@@claytongoode5715 That would be a good topic for Dr. G. to analyze!
The TBI, signs of BPD, and history of a volatile personality all add up to a disturbed individual. The TBI and other factors also make manslaughter a feasible verdict. Absolutely nailed it, Dr. G!
Yup. Taxes and death. Both inevitable.
Dr. Grande - please make Likability Suppressant merch!
Yes! "Don't you know who I am?" On one side.
Logo for the drug on the other. ;)
The advise you give at the end of this video is the best part for the viewer.
Great video as always. I think that Spector's wigs deserve an analysis video of their own. They're quite hair-raising.
As a teacher, your analogies are really sharp and easy to understand. Loved this analysis - well done.
"He did what he did what he always did: pointing wapons on women" this sentence shouldn't exist ffs😩 i think 2. Degree is legitimate, if a person is Handling a gun they have to be willing to kill, otherwise they don't handle a weapon. So no doubt he did that intentionally, not planned, but intentionally because he didn't got what he wanted and wanted to punish her
I don't speak Gibberish, sorry.
@@nobbynoris gibberish? Sorry, i'm not a native speaker, do you mind explaining to me what you mean?
Would love to see another Dr. Grande video more in depth on Spector’s personality and history - it is intense. His first hit single was “to know him is to love him” by the teddy bears - which was the epitaph on his father’s grave, whom at a young age Spector found dead of suicide. Along with his musical innovations came some of the most intense NPD I’ve ever heard of, like when he compares himself to Galileo, or basically confessing in the documentary , which may be the ultimate narcissism. Please go deeper on Phil, Dr. Grande!
Definitely a serious case however my Gallows humour thinks his wigs need therapy. Sound analysis Sir👍.
Wait! Those are wigs??? My bubble just burst 💥 and I’m sorely disappointed. I really wanted to know how long it took for all that craziness to take place.
Wonder what they did with all those wigs? Probably auctioned them off. No takers, I bet.
Who wouldn’t want Dr Grande as a professor. Would be one of the few who allows others to have their own beliefs and opinions. Cheers and Happy New Year doc!
I was at the HOB foundation room that night with several friends and spent a while chatting with Lana Clarkson. She was very nice and down to earth and friendly. We were shocked the next day to hear the news.
That lovely "shade" of sarcasm looks so good on you, Dr. Grande.😉
OMG i suggested this case a few weeks ago! Thank you!
Another gem! I work 3rd shift and Dr Grande's videos always make my night!
He looked like Sideshow Bob in that one still😂😆
😂
😂😂😂😂😂
lol. He did! Ahaha!!
Hi Dr. Grande my mother end I can’t get enough you ., you are precise and to the point.
"'Don't you know who I am?': a common phrase used by celebrities to suppress likeability." Dr. Grande is hilarious!
Likability suppressant!! LOL! Your humor just keeps getting better and better Dr. G!
Would you do a video on his hair next? Even more mysterious...
His hair did it.
😝lmao
Not a likability suppressant?!?!? 😂😂😂😂😂 we need merch with that phrase on it! Lol 😂🤣😂🤣😂 Thank you for the awesome & much needed laughter, Dr. Grande. 😊
Certainly doesn’t carry the ‘good looking’ gene Dr. Grande? Loved this one 😂
Ha ha
Neither did his wigs.
Love your sense of humor Dr Grande,. it always surprises me when I catch on to what you've said. Interesting video, thank you.
“Not consistent with a good impression”...haha. Too funny!
I would love somebody to as to me "don't u know who I am?' Just so I could shout out "does anyone know who this is? He/she appears to have forgotten!"
DeSouza was waiting for a bang, but didn't expect that one. That picture of Spector without his wig, was beautiful editing. Scared the willies out of me.
"Don't you know who i am?...a common phrase used by celebrities as a likeability suppressant"....
Buwahaha!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Awesome video as always, Dr. Grade!
How awful for this women to lose her life like that. She would be 60 in April. Life is the most precious gift from God and is short matter how long you live. To have someone take away the years you have left is such a diabolical crime.
Dr Grande, thanks for a year of great content. Your analysis helps me to see situations from a different perspective. ❤️
@Dr. Todd Grande how about a video on Hilaria Baldwin speaking with a Spanish accent and pretending for years that she was born in Spain?
Your brains plus your sence of humor equal a palatable plate of knowledge. Thank you.
Spector flipped his wig.
🤣😂
So happy to get my Dr. Grande fix today.
Should have been arrested for that hairstyle alone!
Omg can you please do all the hoopla surrounding Hilary Baldwin. Lol is it more like the lady "Rachael dolozal' (sp) I love your topics dr. G. U never miss a beat!!! Thank you for making 2020 tolerable.
@@spiritmatter1553 I requested that quite awhile ago, and it’s on his list! 😊
I have an aunt who does this minus the physical violence part. She’s all verbal.
I was in an abusive relationship for 4 years that’s how my ex was it was like a dr jeckyl mr Hyde situation
I think Spector was someone used to getting away with things because of his stature. And was used to getting what he wanted because of his fame. The theory that she tried to leave and he got angry seems legit for me. I believe it was definitely an intentional murder. Thank you Dr Grande for the analysis! You always make my day!
"he was doing what he always did, threatening a woman with a gun"
Another great video, Dr. G!
