Puritan King James I. was told his whole shitshow of a life that witches and catholics are out to kill him, so he allowed children's testimony in case of witch Trias (for All other crime it was forbidden for children to testify because they are to malleable.) Just as the other characters in this saga aren't particularly credible and have potential motive to lie, or who knows even paid for their testimony. Nothing to convict her imo. they mean that other guy who killed his wife for having an affair with Cory.
      it happened AFTER Cory’s death.
so Cory was sleeping with this other woman, then Cory was murdered, then the husband of said woman murders her and kills himself.
they say that maybe the woman found out or suspected that her husband killed Cory, her lover, and intended to report the husband, so he killed both her and himself.

Local cops and County DA gave the shooter cop a get out of jail free card. Local police department punted. Investigation was in slow motion until public interest subsided. DA "took it to the grand jury" and then declining to file charges. If it has been an ordinary citizen they would have been in jail on the day of the event. State tried to prosecute later but did not get a conviction.

Shouldn’t be this easy to convict someone without real evidence. It’s far better to let a guilty person go on lack of evidence than it is to convict an innocent person, this is exactly why our justice system is supposed to be better than this. I think she probably did it but it should always be what you can prove

    • @YTStoleMyUsername

Exactly, there's at least a half dozen other people who have motive and could've done it. Yet no evidence. I wonder if they had no way to do DNA testing once it became available? I'm guessing they just let the case go cold. Odd though that as soon as a girl recalls a 27 yr old memory they jump on the chance to covict... based solely on someone's unreliable long term memory. Very scary this is allowed as this could happen to anyone.
