6.10 is the best episode of GoT thus far imo. By far the most Epic season finale I've ever seen in my life, of any television show.

Love the part with Tyrion and Dany where he kneeled for her, very symbolic because she doesn't ask him to do it. Joffrey had demanded it and he refused.
Right? I love that moment... finaly someone respects him the way he deserves. He is exactly what she needs, because we saw that she isn't particulary good at the 'ruling alone' thingy
+Ellyonn Drist I agree. One of Dany's strengths is that she learns from experience. She is self-aware enough to know that ruling is not her strong point, but she uses another one of her strengths, the ability to inspire devotion, to make Tyrion, perhaps the best "practical" ruler in the world, her Hand. They make an awesome team, imo.
Aeroangel think about how much Tyrion is fan boying. He's read about the targaryens all his life and know more about them then her !

I hate to admit that I’ve seen this episode like a dozen times so far and only recently did I notice that the girl serving Walder Frey the “Frey pie” was using “my lord” instead of “m’lord.” George R.R. was careful to telegraph that when Arya was serving Tywin in season two and I totally missed it until now.

Actually Arya never served Tywin Lanninster in the books...
And we don’t know how the Frey scene will play out in the books, if it even happens. You can be pretty sure that George was behind the idea of Arya saying “my lord” to Tywin in season 2 because he knew this scene was coming in season 6. George has been big on helping D.B. and David shape the series.

Your reaction at 3:05 is the best I have seen from a reactor so far. You figured out that R+L=J perfectly. What I've seen so far was either reactors confirming their suspicion or being too confused to realize who Jon's father must be. This was the most fun to watch!

Love that look that Tyrion and Danny share on the boat at the end also does anyone else think that the actress playing Dany looks like she's trying really hard not to look like she freezing cold😬

If you check out Missandei (Nathalie Emmanuel) in that same scene, she is shaking with cold too.
would be cool if they were told to look that way for a transition into their eastern clothes in the colder weather.

If you look in the background, you can spot Tyrell sails along with Dorne's, Greyjoy and Targaryen. I reckon Dorne and Tyrell ships met up with Daenerys' fleet in the midst of the Narrow Sea. Hence Varys' presence with Team Daenerys
Actually the writers confirmed that Danny's fleet was beginning their journey in Slaver's Bay / Bay of Dragons when 6x10 ends. The Tyrell and Dorne ships we see were there because Varys had returned to Meereen before she set off. Time does not move the same for each story and character in the show. When we see Varys in Dorne and later with Danny, it's because weeks, maybe even months have gone by.
+ Joe Mags The scene that follows begins with Daario saying, "Your ships are almost ready. I saw them painting the sails." I think this was meant to show that some time had elapsed between Varys saying, "Fire and Blood," and the cut to Dany, which otherwise appears to be instantaneous.
It's true that in the previous episode, Tyrion was concerned that the Masters' fleet and Yara's fleet wouldn't be enough to transport all of Dany's troops, so the Dornish and Reach fleets would be useful to pick up more soldiers.
I waited for this from Day 1. Dany sailing to Westeros. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 .

We're all so glad you weren't spoiled! I made the mistake of googling "R+L=J". I figured it was just a theory, so it couldn't be a spoiler. ARRGHH!! Only a small number of reactors didn't know about the theory, so seeing your reaction was PURE GOLD.

A little thought: Jon being Rhaegar's son means that when he was talking to Maester Aemon, he was talking to his great-great-uncle and he didn't even know it.

Cersei is the second queen Westeros has had, Rhaenyra Targaryen was the first.
Iain Goldie Yeah, if you ask the historians at the Citadel, Rhaenyra was a rebel pretender, not a queen, and Aegon II was the king.
Iain Goldie I thought Rhaenyra was the rightful heir, too, because Viserys II never changed it, even after he had sons.
Of course Cersei claim is disputed.

Cersie sitting on the iron throne scene was epic. I loved that entire scene the atmosphere in throne room, the music, the stare and how the camera pans out at the end. In my opinion that should have been the last scene of the season because when you play the game you win or you die and Cersie definitely won the game for now.

Watching you realise Jon is a Targaryen literally gave me goosebumps and made me tear up! :) I remember watching this last year and screaming the house down at 2am when everyone was sleeping 😂 it's an epic episode. It's been amazing going through all of this show again with your reactions George, thank you. ♡

Best. Episode. Ever! So much craziness and so much goodness!!! I had the same reaction as most people about Varys being "back," but when you go back and watch it again, notice there are Tyrell and Martell sigils on several of the ships. I think they were actually sailing from Dorne. It wouldn't make sense for that fleet to sail to Meereen only to double back. That means that in that final scene Dany was already in Westeros!!!! I could be wrong, but it just makes sense.
YAAAASSS! That's why Varys went to Dorne, and then they requested Lady Olenna to join them. House Tyrell hadn't yet been obliterated when he left, so I'm sure he was informed not too long after. There are Martell and Tyrell ships helping carry Daenerys and her soldiers with Yara and Theon's rogue Iron Fleet.

George, I did finally manage to catch most of the livestream by using my boyfriend's computer. I'm on an old dinosaur, but his is pretty new. I think that's why I had no picture or sound. Was able to see the uploaded version of it on my own computer, though. It's been great going on this journey with you and I'm glad you got caught up in time to experience season 7 with the rest of us. Hoping that some of the others who are now at season 4/5 will also be caught up by then. For your own enjoyment, go watch MareckProductions reaction to this episode. Marco was 100% unspoiled for the Tower of Joy (thanks to Ali!). Also, Hunter Boyle figured this out on her own .... ON CAMERA ... in her post-video review to Season 6, Episode 4. Go watch that one, too. It's beautiful to be able to see the light going on in her head (she kept great notes and that's what made it click for her). Congrats!

George, did you notice that there were Dorne and Tyrell ships at the end. This is critical since Highgarden are the second wealthiest family and the most fertile region in the seven kingdoms. We saw how King's Landing suffered in terms of food shortages in Season 2 and Summer had just ended. Winter won't do them any favours.
And also, the tree in which Bran discovered Jon's lineage was the same tree that Jon swore his vows in front of. And Qyburn was made Cersei's Hand. Bring on season 7!

I was watching the live stream - I thought I was done crying when watching episodes 9 and 10 of this season. Nope. Watching them with you made me bawl like the first time I saw them.
Rhaeneyra Targaryen was the first Queen. She didn’t have a husband, when her father died he named her Heir, and then her younger half brother Aegon V stole it from her shortly after her fathers death. This started the dance of the dragons, when all the dragons died. A Targaryen Civil War

Welcome to the wait! One month to go before season 7!
You should know then, that if Lyanna and Rhaegar were actually married in secret, cause multiple wives was a thing in that family, then Jon is ACTUALLY the one who is supposed to be King of Westeros, not Dany. Cause Dany would be his aunt, but Rhaegar was the Crown Prince, therefore his children, especially male, would be next in line.
I am SO happy you weren't spoiled about Jon's parentage. I knew you had heard R+L=J before, and I was worried you had figured it out. So many reactors already knew by this point. This was the best reaction, your mind was utterly blown. XD

The ending of this got me so HYPED. So proud of my dragon queen baby, just yes. So much YES. So.many.ships. TOO MUCH. All those Targaryen sails and Daenerys finally dressed in the right colors! There is one big mystery yet to be revealed concerning this: Did R and L marry in secret? If so, then that gives J a stronger claim to the Iron Throne than D has, as she is only R's sister while J is his son and heir. Not that it will really matter. J doesn't want the iron throne. D can have it :)
