I believe this broke the record for 'most expensive television episode' and it 5000% paid off. The best episode of the whole show, in my opinion.
This and the last episode, are probably the finest hours of television ever made.

I love how Daenerys points to the ground beside her for Drogon to land there, and also that the slave master who is doing all the talking is the guy from season 3 so the last time he saw Drogon he was about the size of a dog.
I've seen the Drogon-arriving scene at least a couple dozen times now and it still takes my breath away. The way he majestically lands atop the pyramid and then lands perfectly next to her with a "Let's go" head nudge is "so sexy" as Hunter Boyle would say. Then seeing all three dragons fly in formation with the camera flying along with them is so perfect.
It's 1:13am where I live. Thank the bloody Old Gods & the new for insomnia!!

Looking back the entire season 6 was fantastic. The last 2 episodes just happen to be fantastically awesome. This is the best show in television history. lol. Also George, please don't have a stroke watching Dany and Drogon crispy fry everything...lol. we still haven't seen ep. 10 yet

because it's the night in some parts of the world and it's daylight in others.
So 18:00 is dawn someplace and 03:00 is lunch someplace it doesnt really matter what the label is the locals will know which part of the day it is relevant to them. Much simpler system in my view.

You could do without actually, they are just number people are used too. However the current system is more easy to talk and plan. For example you could say: "Make sure these packages make it to all our construction companies monday morning 9 local time, so that work can begin." 1 line where it is clear when and where everything need to be. Not so easy when everybody starts at different times of the day. Can be overcome, but what is the point if it only makes it more hard.
Also it is hystorically grown and people never want to change anything they are used too.
and which part of the World would be the reference ? everybody would fight over it. The current system has been calculated according to the daylight and the sun position, it's just easier for human activities. You want poeple to wake up at 15 and go to bed at 8 ? It would be very difficult for poeple to have points of reference and it doesn't make any sense.
We currently have 38 different time zones in general use around the globe discounting local daylight savings adjustments which add another layer of complication.
Which is the more complex system 1 time zone or 38?
