George is Viserys, not Rhaegar.
Ser Barristan said, "Rhaegar never liked killing." Viserys on the other hand loved screeching "I AM THE DRAGON!" Viserys would have loved watching people burn alive. Rhaegar would have hated it.
Also, Rhaegar is tall and muscular. George is physically closer to Viserys, and probably a lot shorter.

Bran provided some damaging testimony, but Littlefinger was doomed by some things that didn't require Bran either. Baelish betraying Ned Stark in S01E07 in public(!), Baelish killing Lysa Arryn in front of Sansa, Baelish claiming the knife was Tyrion's instead of his (which set the Starks and Lannisters against each other), Baelish turning Sansa and Arya against each other.

I'm not conflicted at all, everyone knows the whole story is about those two, learned that years ago, chemistry on screen is great. If you really know the history of the characters and the show, incest is pretty common in the history. Every Targaryen married a family member except Rhaegar and that was only because he didn't have a sister to marry at the time. Tywin married his cousin. Rickard Stark married his cousin. So many others lol. Real life it's creepy but I know how to differentiate between the real world and TV.
Marley Mal don't forget Sansa married her uncle. It's just an aspect of GOT that isn't all that uncommon.

It's likely that D and D wanted him to be named after a more well known Targaryen as show only watchers who don't know much about the books might not know names like Jaehaerys. But i would prefer Aemon, partly for maester Aemon of the nights watch but also for Aemon the Dragon Knight who Jon used to pretend to be when training at Winterfell

The way he died made it sad, he deserved a better death.
Baelish's last words: "Sansa". She was literally the end of him, like I always said. She was his weakness. (with Bran's help of course and Arya) but Sansa was the one who did something about it.
But it's important to know they were NOT pretending the entire time. People got confused by that scene. No one played Baelish until now. Sansa figured it out THIS episode when Baelish tried to tell her that Arya wants her position as Lady of Winterfell. Arya never wanted to be a Lady so she knew something was wrong. She went to Bran who told her and Arya everything and then they staged this scene. But everything before that was real and not an act (which wouldn't make sense anyway). The fighting was real. Sansa didn't realize it and Arya got played because she was so focused on Sansa. They didn't work together until the last scene. Which is why this scene here is so important - because Baelish almost won again. He almost got what he wanted but he took it too far. Because the pack survives.
But they were not playing Baelish the entire season, which would be complete bullshit. But "He who wants everything every time will lose everything any time."
Ninaofthe90s I say they weren't playing at all, but Arya "threatening" Sansa with the knife was Arya's way of telling Sansa to 'do something, or I will!'
Baelish was always two steps ahead of everybody. But his one real weakness, his great downfall, was trying to craft a romance with Sansa and believing he was bringing her more and more under his wing. Of course, it all came tumbling down once it was revealed what he had really done. Betraying Ned Stark in the throne room in public? Of course that would eventually reach the Starks. The lie about the knife? Just another subtle way in which he was trying to drive the houses against each other. You can only lie for so long until you are ensnared by them.
I think we all started tearing up with you when we saw Rhaegar and Lyanna flashback. Such an emotional scene.

I don't understand why it's so hard to picture Jon and Dany together. The aunt and nephew thing is kinda creepy but it's par for the course in GOT. The only thing that surprises me is the fact that marriage was not proposed almost from the beginning. Dany did come to Westoros with the realization that she might have to marry into a house for political reasons. It would have been more realistic for them to get married at the beginning of the season and then eventually learn to live each other, as occurs in most arranged marriages.

I'm starting to wonder if Dany will die after she has a child? Because Martin said the ending will be bitter sweet? And Jon has a legitimate claim and can rule? It sounds out there, I know.
It's likely as there has been a lot of talk about it last episode like Dany and Tyrion's succession talk and Jorah saying that Longclaw will serve Jon well, and his children after him
It's the most predictable ending, so at this point I'm convinced it's gonna happen

Faisal Nasser the unsullied would stick around and serve Daenerys' child if she and Jon have one. If Jon "proves himself strong", the Dothraki would follow him as they chose to follow Daenerys

The highlights of this finale were the 1 on 1 encounters for me. There were some extremely powerful and moving performances by these brilliant actors. Tyrion vs Cersei, Cersei vs Jaime, and Theon vs Jon were all incredible to me. Not to mention the smaller interactions of these huge characters reuniting such as The Hound and The Mountain, Tyrion and Bronn, Hound and Brienne, and Brienne and Jaime. I love how all of these characters have such unique relationships with one another and how they're all interrelated in some way in their own pasts.
Dead Viserion's fire looked like a mixture of an ice beam and Godzilla's atomic fire.
I mean, actually it's Incest but on the other hand its true Love. I really would like to know how he is gonna react because he has to choose between Daenerys and the Iron Throne, but I don't think that Jon is gonna like "Get out the way Dany, I want the Iron Throne". Especially because Dany lost one of her Dragons, just to save his life. Maybe they both will get the Iron Throne (you never know) and Sansa stays in the North. But I have the feeling that Jon can't live with that, that his wife is actually his aunt. I don't think that he is going back to the North and just live like nothing happened.
I also really would like to see Tyrion and Sansa again, he was always so kind to her and now she doesn't have to be afraid. She has just been through so much since season 3. But these are all just theories and I hate it to wait 1 Year, to see 6 Episodes.
Merve Ayyildiz I'm pretty sure Daenerys is going to get killed by Jon, because that's the only way the prophecy will come true. It is said that Azor Ahai's sword can only be lit by the heart of his wife. I can't see any other way this going now, if in the end Jon has to end up on the Iron Throne, because in this case he will be forced to take it. If she doesn't die, and they find out the truth about Jon's heritage, I doubt Jon would want to sit on the throne, just because of the fact he wouldn't want it just like Need didn't, and if that happens I don't know the point of showing us that he is the true heir to the throne tbh.
Ibrahim Hussain Rasheed At this point.The theory doesn't really holds true anymore at least for the show.Because from what we've seen from the last episodes it actually indicates that Daenerys is going to get pregnant.And also even if she still alives I don't see the point why Jon can't ruling together on the iron throne.We're not necessarily need to have Daenerys got killed.

Throughout the entire seven seasons, the story has had two distinct orbital planes.
With all the various characters and their respective, "suborbital,'" story lines, lives and deaths, only serving to support the main two;
One surrounding Jon Snow, ("Aegon Targaryen,")
And the other in the East surrounding Daenerys Targaryen.
The book series is even known as, "A Song of Ice and Fire."
Of course, just like the motion and trajectory of an astronomical body must be tracked over a series of successive observations, only by looking back through all the critical events that have thus far taken place can we, as observers, finally infer enough to appreciate the profundity of that fact.
George RR Martin, (and the showrunners, David and Dan,) has said from the beginning that he developed the story only after first establishing it's ultimate destination, and then creating a suitable starting point.
The starting point is clearly the moment the Stark household was disrupted by King Robert Baratheon and the machinations of his small council;
(The murder of the hand of the King, and framing of the Lannisters, by Lysa and Petyr Baelish.
The marriage of Daenerys Targaryen to a Dothraki horselord in the East, by Varys and Ilyrio Mopatys.)
Just like, by going back through the events leading up, all the clues to the Red Wedding are there for all to see;
The same can be said about the events in this season finale.
Of COURSE Sansa and Arya would learn the truth about Littlefinger.
Of COURSE Bran and Sam would learn together the truth about Jon.
Of COURSE Jaime would finally leave Cersei behind.
Of COURSE Jon and Daenerys would end up together.
And, or COURSE the Night King and the Army of the Dead would get past the wall.
We've watched as all the various and distinct story threads have woven in and out of each other from that one starting point, when Jon left for the Wall, throughout all the past seven seasons and although we still can't quite see the End Game clearly, what is clear now is that we will eventually, FINALLY arrive there by following those threads through those five most basic and fundamental, "of COURSE's."
(And, luckily for us, we get to do it with George's awesome reaction videos!!) 👍
I hope that Jamie is "running into the arms of Tyrion". The brothers are stronger BECAUSE they love each other, need each other, and respect each other.
So Thoros, Viserion and the destruction of the wall happened only to add 1 soldier to their army... Jaime's bout to do something epic... I just know it :D

I've got mixed feelings about Jon and Dany too. Mostly, because she's he's aunt. Even though this kind of relationship was quite normal in the past, it still gives me the creeps. But well, they don't know... I wonder if their relationship is going to change once they know Jon's true heritage..? Those concerns apart, this kind of relationship was pretty normal in other times.
But I'm also conflicted about Dany. For now, she seems to be on a better track again. We'll see.
I loved the scene between the Stark siblings and the fact that Jaime left Cercei. I also love Theon's attempts to redemption.
What I don't understand: How can the marriage between Rhaegar and Elia Martell be annulled? As far as annulation goes, I'm pretty sure a marriage can only be annulled if it hasn't been consummated. But they did consummate their marriage and they had two children. So why is it possible?
And George, I loved the journey with you and hope to see you again in a year or two. Thank you so much.

I was never ever shipping Dany x Jon. Actually I was hoping this whole season that they're not gonna fall for each other. I always preferred Dany x Jorah or even Dany x Tyrion.
But I must admit I am very very happy about that whole beautiful scene now.

My prediction for Dany and Jon in season 8. Dany got pregnant on the trip to Winterfell, Jon finds out his true identity when they get there, he will not be able to stay in a relationship with his Aunt Dany because of his honor, (Ned was so against Jamie and Cersi), which will break both of their hearts. Jon will kill the Night King thereby killing most of the white walkers and the white dragon, saving Westeros, but Jon will also die in the battle. Dany will have Jon's son who will go on to be the greatest King Westeros has ever had. Unfortunately Dany is destined to be alone until she dies.

Many critics thought the series suffered from "rushed" storytelling this season.. I think I have to agree, and I was one of the guys who thought a shorter season would be really good for GoT! So be careful what you wish for, I guess.
George, would you consider reacting to the reboot series of "Battlestar Galactica" (2004-2008) if you've never seen it? Hunter Boyle just started reacting to it and really seems to like it after only a few episodes. If you do decide to react to it, just be aware that you need to watch the mini-series before watching "season 1, episode 1". Hunter made that mistake and was completely lost and had to go back and watch the mini-series, then pick up with episode 2 after that. It isn't merely a sci-fi series (just like GoT isn't JUST a medieval-type fantasy series). Great character development and you'll get pulled in pretty quickly.
Roberts rebellion and the death of Rickard and Brandon could've been avoided if Rhaegar and Lyanna just told everyone they were married smh.

I love how Lyanna didn't want to marry Robert because he wouldnt be loyal to their marriage so then she runs off with a man who is already married and has 2 kids and is almost a decade older then her, which plunges the realm into war and chaos. And to top it all off you give the child by him the same name as the child he had by his 1st wife who was brutally murdered in the war that you started.

Jon actually isn't the heir to the throne. Aerys named Viserys his heir after Rhaegar's death which disinherited any child of Rhaegar's. Viserys was crowned king at Dragonstone by their mother, Queen Rhaella. Viserys named Daenerys his heir when he declared her the Princess of Dragonstone so she is still the rightful Targaryen heir and. Bran needs to do more research 😂

Sorry, but you're reaching. Aerys never named any heir. Rhaegar's death does not disinherit his child of being the heir. When king Robert died, his son was heir (even though we know, Joffery was not his true son.) not his brother Stannis. Only when Ned wrote to Stannis about Joffery not being Robert's son did he go for the throne. You probably were joking about Jon not being the heir, but Jon (Rhaegar's true son) IS the heir to the Iron throne!

I'm more sure now than ever. It's also the BIGGEST hint that she wasn't at this meeting, while everyone else was there. Because she is not a part of this world of dragons and fantasy. She represents the new world. She IS the new world. And the last woman standing.
"Lady Stark. You may survive us yet". It's another hint. You should watch out fot them, it's not even subtle anymore. Also tyrion talking about the line of succession in the last episode. A successor outside the family. That is another hint. Someone with no actual claim is going to rule - because the people will choose her.
Why would people choose Sansa? The North maybe, but not everyone else. Only seven episodes left in the entire series, she has no time to get approval from the other Kingdoms. No one is picking her. She will be Wardeness of the North at the end of the series. If she survives, which I think she will. I think Bran will be the only Stark to die in Season 8. Jon and Dany will be King and Queen.

No. Sansa will develop waaaay more. Jon and Dany are NOT going to rule. Jon isn't a ruler, he is a soldier. Still haven't realized that yet? He has no business being king at the end. He might be a war time king, that's why he is only needed now. After the fight with the white walkers he has no purpose in the story, because his entire character is build on it. And Daenerys will probably die. If you really think they are going to rule you haven't been paying attention. There will probably be no fantasy left at the end. No dragons, no white walker, no wall, no giants (already gone, except the wights), no children of the forest (already gone), no Daenerys. It will be a completely realistic world, and Sansa represents that by losing everything magical about her character. (her religion, her direwolf, her dreams). She's the realest person in the show. It's about the transition into our world. This story is based on the real war of the roses, the tudory dynasty and the absolute monarchy. Sansa represents Queen Elizabeth I. And Cersei represents Queen Mary (bloody Mary) who ruled before Elizabeth.
GRRM already has stated Dany, Jon, Arya, Tyrion, and one other who I forgot all live till the end. It was in his notes that he gave to the creators of the show. Robyn Arryn controls the Vale. She would have to marry him in order to take control of the Vale. They will not disobey their Lord.
Sansa has no support outside of the North and her cousin in the Vale. Seven episodes, she has no time to do anything in the south. Next season is going to be entirely defined by the war. Which, by the way, is far more important than "ruling." What are you going to rule over? A dead Kingdom?
It baffles me how so many fans are still so concerned with who is going to be King/Queen when there is a fucking Army of the Dead marching south. Who the fuck cares?! You're all going to die anyways if you don't focus on the primary threat.
Sansa doesn't want to be Queen. She wants to be safe, home, and keep her status as Lady of Winterfell. You say Jon has no interest in ruling, you're right, nor does Sansa. Sansa doesn't want to be Queen in the North, she ceded control to Jon of her own freewill, she told him that the North was his, she smiled and supported his claim as King in the North, Sansa is loyal to Jon. She has no interest in anything south of the neck unless it affects them.
you have to wait. It's completely obvious to me. George RR martin must have planned this all along. Sansa is queen Elizabeth I.
no right now it doesn't matter who sits on the iron throne. But didn't you listen to baelish and the maeasters? There will be an AFTER. This is NOT the end. Life goes on. And somebody will be left to rebuild everything. This isn't just about the white walkers. When they are gone, life goes on as well. The monarchy lives on. And Sansa will be the one left. She is the ultimate survivor of the story.
And no...they are not going to survive the ending, especially not Daenerys. Tyrion and Arya...yes. Jon probably too but not as a ruler.
