Reiss Gardner the way she is now? I really doubt that she'd value Jaime's life over her kingdoms. If he does end up as Dany's prisoner, he could either be executed for what he did to her father or possibly join her ranks if he shakes off Cersei's love spell... the former seems more likely.

I've loved Dany since 2011, season 1. I mean, she's not perfect, and maybe she won't get much further than this but at least we got to see some amazing things because of her. I love fire, I love flying, I love wild hordes - this episode was heaven. That's our queen

Oh George, the hypocrites will tear apart after this. Have you heard the new "GOT fever" of the moment? They're saying that you have to feel sad about the soldiers burning, that Dany is the new villain of the show, that poor jamie (who actually just killed several men and an old lady for his crazy sister cersei) almost died because of her, bad bad daenerys.
Cersei blows up sept filled with innocent people - "What a smart move! She got rid of all her enemies in one day."
Dany uses 1 dragon on an battle field and kills soldiers - "What a fucking bitch! She's crazy! Using her dragons is cheating!"
Yep. Though this isn't a new GoT fever. Dany's been accused of being "the Mad Queen" for years now. Nothing anyone else does is wrong when it's compared to what Dany does in return. The slavers? You see, that's their way of life! Their livelihood! Bad bad Dany for wanting to punish them for putting people in chains! How horrible of her! The Sons of the Harpy were just patriots trying to fight for their city and kick out a usurper! Those Khals were just punishing a Khaleesi who didn't follow the rules! Look how scared they were when she set them on fire!
Bleh. This is just more of the same. They ignore the fact that those poor, defenseless Lannister soldiers just sacked a castle and slaughtered everyone inside, including unarmed civilians. Dany burned them, and therefore it's totally unfair and unjust. Dany is the Mad Queen! Blah, blah, blah.

That combo of music during the battle was the best ever. The change of tunes between speeded up Rains of Castemere and when Dothraki were shooting their bows on horseback, then Bronn and Scorpion vs Dany and Drogon.. The whole thing is amazing, I can write an essay on how this score made me feel when me and my sister were watching it. Ramin is trully one of the best score composers ever! I can't wait till the soundtrack comes out on 29/09/17.
Am I the only one who rooted for Bronn, Jaime AND Daenerys?
People are all like 'fuck daenerys mad queen bitch!' choosing to forget that Tyrion burned hundreds of soldiers alive at Blackwater bay. It's not like the Lannisters soldiers were innocent after turning Highgarden into a slaughterhouse.
Nick Ghurs The lannister soldiers didn't have a choice and technically most were just civilians before being forced to join and even if that didn't matter, dany has still sentenced hundreds if not thousands of civilians to death anyway because she burnt all of the food. So dany is starting to really annoy me.
I was definitely rooting for Dany, but at the same time I didn't want Jaime and Bronn to die.
Nick Ghurs I rooted for all of them. As I didn't want Jamie and Bronn to die but wanted Dany to wreck shit. It was her time and they got what was coming to them. That's why game of thrones is so great. It's always been great because of that reason. You don't know who to root for at times. But you do at that same time. It's crazy. People crying over dragons burning people are watching the wrong show.
agreed, cersei will let the people starve anyway. people act as though dany's not doing the world a favor by trying to rid westeros of this dictator. dany has her faults, they all do. except maybe sam. and hodor.
Why everyone is condemning one side over the other is beyond me. All is fair in war. Why does it matter if you get butchered by sword, get skewered with arrows or get burned to death? You have to win to survive and ensure your losses are minimal, no? The dragons provide that edge for Dany's side. Whether your method is 'noble' or not, someone's always there to pay the consequences severely so I don't know what the fuck some people are bitching about.
Steven Williams Does Cersei annoy you, too, then? She destroyed the faith militant with wildfire, but in the process, she caused civilian casualties - we hear her time and time again that she doesn't give a shit about them. There was a deliberately placed scene in that episode where we see a civilian get crushed under a large bell after the explosion. I prefer a person has noble goals rather than a noble method, but that's just me.
About the food, lannisters went there for the gold and they got it, the food was just one of the things they sacked from highgarden. There has not been a single reference in the show that those who live under the lannister rule are in desperate need of food.
I love how divided the fans are after this episode
Bronn and Jaime: have miraculously avoided by flames, when they're right in the middle of the battlefield right next to soldiers reduced to ashes, jaime suddenly knows how to fight perfectly with his left hand, bronn is again miraculously spared by flames because he can jump 20meters away from the ballista now, are currently drowning but will obvis not die next episode
People: "I'm so tired of Dany's Plot Armor!!!"
Marie Chambe This entire episode I wasn't worried about Dany, because I KNOW they're not going to kill her off. However I was worried for Jaime and Bronn, because either one of them could've died here, so yea Dany's Plot Armor > Jaime & Bronn's Plot Armor. Also, are we really going to complain about believability in Jaime and Bronn escaping, when there are dragons and wizard zombies in this show? It is a fantasy show. XD
Marie Chambe Jamie definitely didn't look that good with his left. If he wasn't on a horse he would have gotten wrecked. Bronn definitely had a little plot armor though.
AJ Simmons How westeros and thisstory works is that Daenerys has dragons, like targaryans before her. It’s not plot armour, it’s just her and her family before here having an extreme godlike advantage, because the targaryans are above everyone else (when they have their dragons)

Dramatic Irony is such a terrible thing, to be honest. We know that Dany isn't always the "burning shit all the time" queen but Jamie doesn't know that, Bronn doesn't know that, and Dany doesn't know that Jamie isn't heartless like his sister or that Bronn is just fighting for a side and he's pretty chill. So that's why I was so tense during the battle scene because I had to come to the realization that I love Dany and Jamie and Bronn but both sides don't know how alike they are, especially Jamie and Dany. I think they both just want peace.

Let's face it. We are all here because we ALL know how George feels about Dany & her dragons. I''m not a big Dany fan, but I've always appreciated her story line. My heart was pumping overtime when she rode in. I love Bronn, & like Jaime, but hate Cercei. I love Tyrion, like Dany & dragons, and hate no one else on her team (hated the Sands, but...). I went back & forth during the battle, as we all should, because I think that is what GrrM/D&D intended, and will always intend. The lesson, people, is that War is pointless.

I don't know about that. With the way Cersei is, is the realm even going to be worth saving from the white walkers if everyone who dares to object to Cersei's lunacy, plus any innocent people unlucky enough to be in the vicinity is already dead?
Besides, Cersei's the easier enemy to fight. Quickly wipe her out, and then everyone is free to focus on the Night King without having to worry about that lunatic Cersei ruining everything while their backs are turned. You know there's no way she'd help anyone but herself, so what does Jon think would happen if everyone with a conscience turns their backs on Cersei and fights the Night King? Does he think she's just going to sit there and wait for everyone to return?
You have a point, Cersei would probably use the Night King's invasion to her advantage. Jaime or Arya needs to take her out so Dany doesn't need to lay siege on King's Landing.

Tbh, I didn't want Jaime or Bronn to die. I felt sorry for Jaime. He had to watch his men turn to ash and burn alive. He was most likely having Mad King flashbacks which was why he tried to kill Dany the same way he killed her father. But at the same time I didn't want Dany or Drogon to get hurt. I was so conflicted...
