This is all so meta. I have seen that reaction, which looms large in the pantheon of GoT reactions, countless times. You all are such stuff as reacting legends are made on! (Your reaction, in particular, was great as it was so expressive. Have you ever thought about doing your own series of personal reactions? Or will you be rejoining perhaps the "cast" at BB again this year for S7?) In any case, it's really great to put a name with a face.
And with that, George, you are no longer a summer child.

Oh, finally!!! Loved your reaction. I lost it when I realized after so many years that Talisa was still touching her belly right before dying. I never noticed her hand was moving. The Red Wedding was really one of the most disturbing things I've ever watched. I cried a lot too. Just wanna give you a big hug now hahaha.

It WAS everywhere if you were a fan, but why would someone who wasn't see it or even understand/care about what it means? You'd have to have some context and it's not like it's a mindblowing theory or anything. Also I didn't know anyone in real life who was talking about it, so I never saw it on Facebook. It's pretty feasible that George and others could be in the same boat. I'd have to seek out GoT discussion to encounter it.
It's really fuckin sad how desensitized I am to the red wedding, since I've seen it about a million times. Don't get me wrong, it's brutal, but I find myself laughing (pity laughing mostly) at reactions now. I might be a monster idk

I started crying when Georgie cried. I knew this was coming & I feel sad for him. I'm so sorry Georgie. I was worried about how it'd affect you. ❤❤❤
A couple things in this episode that I noticed for the first time:
-The Hound says to Arya, "No point trying to hide behind that face." Interesting....
-The Hound saved Arya at the Red Wedding and lifted her up on his shoulder - just like he lifted Sansa up on his shoulder after saving her from the rapists at King Landing. They both owe him their lives.
-Arya was SO CLOSE to reuniting with family and Bran and Rickon were SO CLOSE to reuniting with Jon, both in this episode. Will we ever see a Stark reunion??
One always discovers new things after rewatching. Its even worse with the books, Ive read them more than 6 times I already have 2 huge composition notebooks filled with theories, and keep finding other hidden stuff

I saw this and i felt like my nose started bleeding, i clicked on this video so fucking fast
Someone in a video I saw said that was the first time he had ever seen a character die before they were actually killed (talking about Catelyn). I thought that was a very good description for what Michelle Fairley did in that scene. After that scream, she was already dead. That throat slit just took care of the physical side of things. It just guts me that she didn't get any awards for her work in Season 3. I'm not even sure she got a nomination for anything.
I think i will take a break from my preaching about Stannis and let you grieve. RIP Starks.

A sweet summer child was just whacked with a blast of winter. "if you though this had a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.' As someone who read the books decades ago I knew what was coming, but my reaction at the time was exactly when I first read LOTR, and reached the part where Gandalf yelled 'Fly, You fools!' before going down the hole. I threw the book in the corner and just couldn't bear to get back to it for weeks.
It broke my heart watching your reaction to this. It's a rite of passage all of us here

Summer child no more. Don't know if anyone has posted this yet, but
this episode of GoT is why "reaction videos" even became a thing. When
it first aired, those who had read the books had cameras on to film the
reaction of their friends who hadn't read the books and had no clue what
was coming.
You are officially a man of winter now.
You’re no longer a boy of summer.
You’ve now become a man of winter.
I think the impact of the Red Wedding doesn't completely come from connection with the characters.
Through out the story their faults and flaws are out there for us to judge them on.
But the clincher is that generally they are good people trying to do the right thing. Which is originally, to get Ned back. And then to secede from the rest of the 7 Kingdoms and become independent from the throne again. But also (And probably more so) seek retribution for what happened to Ned. Much beloved husband, father, friend and lord of the North.
So the Red Wedding meant more to us than the sum of it's players. It was the death of the kind of justice we were originally offered and holding on to. It was the (almost) annihilation of a house we were brought into the story with. Also, the now apparent sapping of strength we needed in the North. With what we know has risen on the other side of the wall.
We also know the strength of the Night's Watch is breaking.
The Red Wedding was in a way, the death of hope.

Hunter Boyle So do I. His face is the kind of face you want to punch, if you look closely you might notice him from deadpool if you have watched it. He starts as Francis/Ajax Deadpool's enemy who ended up turning him into the disfigured, weird comical guy he is today.
OMG! I didnt even notice him! Probably because I hate his face. But they do change him next season to a better actor. (Yes, Im spoiling it since he hates him too.)

Watching your reaction I have to laugh that Richard Madden (Robb) after he filmed his death scene where Roose Bolton shoves the knife into him, pretty much walked off the set took of his costume for the last time and drove to the Belfast airport to fly back home. According to him he, "Was crying all through the flight." The funniest part of it all was he had some red dye stain on his body from the blood pack he had in his costume and the dye stained the front of his body. He said along with bawling on the plane, he had the red dye on his body. He said that it must of looked like he killed someone. Too funny indeed. But suffice to say he had the same response as you did. By the way you're adorable and I love your videos.
Don't worry so much. Once you find out this was all just one of Bran's dreams everything is OK

Grey Wind got a better death in the books. He took out a bunch of Freys before he died... Also Robb's wife doesn't die at the Red Wedding... this was so much sadder...
Keep watching, though... it gets better...

Robb's wife in the books was a Westerling whose relatives reported to Tywin. So there's a tragic element there that isn't in the show. Also, Catelyn holds hostage the house fool Jinglebell instead of Walder's wife, making the scene seem all the more hopeless. And Catelyn also goes a bit mad right at the end, and the scene is told from her point of view.
The way GRR Martin discribed it in the books was a little more heartbreaking, from what I remember feeling as I read it. Cause it's a mothers feelings as she sees her son get murdered. And even thou you don't see Robb as much in the books, the hit is harder cause of the way it is written. But still this episode was a hard one to watch.
Not all of the Westerlings were colluding with Tywin - just Robb's mother in law. Rolph Spicer died at the wedding (Jeyne's Uncle) after he released Grey Wind, resulting in Frey deaths. It is also heartbreaking to lose all the minor characters (like Dacey Mormont) one by one, as the situation gets gradually more hopeless
Regardless of whether they were actively colluding with Tywin, House Westerling of the Crag is a noble house from the Crag in the northwestern westerlands. They are sworn to House Lannister and are considered among their principal bannermen.

You are now a child of the winter! I can't help but tear a bit every time Iwatch this scene. It's heartbreaking, especially from Catelyn's perspective. She gave up. For all she knows, most of her children are dead. It's a shattering scene that marks a before and after in this show for me.
This is why people love the Starks George...they dont get much love in the show..
The Stark's are almost the only people in the entire show that have a shred of honor.

I, too, was not so much connected to those characters but I realised after this episode it was that it was the Starks that I was deeply connected to.

Catelyn knew there are something wrong since she hear the song "Rain of castamere", this song is like the national anthem for house lannister, in episode 8 Cerci told margery about history of this song, how house rain slaughtered by Tywin Lannister, the song itself make Tywin Lannister is the most bad ass person in Westeros.

This was the episode that Dan and Dave (the creators and producers) really wanted to get to in the story. It was this scene that they originally wanted to create the show. Believe me I had the same reaction as you did only my favourite characters were Robb and Talisa. I just loved them. So with them gone, I had to double up on my Jaime love.
I've red the books so I knew what was coming. I was laughing and smiling to your hopes at the beggining of the video, but I have to say that I really felt bad for you at the end. Damn, my heart was broken in two pieces by reading the Red Wedding, but now I've seen you crying I can't even count them anymore
