    Dude your the only dude on youtube that rev a new exhaust to the rev limiter. Thanks a lot. I always wanted to know how the bike would sound at the limiter

    Just installed the Yoshi on my 2013 Ninja 650. Such a beast sounding system. I took the silencer our and its LOUD

      Dankovich did you get the RS4? Does it come with the silencer insert or did you have to buy it separate?

    Sounds a bit better than my Leovince SBK. By the way, the air filter upgrade (get a K&N) is totally worth it.

    Great video. Trying to pick between this and the akrapovic system. Any advice on which one to buy?
    Akrapovic runs about $786 and this $567
    Anything is better than the tractor sounding exhaust.

    About how loud would you say this kit is with and without the silencer?

  • @babubhaipotli

    Hey man, I've got the same exhaust. I also have a power commander (Dynojet). I've set a stock map on it though. Lately, I'm experiencing a lot of rough idling. What do you think may be the cause of that? It rough Idles and then shuts off.
    I know it could be a lot of things. but what's your opinion?

      @mikecoscia  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      No idea, I'm more of a computer guy than a mechanic. I would definitely have it checked out though.

  • @dinosaur6054

    So I'm fairly new at riding I just got my Kawasaki ninja 650 and I want to get this exhaust my question is that is it a full exhaust system from headers and on or is it a slip on? Also do you still have the cat on yours?

    • @mikecoscia
      @mikecoscia  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's the full exhaust system, no catalytic converter needed.

    Any noticeable improvements in torque and/or top end? Thanks for any response.

    • @mikecoscia
      @mikecoscia  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven't really noticed anything. Maybe a little smoother? Most likely needs to be paired with a fuel management system to get the most out of it (i.e. Bazzaz)

    How much weight are you saving with the yoshi? I'm looking at this or a two brothers.

    • @mikecoscia
      @mikecoscia  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure didn't measure, but the stock exhaust is significantly heavier.

    did you block the egr? i just bought the same exhaust for my 13 and was reading some people do to reduce the popping on decel.

    • @mikecoscia
      @mikecoscia  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmm, not sure. I had my local dealer install it. Where would I look on the exhaust to check? I love the exhaust, but the popping does annoy me.

    • @kawasakiknight3795
      @kawasakiknight3795 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      there are several ways to block it off the easiest is to block the vacuum lines on top of the air box.

    Do need to make any changes to the fuel settings???if not does it harm the engine??

    • @mikecoscia
      @mikecoscia  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nope, works great without any adjustments. It does backfire on a quick deacceleration occasionally, but it won't harm the engine.

    Why is the zx6r more expensive when there both 600?

    • @adambendure5118
      @adambendure5118 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The zx6r is a track ready package and it also has a 4 inline motor (4 cylinder). the 650r is a v-twin motor with only 2 cylinders so its more for torque not speed

    • @MJT-DA
      @MJT-DA 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Adam Bendure wrong the kawasaki ninja 650 is a parallel twin also known as a inline 2 look it up. and he asked which one is cheaper not the specs. Therefore the ninja 650 is cheaper than the zx6r both in cost and insurance.

    • @J_CART3R
      @J_CART3R 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ninja 650 is a Twin Cylinder bike and its a Sport Touring bike unlike Ninja 636 (ZX6R) which is Inline 4 Cylinder Sport Bike.
