Your videos have been fantastic, especially your tuning videos. Through your guidance, enthusiasm, confidence, and direction, I've recently tuned four of my air rifles. Through you, I went forward and enjoyed every moment of doing what I did, and had every confidence of knowing what I was doing was correct. I've improved my air rifles so much. I've removed their buzz/twang, which I never liked. They just perform so much better now, and sure, their smoothness aids their accuracy too.. I've enjoyed this journey and learned so much. At one time, to do things like this, you had to physically be with someone and make all kinds of mutual arrangements. Hi Kevin! Yes you have to fill your freeze my friend, especially in these uncertain times. I shot a second moose mid oktober and there is for me no need for more hunting. I did hunt polar hare but winter started early this year and there is already to much snow for the Beagles. I don't take the risk that one of them can be killed by a moose. Wish you a succseful hunt Kevin, for me there is just now some foxing left. 👍Cheers!

I hope the deer hunting was successful Kevin. I finally watched your tune of the new Feinwerkbau Sport and was struck that the internals of the new Sport are similar to the old ones, in particular the spring retaining bolt, the piston shoe and the piston itself.
"If it ain't broke, don't fix it" ! 😉 The piston and cocking linkage is responsible for the legendary smooth cocking action. The pivot trigonometry, allows for the lowest cocking effort, and the barrel length seals the deal, and the FWB Barrel is second to none on accuracy. They did however improve the trigger, as for the block mounted guide they simply expect someone to make a proper spring to fit it. 🤷🏼♂️ Unfortunately they increased the weight a full 2 pounds ! 🤦🏼♂️

Never the less it's a target rich environment. I don't think I can hunt deer within the inner borough though... 🤔 😁😆😅😂🤣🤣

@@davidoldboy5425 Apparently dissection of deer retinas! Retinas have 'rods' and 'cones'. Rods work in very low light, but don't see colour. Deer have far more rods than humans (and a much wider field of view), which gives them far better eyesight than humans in low light, in order to detect predators. Humans have 3 types of cone for detecting red, green and blue wavelengths of light, which gives us very good colour vision across the visible spectrum. Deer only have the two types for the green and blue end of the spectrum, so they perceive orange as just another shade of green in the woods. Deer essentially have a type of red-green colour blindness, which also affects humans. (If you're old like me, you'll remember UK domestic wiring used to use red for live and green for earth. Live was changed to brown and earth to green and yellow stripes years ago to make them more distinctive to this type of colour blindness).
Hi Stephen. I enjoy a backstrap roast , studded with slivers of garlic and pan seared, and finished off in the oven to a gorgeous, medium rare. Served up with some long grain and wild rice and roasted Brussels sprouts.
