  • In this video we will show you how to safely unload your muzzleloader without firing if you did not get a deer during muzzleloader season or you do not want to fire it after every trip to the woods.

I’ve been actively looking into muzzleloader hunting. Looks really fun!

i saw a video about making black powder using toilet paper and accidentally fell in love with the concept of having a system I can operate regardless of market supply availability.

Its been a while but Thompson Center made/makes a CO2 adaptor that screws into the nipple threads and will push the projectile out of the bore. I had to use it once in hunting camp and it worked great. Given the cost of it and CO2 cartridges it is probably not worth using in a non emergency situation but it can save the day in a hunting situation.

This rifle has an open breach. This is not meant as a criticism, merely a caution to those that would try this on a muzzle loading firearm, without an open breach. Rifles like my Kentucky long rifle cannot be unloaded in this way. So to those looking to this video, just be conscious of the type of rifle you buy.

100% agreed Thanks for the comment and caution. Safety is #1 when it comes to any firearm

This comment doesn't hold up. I undo this assertion with one word. Worm.

Fair point. No augment there. My original intention for the comment stands, just be aware of the type of rifle you have before trying to duplicate this method is all I was saying. there are different loads and different rifles. This method works for this load and this rifle. Though I think what you are looking for was bull puller, not worm. @@mattmarzula

Static electricity can cause your muzzle loader to go off. Carpet do not bring your muzzle loader in your home loaded some have some died with out a face 😢

I have been unloading mine that way for 13 seasons, with all safety in Mind, a spark is quite a bit of a reach, don't you think 🤔
