Thanks for showing this, Kevin. There is not enough of these events here in the US. Seems that the New England area is a hotbed for this activity. Years ago at Standing Stone here in Pennsylvania, a airgun shoot and show was set up with a small HFT couse set up in the woods. Unfortunately that event is no longer held there. ScottinPa.
I enjoyed the video, and have watched several of your videos over time , envious of your den and admire your fireplace, working with natural stone was one of my favoured jobs , now retired, keep shooting and stay safe, best wishes from the UK 🇬🇧
Really great video Kevin , got some great ideas for the hw98 and Leo and women great additional info . Fantastic study to sit in break out the bourbon 🥃 lol . Thanks my friend
Great video my friend and very nice you show us something different today👍 I like FT shooting but here in the far north i have to travel to far to visit a FT competition. I had to make my own little FT range at home to have fun. Love the HW98. Mine is in 22 cal. and of coarse as all HW's very accurate. The 98 fits me like a glove and has a good balance for FT shooting. Already snow here in Lappland so it's not so comfortable sitting outside in the cold now but i was shooting yesterday with my HW30 and every time i,m surprised how accurate this little rifle is. Thanks for showing, i enjoyed every second. Cheers!
thanks for showing the air rifles and the club, i wish there were more of the springer class, this is the first air gun club i have seen since the 1980s.
Yet another great episode of Pellets and Pistons. I shoot hunter field target, here in the UK. It really is a great sport, and of course you get plenty of fresh air and good company. 👍
Thanks for showing us this, I recently joined a HFT club over in Wales (UK) with my HW97K. Its really improved my shooting skills and the shooters there are so helpful and friendly. I'd definitely recommend joining a club.
Yes. HFT is a great sport. I shoot at Furnace Mill near Kidderminster. They have 7 HFT national courses. Unfortunately, because they are national courses we can’t shoot on them, unless we are shooting in competition, but we do have 2 great practice courses and a 55 yard plinking range. It is a very friendly club as well. I’m pleased you enjoy the sport. 👍
Another great Video. I belong to an HFT club here in Kent (England) and shoot in the springer section myself...the camaraderie is brilliant. If you fancy another break barrel rifle, I can certainly recommend the HW98 - I have 3, all in 0.177 and all in different states of tune, but each one is incredibly accurate and rewarding to shoot. Keep up the great work
Hi Kevin, been away from your videos for a while, that sporting club looks fantastic wish we had something like it in Ireland. Beautiful countryside location. Love to know how far that hotdog was...??? Great to see what some of the guys were using and having them explain there kit. As always great video..
Thanks so much for taking us along! I’ve been curious about these types of events. Nice mix of springers there. It’s especially nice to see someone using a HW50 at a competition. I just think that’s the coolest and I’d be rooting for them! If you were to bring a gun next time, would it be the HW97?
Thanks, Marc. I was apprehensive about that video. I wasn't sure that it'd go over well, but there's been some very positive feedback. Appreciate the kudos.
@@razor1962It takes a bit of thought and planning to get the footage. Never quite certain if folks fully appreciate everything that goes into just one production ? 🤔 Match Competitions, Airgun Shows, Shop Visits, Tuning, Setup, Maintenance... It's ALL Part of AirGunning ! 😵
Really enjoyed your coverage of the event, nicely produced and presented. I hope to see some coverage of your first time shooting field target in the not too distant future. We can always use more springer shooters in the sport (nudge nudge)!
Hello Kevin, nice that you took us to this great event. I have been offered a HW 80 K that is still in good condition, but here comes the catch it is in .20 and the selection of pellets is pretty limited. I plan to go hunting with it. What do you think of these calibers? Thanks for the great vid.
The HW80 in .20 cal. is a good choice. Of course, you're correct. The pellet choices in .20 are limited, but it's a good weight range for a rifle in the power level of the HW80. Thanks for watching, my friend.
Greetings Mr. P&P. Are you still around? This is the most recent video of yours that I found. I'd like to chat you up about springers some time. Say hello. R, Steve
Hi Steve. You bet I'm still around. I'm also an avid whitetail hunter, and you caught me in my hunting season. The season ends on the last day of January, and then it's back to the channel.
Hi Nikola. There are advantages to each rifle. However, I'm more inclined to lean towards the Weihrauch guns. Diana products employ some plastic parts in their designs while Weihrauch are basically metal and wood. The Diana TO6 trigger is great. However, the Weihrauch Rekord trigger is outstanding. A gas piston has its advantages over a spring, but they can lose pressure over time where a spring will always be a spring. And when the spring does fail, it's more economical to repair. If it were my choice, I'd go with the 95.

Thanks, Scott. There's not much going on here in New England either as far as I know, but it's slowly catching on.
I enjoyed the video, and have watched several of your videos over time , envious of your den and admire your fireplace, working with natural stone was one of my favoured jobs , now retired, keep shooting and stay safe, best wishes from the UK 🇬🇧
Thanks, Anthony. That's very nice of you to say. Thanks as well for your viewership. It's sincerely appreciated, my friend.

So glad to hear that you enjoyed the video, Peter. Thanks as always, my friend.
That was really interesting. Loved Bill's HW98 at 6 minutes in, really nice bit of kit.
Those 98s are great guns. Thanks for watching, Jack.

Thanks John.
What a lovely video ! people having fun in what is a great sport! Glad you had a great time there and thanks Kevin.
Thanks, Dave. I'm glad that you enjoyed the video.
Brings back memories. I used to be a member at the club back in the early 2000s before I moved to AZ
Thanks for watching.
Thanks so much for sharing your trip! Looks like a great event!
It was a very good time. Thanks for watching, my friend.
Another excellent video. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Thank you, Norman.
So nice. We don’t have anything like that near me
so start something
Yes, airgun clubs are few and far between.

absolute comradeship and what a great way to spend time
Great bunch of guys and gals.
👍👍👍👍👍 fun subject, fun video. I hope that some people are inspired to give FT a try after seeing it.
I hope so, too, Brian. Thanks for watching.
Another great video Kevin. It was nice to see the springers that were used. Im sure you would do well if you go to the next event. Thank you.
Thanks for the vote of confidence, Paul.
Something a little different, good video, I didn't know what was involved in field target either. That Walther was a bit of kit wasn't it 💪.
Thanks, Mick. Yes, that Walther was one of a kind.
Look great Kevin! I've done a few ft competitions now, it's loads of fun! Thanks for sharing... Btw, stunning stunning country side and scenery!!
Thanks so much and thanks for watching, my friend.

Hope you try. FT is fun, as is BR.

Thanks very much. If I were to attend, I'd probably bring my Webley Longbow. It's a .177 and laser accurate. Always a pleasure, my friend.
Thank you, nice job. Nothing like that near me so it was very interesting.
So glad that you enjoyed the video.
❤❤❤
Thanks!
I thought the drone footage added allot of perspective that you really miss out on without being there personally... Well Done ! 😉👍

At the end is that your sitting room or your manly retreat?
Either way, it looks very cosy.
Thanks very much. That's my half of the sitting room. The wife's half is much more feminine. 😊
Great intro ! Sub'd !
Great to have you aboard! Thanks for subscribing.

Kevin , I traded my tx to Dave a member of that club....guy telling the rules
Small world Mike. Lol! Dave's a great guy.
I actually wanted it back but Dave declined lol
@mikepaquete1996 I hate it when I kick myself for letting a gun go only to wish that I hadn't later on.
Hi Kevin
Hw95 or Diana 340ntec
I plan to buy one of these two rifles soon, but I can't decide.
What do you think is a better purchase?

What power levels are people using for this event?
Don't quote me on it, but I believe that in the States, the limit is 20 ft/lbs
would love to sse whare you strore your rifles
Top secret.
everbdy his hobby !!!! but is noht myn hobby
