It does
You're right. Arun is sooo underrated
Don't go on his channel it leads to rickroll
He probably should make a podcast with his crew
it's good to see a tech influencer suggesting tech, not for its RGB lighting or fancy features, but for health benefits. and he does his research, not just spew nonsense. Really Love your content for this one major reason.
now ofc, i dont own any of these yet, but someday if i have enough money to build my own setup, i'll definitely be following your guides!
and on the plus side, he's a organising freak, just like me! his setup is therapeutic to imagine owning and working on!
ikr
Ok and?
Yeah, $4k-5k is basically a fortune for the average just-out-of-college Nigerian like myself, so I hardly have any intentions of actually getting any of these, but it is quite comfy to watch/listen to a similarly-minded fella talk about them, whilst backing up their decisions with good facts, however opinionated they might seem.
i dont get the hype around rgb
@@hakz07 Likewise, I guess it's just the geeky, gamey aesthetic. But It's rather cringe to me, and I'm the geekiest person I know
As someone who, like many, works at a desk, you have opened my mind to a whole new way of working which benefits our health physically and mentally. Wonderful set up, thank you for sharing. 🙏
I do desktop work for hours every week and I'm in awe with your setup. It's ergonomically amazing. I relate too much to back pains, arm pains, posture problems, digestive problems, etc. I hope that I'll get one like yours someday.
7:53 bro just pulled the chair all the way down and said "drisha can use it" 💀💀💀💀
0:53 "Banana for my enjoyment." 💀
Can't unthink that😅
Ayoo🤨🤨
That’s
Didn't rewind or forward or skip a second...
Watched from start to end and absolutely loved it!
Your presentation is top notch!
I loved the way you blend it the health factors and explaining the gadgets!
Keep it up Arun! Thanks.
The power cable that goes through the table stand is awesome. This is the only part in my setup that looks unmanaged. Also impressed by the BenQ Halo light, more so with the temperature dialer and back lighting. The light at the back of the screen to light the wall is so so important. When I drive a car during the day that has a black dashboard, it strains my eyes because of the stark transition.
Can confirm, the Magnus Pro desk is simply incredible in every way. Especially for cable management.
bro i want it but its so expensive
@@what.the.flip.its.ishaann it's surprisingly well competitively priced compared to other standing desks of this quality. Even with all the accessories included it's still a good deal.
But yeah, it's quite a lot of money if you don't have that kinda cash available.
@@what.the.flip.its.ishaann not only that, but all the neat and clever widgets that make it so interesting, are expensive extras on top of the already daunting price.
@@JeremyLawrence-imajez currently saving up for a whole lot of stuff to take my content creation to the next level but man, the desk is definitely well price compared to their chairs
A variable height desk is an overengineered and pointlessly expensive solution though @@TheCentre101
I take a completely different approach to a standing desk Mine is 2.75m long. 0.75m deep and has maybe 50-60kg of stuff on it [3 large monitors, audio and dj gear]. The key thing is that it's fixed height and I have a high chair instead. Far simpler, more versatile and massively cheaper than raising a desk up and down. Built it myself from Ikea adjustable legs/desktops and 2x20mm thick MDF. Not that you can even get such a rising desk this big.
It used to be even bigger with an extra section that made it L-shaped, but decided I didn't need 4.5m of desktop.
Love the down to earth approach to the workspace! Recently made my own desk and applied all the “features” you mentioned
Love is a strong word, are you sure?

Hands down my favorite thing to talk about, even though it's super nerdy. I love this video. I saw your setup in the Ultra review, and I was like, wow, it looks like a more advanced version of mine lol
I found the browser grouping part interesting. Inspired with that, I started to poke around, and I noticed that Edge has launched it in a preview too. Thanks for that!

@@i_love_ar_4789_my_husbandyes, that’s because of the auto play feature on TH-cam which means that thumbnails don’t stay visible to a user for nearly as long, and so its priority naturally decreases, allowing his team to spend valuable time honing other elements of his videos.

Amazing as always. I am in process of buying a new house and you gave me all amazing ideas for a perfect office room in the new place.
Never knew someone could convince me to consider a desk light. That bias lighting concept is something i can't unsee now. Great setup overall Arun!
Same here, I picked it up from his link too since I never realized it seems like such a neat positive for your eye health.
This guide has been absolutely incredible, no understatement. Parts that I questioned at first got me agreeing with them like the single cord being a big deal and the wobble chair. I feel like I've wasted so much for not having the foot exercise part, so I'll focus on getting something similar as my first improvement to my setup. Thank you again for the guide!

Crazy, ive had a 4 monitor setup before and I love my one monitor set up now. so much less but so much more at the same time.
6:39 The banana for scale was hilarious 💀
It's really good to see that this man is taking his health and physical condition seriously as well as his work, this setup is immaculate! Also, by any chance do you know where I can find a cheaper version of the laptop stand?
Ali express,dh gate, temu any other chineses websites

This is perfection in a video. Thank you, Arun for the recs!
My desk setup looks very similar. Differences are a 32” monitor, and I drilled through the desk in order to bed the wires. Then used grommets on the holes to clean them up. I think this desk would be amazing as I basically attached everything to mine with mounting screws and zip ties. I’ve never used the halo lights back light as I mounted Govee light bars on the wall.
Thank you so much for this video. I have been watching you since I was 8 and this video benefited my in so many ways. I can now study late nights without being worried about waking my family up because of the light. I can now get exercise without my mum saying go outside and exercise. Tysm
Great video. Have to say there is a lot in this setup but it looks understated. Basically has more than it appears to be at first glance.
00:40 the ability to look down will come in handy in an online class or a work meeting where you might do a quick drawing or calculation on paper and want everyone to see it as a first draft. Or if you play trading card games via remote and the judges need to see all your cards at all times. It's a great addition!
If you’re going to use a use an ergonomic keyboard, I’d recommend going all the way and using a split keyboard, it’s so much nicer to have your hands on the same axis as your shoulders, and it allows you to place something in the middle and adjust the position of only one of the halves. Plus most of them have an option to adjust the angle, unlike the one you’re currently using.
Do you have any good recommendations for one, if I may ask?
i never see a split keyboard... now i am looking it at google images
@@rogehmarbi ZSA (Ergodox ez, Moonlander), Digma (Raise, Defy), and MoErgo Glove 80 are a few split mechanical keyboard options. I personally use the Glove 80 and really like it.

Arun, your desk setup is so on point, it's making my cluttered workspace jealous! My desk just whispered, 'I wish I were as neat as Arun's.' 😂

Thanks for all these tips! It's helped the much. The Cubii-go and the ergonomic mouse are really interesting!

These are some awesome choices! We have a version of that small elliptical device, and now I know where to put it to good use! Thanks for showing that!
Same!
Ah yes the elliptical device is one that seems very practical, even taken out of the workspace environment. Dinner table? Boom! Couch resting? Boom! I gotta get one.
Thank you so much for this, bought they keyboard mouse and forearm rests for my dad after watching this. Once again keep up the videos!
I've bought "Letiz Wobble Stool" and for the first time ever I feel happy about my "sitting" position as I've quite expensive "balancing" chair, but as I'm a man, it's low for me, so knees was crying and I've end up on some cheap crappy chair. Now I can stand, sit, or semi-stand-sit with this stool. It's nice and robust. In short: I really thank you for this tip as it makes me very happy (as all-the-time sitting developer...).
This is so well thought out for your health honestly, I like how you made this setup focused on your health and not as much as "how can this setup be the closest to me being in the pc and not care about my health" keep it up man 👍
I’m with you on the Belkin wireless stand. I resisted for so long, got one for my desk and liked it so much I got another one for my nightstand. They sell certified refurbished models if you can get them, which definitely takes away some sting of their price

To me, nothing beats a custom desk board built by your local carpenter in the wood and finish of your choice, and a good set of stand-up desk feet. It is super easy to setup, much nicer looking and cheaper while reflecting your personality more than this kind of finished product.
Me too!
Agree
Can you show me an example of this? I am definitely interested.
THIS IS UNARGUABLLY ONE OF THE BEST SETUP VIDEO I HAVE WATCHED.
I have come to the realisation that you cant solve one ergonomic problem and leave the other out. and that is exactly the issues I am facing at the moment. I got a kidney egro chai and I stilluse a wooden made table. The Magnus pro table is my highlight in what you shared. Its pretty high on my side of the world. But its definitely worth saving for. Thank you so much
i love Aruns content and the way he explains.
Love the set up! The biggest game-changer for me has been getting a standing desk. Whenever I have an energy dip, I stand for at least half an hour. This instantly increases my energy levels again. It apparently also has tons of health benefits. Can recommend it to everyone!
Idk if you realize this, but this is a "Tech you need as you get older" video. Office work takes it outta you man. Going down the same journey myself.
I like the Arc browser. Clean and minimal design
I have used a swiss ball as my office and gaming chair for the past 17 years. I rate that concept of micromovement, especially as someone who struggles to sit still for a long length of time
watching the NAS fall at 4:30 made me flinch to catch it then lmao
Cute kitty :) 🐈
7:35 - oh, feels like Dr. Mike might want to respond to that in his future video
I don't know what to say, I have never been so impressed in my whole life. The setup is magical. Idk if I would ever be able to see/feel something like that in real. While watching this video, I feel so excited, like a child when he visits Disneyland for the first time. i wanna cry.
This desk is incredible and I might just get it for my setup that I’m working on
Look forward to watching your videos every week man! You and the team are doing great stuff and inspiring many people to go out and make videos just as good as yours! Keep it up
I've had a ring light since last year. I thought I would really like it but its been straining my eyes whenever I use it. Thanks for the idea of adding it behind my monitor to help my eyes instead of hurt them. It works great!
Thank's the video helped me upgrade my setup.

I have very recently got myself a standing desk, but one thing I noticed is that it is very hard to hide the wires. I like to move my laptop front and back, so got an arm, and having it means I had to add extra wire so it doesn't get rigid. Not sure what can be done there though, but still, my setup is looking good enough that I'm able to concentrate my work.

Love the show i hope maybe 1 day I'll get it for myself

Might incorporate some ideas from here. I already feel like i got the perfect desk setup for myself tho, minus the fact that my relatively cheap standing desk has wobble
I have an apple display and a iPad Pro 2023 I have 4 mini apple speakers, I use my iPad on the go all the time and the Apple Pencil for work with clients and study. My work space and desk are super compact and devoid of cables or anything, all contracts and such are done online or scanned in and then shredded. My iPad Pro fits into a messenger bag from apple that fits in my BMW C400x Maxi scooter when I go see clients, this can be 2-3 students a day and I travel around a lot so the convenience is very important part. As someone who has been using Opera as my primary browser since I first discovered that it was an option, the tab island is something that I am in love with but I didn't know about the little plus on the islands until you mentioned it. I actually paused the video just to check it out.
