    What is up guys! :)
    I had the honor to meet up with one of my biggest influences of my Yoga practice: Patrick Beach! He will show us how to ‘float’ with ease in our practice.
    Floating is an ‘advance Yoga transition’ where you go from Down Dog to the top of your mat as slow as you possibly can, suspending your legs in the air. It requires a great deal of awareness and trust in your body; however, you already know that with deliberate practice everything is possible!
    I started following Patrick on social media about 5 years ago when I could not even do a proper downward facing dog, let alone any handstand related position. After practicing Yoga for 2 years, I attended to one of his workshops in Miami and really loved his method and way of sharing the practice. 3 years later I am next to him doing this video for all of you guys. Life can give you surprises, keep your eyes and heart open at all times because the best days of your life has yet to come!

      yeah, love both sides of basically same art. only difference is yoga at the core is a breathing exercise and a meditation and the workout is a means to an end while bodyweight exercise, the end is you can do that exercise. that's what i get anyways.

    My ultimate goal is to float even if I don’t get into a full handstand , it’s just a cool way to transition in my yoga practice, although the bend legs make more sense to jump forward to float, I prefer straight leg, it’s aesthetically cool to watch.I love the dolphin push up, Patrick Beach is a really good teacher.

    I’m so happy to finally see a video where calisthenics and yoga are combined! To begin, I love and follow patrick! From a calisthenics point of you as well as yoga, I also follow Garbo. So often the calisthenics and yoga world as well as certain other sports interact with each other and borrow from each other. I think it’s time to learn, grow and understand how we can benefit from neighboring sports and disciplines. I’m also happy that my brother Gabo had this chance to meet a legend in the yoga world, Patrick Beach! This definitely was an honor not only for Gabo but also for all of us who do both yoga and calisthenics! Big up to you both!

    I've loved these drills, bro! Mostly the first one
    Just started adding it to my practices and I can feel a great improvement in my general arm balance and core engagement
    Your yoga tips are bringing my calisthenics skills to the next level
    Seriously. I wasn't progressing, just doing the same rigid movements.
    Thx man! You're an inspiring dude and it's spreading the movement culture

I would definitely love to see more collabs in areas where you feel it would be beneficial. Also on a side note, would you be able to provide tips or advice on holding a v-sit? Any form of information would be greatly appreciated!! Sending positive vibes brother!!

      Thanks brother! Sure man I will do a video about v-sit pretty soon! For now: The more flexible your hamstrings are, the higher the V-sit will seem to be. So, work on your hams flexibility and also push your hips as forward as you can when going into the move. hope that helps!

    I've been trying forever to float forward from dog to squat. You just do it ... it would be a great help if you could give some tips ... just doing a vid showing you floating forward is ... a bit frustrating.

      Nahhh there out hundreds of wonderful backflip tutorials from gymnasts out there already, the in depth handstand tips that give you the last 2% are pretty rare though, he should focus on these!
