    Another amazing video! What I like the most about you and your channel is that you always put yourself in the shoes of someone who is a true beginner and you keep giving tips with that in mind.     I am a newly certified yoga instructor (literally finished YTT today!) and have been training calisthenics for a few months. You are my inspiration as there are few of us guys who find the balance between strength/physique training and mobility/flexibility/balance/mindfulness.     This routine is awesome. I'm pretty sure that everybody that trains this 2 or 3 times a week will get the press handstand! Many thanks Gabo for remarking the importance of the flexibility to compress the body.

    Amazing, I tried to do this routine on my own yesterday but didn't feel too good. I hope it's much better with this video :)
    Also I really like the idea of active rest, I will try to incorporate that in my training.

    I'm not really a calisthenics beginner but a yoga beginner for sure and it is very hard for me :D The streches can be very hard and a bit hurtful sometimes and I can barely lift my feet at the straddle walks. But I am going to work on it!!!

      Gabo Saturno Listen you :))) hahah I've done this practice.. and.. Stop saying two things: that video is too long , and that you are giving(throwing) too much information. Video is way too short for valuable information you provide. I can't do handstand but I wanted to do this 'junto a ti' so I can listen what you will say, about postures, positions etc. So thank you soo much, again, and if you decide to do one hour video.. I'll be there. I mean here😂, watching and doing it 'with you'. You have my full support Gabo! 💙

    Gracias hermano, he aprendido bastante en mi camino hacia al press, me he dado cuenta que no entrenaba tanto como creía la flexibilidad y me creia con una flexibilidad bastante buena, pero veo q aún me falta un poco mas de empeño con esto.. Conrazon me costaba un mundo a la hora de alzar las piernas y conseguir el equilibrio.. debo ponerle mas ganas a esas rutinas de flexibilidad

    it is an amazing video i have a problem i have very flexible hamstrings but i can't balanced nor a kick handstand neither a press handstand but all the steps which shows i do all in the wall to feel more comfortable!!!

      Hello, brother!!! Is it fear what's stopping you from that? If you already have enough flexibility, that's a great way to start with your hand-balancing journey. From what I hear, you might be only missing balance. I'd encourage you to practice against the wall and work on your forearm flexion strength to not fall forward, not including if you already know how to properly fall from a handstand. But, have you checked the SM Academy? We have a step to step program for every handstand goal including strength, flexibility, mobility, and many other areas.     Using the tips you gave, especially regarding hamstring flexibility, I got my first straddle press to handstand today. I trained it for a few weeks with this routine and then I abandoned it to get a 1 minute handstand hold. Once I got that, I stretched and practiced this 6 times a week along with the L sit, and got it in 2 weeks. What I want to know is, how long should it take me to get from there to my first pike press, and how long before it becomes effortless? I want to do moves like the stalder press, L sit to handstand, and the 1 arm handstand after I master my pike press.

    Yet another great video tutorial! I wish you could cover ways on how to strengthen the upper back in order to support weight of the body when the hips stack on top of the shoulders to lift the legs. I'm struggling with that aspect because I get pain on my traps when attempting the press walks. Thanks again

      Hello, brother!!! Since this press is mostly flexibility, balance, and scapula strength, I'd encourage you to work with the basic strength and balance to start with the basics of handstands. If you are injured, don't do things that make you feel pain in those moves. But, have you checked the SM Academy?
