Highly appreciate this one. Far more welcoming than any training vid, imo. Been eyeing that Rice n Grinds product for a while now. After this vid, I'll go ahead and grab me a bag. I like the flavored idea of it. Even though I flavor it myself. Curious to know why the old fashioned oats digest better/faster than quick oats. The mere look of both tell me otherwise :D
@@christuttle6487 No worries I can't find it. You think you can make a video on how to build muscle while fighting crohn's disease/inflammation? I know you mentioned you had digestive issues.... not sure if you do still or not.
Chris, just placed my first order for some Rice and Grinds. Would one serving be good for post work out? Should I have a whey Protien shake with it as well?
Gluten is not a problem, but wheat proteins is? Well gluten is wheat protein structure lol... Today A LOT of people have leaky gut due to stress, chemicals, heavy metals, amaglams etc.. and because gluten is very complex and hard to digest protein structure that is harder to digest in comparison with meat for example it can leak to the blood stream and causing even autoimmune issues etc.. I had leaky gut due to stress and amalgams. I had crazy symptoms from hard to digest proteins like casein or gluten. But even if people don't have issues with digestion etc.. It is far from ideal to eat regular wheat flour in products like toast bread, pasta etc.. Wheat was traditionally prepared by fermentation which will predigest/break down this complex protein structure to food much easier to digest... Anyway it is a good idea to stop eating foods with gluten for at least 30 days even if you think that you have no issues with it and see what happens. Most people feel much better, water retention goes down(even if they eat same amount of carbs as before).. It is common sense to not eat a lot of harder to digest foods. Most people are eating dairy and gluten all the time x times a day. Which is horrible for digestion..
That is more of an issue with rice coming from American rice. California rice has the least I believe. I would purchase rice from Thailand. and white rice has the least arsenic.
regular brown rice has the highest arsenic content and basmati white rice from Pakistan has lowest content.. Basmati has also lowest GI. So if you eat a lot of rice, use basmati..
I can't get enough of this guy
I just received my Chris Tuttle Navy blue T-shirt. 😊 Thank you Animal for giving Chris his own shirt. Well deserved. I love it.

Thank you! I will focus more on nutrition vids than training. 50% of my carb intake if not more is from RICE N GRINDS. LOVE that stuff!
@@christuttle6487 Is the wheat and gluten video up? I can't find it
@@StonedRambo01 Huh! I think I did that awhile ago right? I do not know where it is. I remember doing one.

@@StonedRambo01 Yes, I have ulcerative colitis. I can do a video on that. That is actually a really good idea.
Old fashioned oats DEFINITELY digest better than quick oats for me. I learned that this year as well.
Just found out about this guy today im liking all these informative videos
to be fair, many strains of rice do have a fair amount of micronutrients in husks but we take those off in the process to make white rice

Do resistant starches form if you meal prep and freeze food?
