your opinion on fat/carbs amounts in same meal. Moderate fat and carbs in each meal? Avoid High carbs and fats in same meal? Or, for workout days, go high carb/low fat and off-days go high fat/low carb to cycle the macros? For purposes of staying lean when getting in the calories.
At the end of the day it is about calorie balance. Do not look too far into it. For the most part is not going to make a huge difference and only in extremes it does. However if you are doing high fat and high carb that is not good of course. Personally, I always do and have had fat in every meal. Even with ones with a decent amount of carbs. Normally for me 10-15g fat per meal added.
Very good advices, thanks! In Europe I can’t found cream of rice, only baby rice! That brand it’s pretty interesting but nothing here! For the rice I don’t have the rice cooker but I’ve the microwave rice pot ant it’s fast and amazing
More of this please. When it comes to bodybuilding, powerlifting, or even strongman training what you eat is the most important thing. Would love to hear more from this guy. The not drinking anything 15 min before or 30 min after eating i found very helpful.
I measured them BEFORE cooking since they dry out so much in the cooking process and can vary in that degree depending on the oven. It was 3 oz = 20g carbs
@@christuttle6487 no brother not in Brazil! only thing here is ground rice and rice milk (not this brand of cream of rice tho). however im moving back to Canada next year so will be helpful. how do u like rice milk? imo it helps a lot to put carbs down
Chris has another video with Foud (spell check) talking about as you increase calories, you increase fiber, too much vegetable/starchy fiber can actually be an irritant / make you bloated. apparently if you have too much over time. He suggests a combo of vegetable + fruit fiber bc they work together. But he only suggests 25g of fiber / day or so.
Spinach, potatoes, brown rice, whole grain bread, nuts etc.. All of them so high in oxalates. So much people have joint pain, inflammation, kidney stones, chronic fatigue etc. due to "healthy" diet full of oxalates and don't know it.. At least eat broccoli instead of spinach. Spinach is king of oxalates. It is so high in oxalates that it is not even funny..
yes very true but most people do not have problems handling a diet higher oxalates. TONS of people complain about gas and bloating with consuming broccoli.
@@christuttle6487 ok so green beans or something like that is much better. I don't see any benefit from spinach. It is high in minerals, but they are not available to our body due to high oxalate content... Just eat some chlorella/spirulina for "green stuff" that is much better choice..
@@jirihutecka9020 Not true. Fresh spinach cooked is VERY absorb-able, easier to eat and digest than raw, and contains more micros than green beans. Of course if you like green beans more then eat green beans.
@Chris & Alexia Tuttle "I checked with the USA Rice Federation, the trade association for rice farmers, millers, and merchants. The bottom line from that group is that if you use US-produced rice, no matter which type (brown, white, wild or the various varieties that come in both white and brown such as basmati, jasmine, sushi or “regular” short, medium and long grained), you do not need to wash the rice before cooking it. For enriched white rice, washing may even wash away nutrients that are added when the rice is processed." - motherwouldknow.com/rice-is-nice-and-you-can-cook-it-unwashed-too-maybe-html/ - excellent video love it, just wanted to share the part specifically on USA rice 👍🏽
@@supercenturion7531 That is good info to know. Thanks! I rinse it because I think it cooks better and does not stick together as much. As far as nutrients go, I am not after nutrients in rice since there is so little to begin with. Just a straight energy source that is easily digestible.
Excellent some of the best info I’ve seen in while on TH-cam
Wow who is this guy!? So knowledgable. Reminds of evan centopani.
Gregory Kalinousky he’s even better than Evan...check the Animal archives

Wow, Mic the Vegan is looking JACKED!!
Those rice cakes taste so good! Just wish they didn't fall apart while you ate them.
I know! That is the worst. MUST be eaten over a plate. DEF NOT in the car! HAAHAH
Chris... On the French fries.. In terms of logging in my macros... Do I weigh the portion before or after cooking??
Thank you!

Thank you . Useful..👍
Are you not a fan of wheat overall for bulking? Do you feel like milk products end up being an issue for most?
great tips. What about pro-biotics supplements ?
What brand of rice cooker is that?
Other great addition is rice milk! The bad thing about some of these is that they r USA only
Do you guys have Cream of wheat? That can work as well.

Babys shit
Better than Bouillon
Why get rid of fiber? i thought it was very important for gut health and getting rid of toxins ect? 👍

Basmati or Thai rice are like the jasmine?
Yes they can be used as a subsitute. I just used Jasmine because it is a white rice, digests easy, and has a nice flavor.
Chris & Alexia Tuttle thanks!! Basmati and Thai are also white, but here are more cheaper than the jasmine

Oh yes! Works great but everyone is afraid for them. HAHAH
How about Min rice and soy sauce?
Works great as well!
