Did he post a video or meal plan for when he was on 1,000 carbs? All of his other meal plans Ive seen were super clean, emphasized vegetables. Did he do a 180 and start putting hfcs chocolate syrup on spaghetti?
Chris you're doing the right thing by cooking your mushrooms. The body can't digest the mushrooms' chitin and without cooking them, no nutrients can be taken in.
He said they're a little more calorific so he only eats them in small portions (3-4oz) but his reason for including them in his diet is more diversity of micronutrients.
